20170215573 · 2017-08-03 ·

An oral hygiene device in the form of a toothbrush 10 comprises a handle section 12, a cartridge 14 containing a cleaning composition held under gas pressure, an actuating mechanism 16 and a head section 18. The cartridge has a discharge opening at a front end thereof, which includes a control valve 26 comprising a valve stem 27. The actuating mechanism 16 includes a plunger 40 and a lever formation 38 which acts on the plunger. The lever formation is acted upon by a hand-operated actuating button 58 for dispensing the plunger rearwardly for depressing the valve stem 27 for releasing cleaning composition from the cartridge causing the cleaning composition to be conveyed under gas pressure along passage 48 of the valve stem and into passages 46, 32, 37 and 29 where it is discharged via opening 31 at a distal end of the head section 18 onto bristles 28.

Electric cleaning and care appliance, pressure alarming method and apparatus for the appliance

The invention relates an electrical cleaning and care appliance, pressure alarming method and apparatus for the appliance. Transducer elastic members of the appliance engage in resonance oscillation motion with bending strain characteristics, are symmetrically distributed on the left and right sides of the longitudinal axis (L.sub.2) of a drive shaft, and have approximately equal section moduli in bending, approximately equal lengths, approximately equal deflection amplitudes and opposite flexure directions; the angle between the longitudinal axis (L.sub.1) of a cleaning element and the normal direction of the transducer elastic member plane is 0° to 60°; the frequency of the alternating current in a drive coil is a fixed value equal to f.sub.0max−n, where n is a fixed value in the range of −0.3(f.sub.0max−f.sub.0min) to 0.85(f.sub.0max−f.sub.0min). Therefore, the appliance has a higher mechanical efficiency, a simple structure and a lower cost.

Motor

A motor comprises an enclosure, a stator and a rotor, the stator comprising a first electromagnetic group and a second electromagnetic group between which the rotor is inserted, the rotor comprising a rotating shaft and a magnetic part installed around the outer wall of the rotating shaft, the motor further comprising an elastic element with a first contact part fixed on rear cover of the enclosure and a second contact part connected with the rotating shaft, wherein the elastic element is elastically deformable in at least two different directions. The motor is applicable to electric toothbrushes, shavers, loudspeakers, electric hammers, stirrers, refrigerators, sewing machines, packaging and bundling machines, electromagnetic pumps, etc. A rotating shaft of the electric toothbrush using the motor has the effects of high-frequency shimming and high-frequency knocking vibration, and the dental calculi on the dental surface are crushed via high-frequency knock, with higher cleaning effect.

Toothbrush system

A toothbrush apparatus and system and associated method. The apparatus includes a sensing module that performs at least one of the following: detect at least one time period associated with use of the toothbrush apparatus, detect one or more movements of the toothbrush apparatus, and any combination thereof. The apparatus's one or more processors communicatively coupled to the sensing module determine one or more measurements based on at least one of: the detected time periods, the detected movements, and any combination thereof, and store the determined measurements in one or more memory locations communicatively coupled to the processors. The apparatus also includes one or more feedback modules that receive the stored measurements and encode the measurements into corresponding feedback signals. One or more data transfer modules transmit the feedback signals.

Automatic toothbrushes

Automatic toothbrushes are disclosed herein. A toothbrush configured in accordance with embodiments of the present technology can include, for example, a handle and a mouthguard coupled to the handle. The mouthguard can be configured to be positioned within a mouth of a user over multiple teeth of the user. A brush assembly having a plurality of bristles can be removably positioned within the mouthguard for engaging and cleaning the teeth of the user. A motor can be disposed within or coupled to the handle and configured to articulate the brush assembly within the mouthguard.

An electrical toothbrush system, device, method and kit are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the system or device or kit include a suction lumen. In some embodiments, a display-control circuitry is provided, the circuitry configured to cause the display assembly to operate in the first or second display modes according to an elapsed-time-since-most-recent-operation, as measured by the timing circuitry.

Electric toothbrush head

An electric toothbrush head includes a brusher, a supporting housing, a transmission shaft, and a tail plug. The brusher is provided with a hairy surface, an inner wall of the brusher away from the hairy surface is provided with an outer ring column, a pothole is provided in a middle of the outer ring column, and two spiral fitting grooves are provided at two symmetrical ends of an outer sidewall of the outer ring column. A connector is provided on a top of the supporting housing and matched with the brusher, a cylinder is provided in a middle of the connector and matched with the outer ring column, two first bayonets are provided at two symmetrical ends of an inner wall of the connector and snapped with the two spiral fitting grooves. The electric toothbrush head can improve the cleanliness, prolong the service life and eliminate the noise.

Oral Care System and Method for Promoting Oral Hygiene

An oral care system includes: an oral care device including a head having a reference face; and a plurality of sensors configured to generate sensor data, the sensor data including: motion data and orientation data corresponding, respectively, to motion measurements and orientation measurements of the reference face during a freeform oral care routine; and image data generated from external images of the oral cavity during the freeform oral care routine; and at least one programmable processor communicably coupled to the plurality of sensors, the at least one programmable processor configured to: generate transformed sensor data from the sensor data, the transformed sensor data comprising the orientation data transformed to be expressed in terms of an angular orientation system, the motion data, and enhanced image data, the enhanced image data representing each external image of the oral cavity combined with a representation of corresponding transformed orientation data.

Short wavelength visible light-emitting toothbrush with an electronic signal interlock control

A toothbrush having one or more light sources with an electronic interlock control device preventing operation of the light source when the toothbrush is removed from the user's mouth. The electronic interlock control over operation is necessary to prevent accidental eye exposure to the high intensity light source with a wavelength in the range of about 400 nm to about 1000 nm. The light-emitting toothbrush activates upon entering the user's mouth but deactivates immediately when removed, thus protecting the user's eyes from direct exposure to the high power light source contained in the brush head.
