REVERSE SHOULDER PROSTHESIS
Implant assemblies for reverse shoulder arthroplasty are disclosed. In one embodiment, the implant assembly comprises a humeral component, an adaptor fixed to the neck of the humeral component, and a glenosphere bearing component coupled to the adaptor. The glenosphere bearing component comprises a first bearing surface that interfaces with an articulating surface of the adaptor to allow the adaptor to rotate relative to the adaptor and humeral component. The adaptor and the glenosphere bearing component form a locking mechanism that prevents the adaptor from decoupling from the glenosphere bearing component while allowing the adaptor to remain rotatable relative to the glenosphere bearing component after the implant assembly is implanted in the patient The second bearing surface is configured to interface with a glenosphere component to allow the glenosphere bearing component to articulate relative to the glenosphere component.
BIONIC ARTIFICIAL HIP JOINT
The invention discloses a bionic artificial hip joint. The artificial hip joint includes a femoral stem located above corpus femoris, and a convex force-bearing part is provided on the femoral stem. The force-bearing part abuts against the inner side of the cortex on greater trochanter and bears a part of the longitudinal stress; its hollow design is convenient for bone grafting, so that the prosthesis and the greater trochanter can be integrated. Replacement surgery can preserve the hard cortex on the greater trochanter, providing another focus point for the femoral stem and further improving the stability of the connection between the bionic artificial hip joint and corpus femoris.
BIONIC ARTIFICIAL INTERPHALANGEAL JOINT
The present invention discloses a bionic artificial interphalangeal joint. The bionic artificial interphalangeal joint includes three sets of proximal prostheses and distal prostheses matched with the proximal prostheses and respectively corresponding to the three joints from the metacarpal bone to the distal phalanx. According to the specific position of the joint to be replaced, the corresponding artificial interphalangeal joint can be selected for replacement. Among them, the bionic artificial interphalangeal joint that can be installed between the metacarpal bone and the proximal phalanx has multiple degrees of freedom, which allows the proximal phalanx to bent in any direction like a real finger, and the bending angle of the proximal phalanx can be up to about 90 degrees when the proximal phalanx is bent toward the inner side of the finger.
IMPLANTS, SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
Implants, device, systems and methods for replacing an articulation surface in a joint, for example, shoulder prostheses with stemless humeral components or stemmed humeral components. Methods for using the shoulder prostheses with stemless humeral components or stemmed humeral components are also disclosed.
STANDALONE ANTERIOR CERVICAL INTERBODY SPACER
A standalone anterior cervical interbody spacer (ACIF) that includes a spacer body and plate rigidly couple via flexible pins.
Interbody spacer with non-screw anchor
An interbody spacer for the spine comprises an anchor assembly removably connectable to a cage. The anchor assembly includes at least two non-screw bone anchors. With insertion of the anchor assembly into the cage, at least one anchor slides against a ramp from an undeployed configuration to rotate up with respect to the plate and out of an upper exit opening of the cage for anchoring into an upper vertebral body and a second anchor slides against a ramp to rotate down with respect to the plate and out of a lower exit opening of the cage for anchoring into a lower vertebral body. The anchor assembly locks with respect to the cage by way of deflectable locking tabs.
VARIABLE LORDOTIC ANGULAR EXPANDING IMPLANT WITH CENTRALIZED GRAFT DEPLOYMENT CHANNEL
Provided is a variable lordotic expanding implant with a centralized graft deployment delivery channel (tube) with (or without) an expanding footprint mesh component which is deployed by graft material injection.
Modular humeral prosthesis for an inverted shoulder prosthesis
The invention relates to a modular humeral prosthesis for an inverse shoulder prosthesis, comprising an anatomical shaft (1) and a separable epiphyseal head (2) which may be angularly orientated by rotation about the longitudinal axis (XX) of the anatomical shaft. The anatomical shaft and the epiphyseal head comprise complementary angular indexing means (11, 28) for relative rotational fixation.
Low profile plate
The present application generally relates to orthopedic systems, and in particular, to systems including independent plates and spacers. A plating system can include a spacer and a plate that is independent from the spacer. A number of locking mechanisms can be provided to secure the plate to the spacer. In some cases, the spacer includes a pair of notches that extend on an outer surface of the spacer. The plate can include a pair of lateral extensions that can engage the notches to secure the plate to the spacer. In other cases, the spacer includes an opening including a pair of inlets. The plate can include an enclosed posterior extension that can be received in the pair of inlets to secure the plate to the spacer.
