MIDFOOT BONE REPLACEMENT
A method of implanting a midfoot replacement in an adult human foot comprising includes removing at least a portion of at least one midfoot bone from the adult human foot. The method also includes inserting a midfoot replacement into the adult human foot such that a proximal side of the midfoot replacement engages at least one of a calcaneus and a talus of the adult human foot, and a distal side of the midfoot replacement engages at least one of a first metatarsal and a fourth metatarsal of the adult human foot.
Device and method for correcting spinal deformities in patients
Devices and related methods for the dynamic correction of spinal deformities are disclosed. The devices and methods are particularly useful for correcting an abnormal curvature of the spine. In one exemplary embodiment, a method for correcting deformity via a spinal implant that can include a polymer between or attached to a top and bottom plate, which can exist in a wedge-shaped configuration in order to apply asymmetric forces to the spinal column, is provided. The implant may be inserted between adjacent vertebrae comprising part of the abnormal curvature, thereby restoring the normal curvature of a spine.
Fused femoral stem system
The present invention provides a fused femoral stem system, including a curved short handle, a fixing mechanism and a femoral head prosthesis, one end of the curved short handle is provided with a conical connector, the conical connector is cooperatively connected with a conical connecting hole of the femoral head prosthesis, the other end of the curved short handle is inserted from the osteotomy surface of the femoral neck and stretches to the position of a medullary cavity below a small trochanter, and the curved short handle is connected and fixed with a large trochanter through the fixing mechanism. The present invention has the beneficial effects that, after the growing-in osseointegration with the sclerotin surrounding the proximal bone bed of the host after the surgery of the whole system, the mechanical influence on the retained femoral neck and the sclerotin in the vicinity of the large and small trochanters is substantially similar to the biomechanical state prior to the surgery.
INTERVERTEBRAL IMPLANT
An intervertebral implant with a support portion (1.1) and a proximal contact portion (1.3) adjoined thereto in the longitudinal direction, is better adapted, as an intervertebral implant, to the contours of the lower and upper sides of the vertebrae that are spaced apart by the implant. An upper side (1.6) and a lower side (1.7) of the implant are configured symmetrically relative to a horizontal center plane (L-Q). In particular a height of the support portion between the transition (U) thereof to the contact portion (1.3) and a distal end face (1.2) facing away from the contact portion (1.3) are greater than the height at the transition (U) and at the distal end face (1.2).
EXPANDABLE INTERBODY SPACER
Devices and methods for treating one or more damaged, diseased, or traumatized portions of the spine, including intervertebral discs, to reduce or eliminate associated back pain. In one or more embodiments, the present invention relates to an expandable interbody spacer. The expandable interbody spacer may comprise a first jointed arm comprising a plurality of links pivotally coupled end to end. The expandable interbody spacer further may comprise a second jointed arm comprising a plurality of links pivotally coupled end to end. The first jointed arm and the second jointed arm may be interconnected at a proximal end of the expandable interbody spacer. The first jointed arm and the second jointed arm may be interconnected at a distal end of the expandable interbody spacer.

MIDFOOT BONE REPLACEMENT
An replacement for a human includes a body having a superior surface, an inferior surface, a distal surface, and a proximal surface. The proximal surface is configured to engage the talus and the calcaneus of an adult human, and the distal surface configured to engage at least the first and fourth metatarsals of the adult human. The distal surface has a largest distal height and a largest distal width that is greater than the largest distal height, and the proximal surface has a largest proximal height and a largest proximal width that is greater than the largest proximal height.
SHOULDER ARTHROPLASTY SYSTEMS AND CONFIGURATIONS FOR COMPONENTS THEREOF
Shoulder arthroplasty systems and configurations for components thereof are described. For example, implant systems for a total should arthroplasty (TSA), hemi shoulder arthroplasty, and reverse should arthroplasty (RSA) are described. In addition, exemplary configurations for baseplates, glenoid components, glenosphere components, humeral components, humeral head components, humerosocket components, connectors, and adaptors, are described.
