The replacement toothbrush head assembly is provided in the form of an assembly that includes a head portion and a stem portion, such that the head portion may be selectively and easily attached and detached from the stem portion. The head includes a plurality of bristles extending from a main body having a coupling portion. The stem includes a corresponding locking portion configured to receive the coupling portion, such that the head is releasably coupled to the stem in an assembled condition.
Cleaning device
Provided is a cleaning device for personal cleaning and care, comprising a cleaning device housing detachably connected to a handle housing, a bracket for supporting the cleaning device, a cleaning element carrier and cleaning elements distributed on the cleaning element carrier, a passive assembly, and a cleaning device transducer. The cleaning device transducer comprises at least two transducer elastic elements; one end of each transducer elastic element is fixedly connected to a corresponding transducer elastic element retainer, and the other end of each transducer elastic element is fixedly connected to an transmission arm of the transducer bracket coupling elastic element; wherein a cleaning device having a natural vibration frequency f.sub.natural is constituted utilizing the bending strain of an elastic material, such that the natural frequency f.sub.natural of the cleaning device is in the range of 100 Hz to 400 Hz, and the relationship between the natural frequency f.sub.natural and the frequency f.sub.0 of the electromagnetic force produced by the drive coil in the handle satisfies: 0.85f.sub.0<f.sub.natural<1.05f.sub.0. The present cleaning device has a compact structure and an aesthetically pleasing shape, rotates steadily, and produces little noise.
ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH AND A BRUSH HEAD FOR THE SAME
An electric toothbrush is disclosed herein. The electric toothbrush may include an elongated body portion with opposed first and second ends and a longitudinal axis extending therebetween; a brush head section arrangeable toward the first end and including: a first bristle support member rotatable in a first direction, and a second bristle support member coupled to the first bristle support member and rotatable in a second direction about a centrally defined axis, the second direction being opposite the first direction; and a drive rod coupled to at least the first bristle support member and having an axis oriented so as to extend coincident with, or substantially parallel to, the longitudinal axis of the electric toothbrush, the drive rod being arranged to linearly move along the axis so as to rotate the first bristle support member in the first direction and rotate the second bristle support member in the second direction.
Toothbrush
The present invention is concerned with a toothbrush, in particular an electric or otherwise driven toothbrush having a rotatable head, wherein the head incorporates arrays of bristle tufts, at least some of which extend substantially radially of the axis of rotation.
Brush head and electric toothbrush
A brush head for an electric toothbrush comprises an attachable housing and a carrier having a mounting side and mounted for driven oscillatory rotational motion around a rotation axis that extends through a center point on the carrier's mounting side. Each of the tufts has a tufting area of at least about 2.0 mm.sup.2. Filaments in each of the tufts have a cross-sectional area perpendicular to their length extension direction that corresponds to a circular cross sectional area having a diameter in the range of between 140 m and 102 m, wherein the brush head comprises only tufts of the defined type.
Oral hygiene implement
An oral hygiene implement has a neck section extending along a longitudinal direction and a head section having a through hole therein extending through the head section along a through hole direction having an angle with respect to the longitudinal direction and having a head section housing surrounding the through hole. The neck section has a neck section housing surrounding a neck section cavity. The through hole defines a first and a second opening in the head section housing. A cap element, separately made from the head section housing, is connected with the head section housing to essentially cover the first opening. A carrier element, separately made from the head section housing, is arranged to cover the second opening. Between an edge of the first opening and an edge of the cap there is a circumferential gap that allows water, saliva, or toothpaste to escape an interior of the head section during use.
Oral care implement
The present disclosure is concerned with an oral hygiene implement having a longitudinal axis, a carrier element mounted for driven movement, a motion transmitter that has a first end for transferring a drive force to the carrier element, which first end is provided at a position being offset from the longitudinal axis, and the motion transmitter has a second end positioned essentially on on the longitudinal axis or is arranged for being positioned essentially on the longitudinal axis during operation, wherein the motion transmitter has a first coupling part comprising the first end, which first coupling part essentially extends along a centre axis arranged at an angle with respect to the longitudinal axis, and a second coupling part comprising the second end, which first coupling part is fixedly connected with a first connecting portion of an elastic pivot element that allows that the first coupling part and the second coupling part can pivot with respect to each other at least in a first pivoting plane spanned by the longitudinal axis and by the centre axis, and wherein the first coupling part is made from a plastics material, including reinforced plastics materials, having a Young's modulus of at least 5000 MPa or from a metal material, and at least the first connecting portion, in particular the whole elastic pivot element, is made from a plastics material having a Young's modulus of not more than 3000 MPa, optionally of not more than 1000 MPa, further optionally of not more than 500 MPa.
