Shoulder prosthesis components and assemblies

Various embodiments disclosed herein relate to stemmed and stemless humeral anchors for use in shoulder arthroplasty procedures. For example, the humeral anchor can include a first end, a second end, and an interior surface extending between the first end and the second end. The interior surface can be disposed about a recess disposed between the first end and the second end. The recess can be configured to secure a coupling of a shoulder articular body directly to the interior surface.

PATIENT-SPECIFIC VERTEBRAL IMPLANTS WITH POSITIONING FEATURES

The present technology provides patient-specific vertebral implants. The implants can include a cage having a geometry contoured to mate with an inferior surface of a superior vertebra and a superior surface of an inferior vertebra at a first target position. The implants can also include a plate having a geometry contoured to mate with an identified anatomical structure at a second target position. The cage and plate can be coupled in a predetermined three-dimensional orientation that simultaneously permits the cage to occupy the first target position and the plate to occupy the second target position when the implant is implanted.

Bionic artificial interphalangeal joint

The present invention discloses a bionic artificial interphalangeal joint. The bionic artificial interphalangeal joint includes three sets of proximal prostheses and distal prostheses matched with the proximal prostheses and respectively corresponding to the three joints from the metacarpal bone to the distal phalanx. According to the specific position of the joint to be replaced, the corresponding artificial interphalangeal joint can be selected for replacement. Among them, the bionic artificial interphalangeal joint that can be installed between the metacarpal bone and the proximal phalanx has multiple degrees of freedom, which allows the proximal phalanx to bent in any direction like a real finger, and the bending angle of the proximal phalanx can be up to about 90 degrees when the proximal phalanx is bent toward the inner side of the finger.

Multi-Component Locking Implant

A method for treating a bone includes cutting away a portion of the bone, including cutting non-planar features into the bone for engagement by implant components. The method further includes fitting the multiple implant components to the bone, with at least some of the multiple implant components engaging the non-planar features cut into the bone. The implant components interlock such that later added implant components secure earlier added implant components in place on the bone.

EXPANDABLE FUSION DEVICE AND METHOD OF INSTALLATION THEREOF

The present invention provides an expandable fusion device capable of being inserted between adjacent vertebrae to facilitate the fusion process. The expandable fusion device may include first and second endplates, a translation member configured to expand an anterior side and/or posterior side of the device, a plurality of joists configured to connect the first and second endplates to the translation member, and first and second actuation members disposed internally to the device such that openings on a back side of the device can be used to expand or compress the anterior side, the posterior side, or both and such openings may also be used to introduce graft material into the device.

Low profile plate

The present application generally relates to orthopedic systems, and in particular, to systems including independent plates and spacers. A plating system can include a spacer and a plate that is independent from the spacer. A number of locking mechanisms can be provided to secure the plate to the spacer. In some cases, the spacer includes a pair of notches that extend on an outer surface of the spacer. The plate can include a pair of lateral extensions that can engage the notches to secure the plate to the spacer. In other cases, the spacer includes an opening including a pair of inlets. The plate can include an enclosed posterior extension that can be received in the pair of inlets to secure the plate to the spacer.

Expandable spinal interbody assembly

An expandable implant includes a top support assembly defining an upper surface configured to engage a first portion of bone, a first central aperture extending from the upper surface to an interior of the implant, and a first grid structure surrounding the first central aperture; a bottom support assembly defining a lower surface configured to engage a second portion of bone, a second central aperture extending from the lower surface to the interior, and a second grid structure surrounding the second central aperture; and a control assembly coupled to the top support assembly and the bottom support assembly and configured to control relative movement between the top support assembly and the bottom support assembly between a collapsed position and an expanded position.

Artificial knee joint

An artificial knee joint comprises a femoral condyle prosthesis and a tibial plateau prosthesis; wherein the tibial plateau prosthesis includes a medial tibial plateau prosthesis and a lateral tibial plateau prosthesis disposed at both sides of the tibial plateau intercondylar eminence, respectively. The artificial knee joint further comprises a locating pin for fixing the tibial plateau prosthesis. The bottom surface of the tibial plateau prosthesis is provided with a prosthetic notch, and the tibia below the tibial plateau prosthesis is provided with a tibial notch. The prosthetic notch corresponds to the tibial notch, together forming a limiting hole for accommodating the locating pin. The cooperation between the locating pin and the limiting hole can ensure relative position stability and balance between the medial tibial plateau prosthesis and the lateral tibial plateau prosthesis.
