Brush head for an oral care implement
A brush head for an oral care implement includes at least one (first) group of tufts extending from a mounting surface of a tuft carrier having a rotation axis. The tufts have a base end and a free end. The tufts of the first group are tufts having an extension in a circumferential direction about the rotation axis exceeding an extension in a radial direction. The tufts of the first group may be inclined with respect to the mounting surface in at least one direction. Each of the first-group tufts may comprise a first group of filaments and a second group of filaments, wherein the second-group filaments' free ends protrude beyond the first-group filaments' free ends.
VIDEO TOOTHBRUSH
Embodiments of the disclosure provide a video toothbrush. An exemplary video toothbrush may include a handle housing an exciter and a support element including a support neck and a support head. The support element may be configured to extend from a proximal connection with the handle to a distal end. The video toothbrush may further include a camera mounted near the distal end of the support head and a shaft extending from the support neck and configured to support a cleaning head toward a distal end of the shaft and configured to receive vibration from the exciter toward a proximal end of the shaft. The video toothbrush may also include the cleaning head having a plurality of bristles projecting in a first direction. The cleaning head may define a central opening. The central opening may be arranged to provide the camera with a view in the first direction.
SMART TOOTHBRUSH CONTROL CIRCUIT, SMART TOOTHBRUSH, AND TOOTH-BRUSHING BEHAVIOR MONITORING METHOD
A smart toothbrush control circuit, a smart toothbrush, and a smart tooth-brushing behavior monitoring method are provided. The smart toothbrush control circuit includes: a main control module, a brush head module, a position detection module, and a pressure detection module. The main control module is connected to a cloud server by a smart terminal. The main control module uploads oral data to the cloud server so as to implement deep-level data analysis and processing on the oral data. The main control module generates a control signal according to the oral data, and the brush head module, the position detection module and the pressure detection module send a variety of behavior guidance and prompts to a user on the basis of the control signal. The smart terminal synchronously display a tooth-brushing behavior of the user on the basis of the control signal.
SALIVA COLLECTION AND TESTING SYSTEM FOR PREDICTIVE MEDICINE
A saliva collection and testing system comprising an electric toothbrush (1) suitable for taking a user's saliva by way of taking means (15), and a test unit (21) for testing the taken saliva, said test unit (21) including a seat (22) for the electric toothbrush (1) comprising means (25, 33) for taking the saliva collected by the toothbrush, said test unit (21) cleaning-up the saliva taking means (15) of the electric toothbrush (1) after saliva is taken so as to prepare said electric toothbrush (1) to a subsequent use. A digital tooth fingerprint sensor is present on the toothbrush and allows to recognize the user. Advantageously the test results are sent to a remote unit via a wireless system and in an encrypted mode for their subsequent processing by one or several Machine Learning algorithms which exploit an Artificial Intelligence.
ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH
An electric toothbrush, including a refill connectable to a handle via a coupling device. The handle has a drive mechanism, and the refill has a brush head and a motion transmitter functionally connected to the brush head for driving it. The handle has a coupling stem terminating with a free end and including a coupling pin extending from the stem. The refill includes a generally tubular portion formed by refill walls defining an interior space for accepting the coupling stem of the handle. The coupling device comprises a pair of mutually opposite and resiliently deformable cantilevered arms disposed adjacent to the refill walls in the interior space of the refill. Each of the cantilevered arms terminates with a coupling surface for engaging the stem's coupling pin for secure and disengageable connection between the handle and the refill.
Electric utility brush having a flexible drive shaft
The present invention is concerned with an electric utility brush having a flexible drive shaft, and in particular an electric toothbrush having a substantially spherical head mounted on the flexible drive shaft and which can be driven rotationally in at least two different orientations in order to provide comprehensive brushing capabilities.
Oral care implement
Oral care implement that can be detachably coupled to a handle having a motor. The oral care implement includes a drive assembly to operably engage the motor, a head portion that includes a body, a first carrier comprising a plurality of bristle tufts extending from the first carrier, the first carrier comprising a central passageway; and a second carrier disposed within the central passageway of the first carrier, the second carrier comprising an elastomeric cleaning element extending from the second carrier. The drive assembly may be operably coupled to each of the first and second carriers and configured to: (1) produce a first oscillatory motion of the first carrier about a first rotational axis; and (2) produce a second oscillatory motion of the second carrier, the second oscillatory motion being counter to the first oscillatory motion.
ROTATION TYPE ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH
The present disclosure provides a rotation type electric toothbrush. The electric toothbrush includes a brush handle module, a vibration module and a brush head module having a brush base, a brush cover and bristles. The brush cover and the brush base are in a detachable connection. The bristles are disposed on the brush base. The brush base includes a groove. The vibration module includes a motor and an eccentric shaft having a transmission connection with the motor. The eccentric shaft inserts into the groove. When the rotation type electric toothbrush is working, the eccentric shaft rotates eccentrically to contact a side surface of the groove, so as to drive the brush base and the brush cover to have a reciprocating rotation synchronously.
REFILL FOR ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH
A refill for an electric toothbrush comprises a generally tubular structure formed by refill walls defining an interior space for accepting thereinto a coupling stem of a toothbrush handle. The refill includes a motion transmitter functionally connected to the brush head for driving it. The refill has a coupling device including a pair of mutually opposite and resiliently deformable cantilevered arms disposed in the interior space of the refill and adjacent to the refill walls and extending from respective roots in a circular or semi-circular manner around, and in a plane substantially perpendicular to, the refill's longitudinal axis.
