20190282285 · 2019-09-19 ·

Embodiments may include fixation devices and methods for securing first and second body tissue portions. Fixation devices may include a base component, an insert component, and a flexible member. The base component may include a passage. The insert component may be positionable within at least a portion of the passage. The elongate member may be configured to be positioned through the first and second body tissue portions. The elongate member may be tensioned and pinched between the base component and insert component to secure the first and second portions.

Tenodesis Anchor
20190274815 · 2019-09-12 · ·

A tenodesis anchor having an anchor member coupled to at least one fiber loop. The anchor member is inserted into a bone and the loop closed about a tendon to be anchored to the bone. Closing the loops additionally deforms the anchor member so that it remains within the bone, thereby securing the tendon trapped in the loop to the bone without the use of a staple.

Overdrive prevention for expandable anchor

Surgical devices and methods are provided for anchoring tissue to bone, and more particularly methods and devices are provided for preventing over-insertion of an expander into a sheath of a two-piece anchor. For example, a tendon anchoring system is provided with an anchor assembly and an inserter tool. The anchor assembly includes a sheath with a threaded lumen and a threaded expander screw configured to be threadably disposed within the sheath to cause the sheath to expand outward. The inserter tool includes an elongate outer shaft with a distal end configured to couple to a proximal end of the sheath, and an elongate inner shaft with a distal drive tip configured to engage a proximal end of the expander screw. In one embodiment, the inner shaft can be rotatable relative to the outer shaft to thread the expander screw into the sheath, and the inner shaft can be prevented from rotating relative to the outer shaft when the expander screw is fully threaded into the sheath to prevent over-insertion of the expander screw into the sheath.

TISSUE REPAIR ASSEMBLY AND SYSTEM WITH SOFT ANCHORING IMPLANT

Tissue repair systems which use knotless all-suture anchors and have the ability to lock multiple repair sutures within the anchor construct. The anchor construct includes a tension suture wrapped or looped upon itself to create an open eyelet, through which multiple repair sutures originating in soft tissue are passed. The location of the eyelet may be anywhere inside the all-suture anchor or adjacent to the exterior of the anchor body. Tensioning of the tension suture causes the eyelet to restrict movement of the repair sutures and secures them within or against the anchor body.

SYSTEMS, DEVICES, AND METHODS FOR SECURING TISSUE USING SNARE ASSEMBLIES AND SOFT ANCHORS
20190223857 · 2019-07-25 ·

Systems, devices, and methods are provided for securing soft tissue to bone. One exemplary embodiment of a surgical soft tissue repair device includes a snare assembly coupled to a soft anchor in which the soft anchor has a first, unstressed configuration that can be used to insert the anchor into bone and a second, anchoring configuration that can be used to fixate the anchor in the bone. The snare assembly can be configured to actuate the anchor from the first configuration to the second configuration, and it can also be used to engage and approximate tissue by drawing the tissue closer to the anchor fixated in the bone. The snare assembly can be used in conjunction with a number of different anchor configurations, and other exemplary systems, devices, and methods for use with soft tissue repair are also provided.

FLEXIBLE TIBIAL SHEATH
20190216594 · 2019-07-18 ·

A radially expandable sheath is provided having a substantially closed distal end with at least two sidewalls extending proximally therefrom and defining a central lumen. Each sidewall can have a substantially concave outer surface adapted to seat a graft member, and each side wall is at least partially separated by a longitudinally oriented slot that extends from a proximal end along a substantial length of each sidewall. The slot preferably terminates at a position just proximal to the distal end. The device can also include a sheath expander that is adapted to be disposed in the central lumen of the radially expandable sheath and that is configured to flex the sidewalls to radially expand the sheath so as to fix a graft member within a bone tunnel.

LIGAMENT ASSEMBLY

A ligament assembly comprising a first ligament anchor (9) connected to a second ligament anchor (14) by a ligament (18) a resilient element (40) being associated with the first ligament anchor (9) and a ligament tension adjuster (44, 50) being associated with the second ligament anchor (14). The resilient element (40) may be disposed within the first ligament anchor (9) and the ligament tension adjuster (44, 50) may be disposed within the second ligament anchor (14).

TRANSOSSEOUS SUTURE ANCHOR

Examples of the invention include implants, instruments and methods for surgical transosseous attachment to a bone. More particularly, examples of the invention relate to knotless suture anchors.

SUTURE SECURING ASSEMBLIES

A suture securing assembly comprises a two-bodied anchor and an associated delivery system which enhances fixation of a micro anchor in a bone hole or tunnel, as well as improving suture lock within bone. Initially, the two bodies are separated by a length of an inner shaft of the delivery system. The proximal body is fixed on the inner shaft of the delivery system and cannot move relative to the handle until after insertion into the bone, when the delivery system is disengaged from the anchor. The distal body further includes expansion wings and/or other features for increasing suture lock within the bone hole.

IMPLANT DEVICE FOR PLANTAR REPAIR

Various aspects of an implant for plantar plate repair and a surgical method of plantar plate repair using the implant are described. In one example, the implant includes a female component and a male component. The female component includes an open barrel having an outer surface and an inner surface, a flange cap at one end of the open barrel, and a recessed tiedown bar that extends between openings through the flange cap. The openings through the flange cap extending into the open barrel of the female component. The male impant includes an open barrel portion, a pair of fingers extending from one end of the open barrel portion, and a flange cap at another end of the open barrel portion. The male implant also includes an opening through the flange cap, extending into the open barrel portion of the male implant.
