Personal care appliance
Portable, electrically driven, handheld sonic personal skin/hair care device includes a housing and a drive assembly to which is coupled a treatment member. The treatment member may include active ingredients incorporated during manufacturing that safely resist and inhibit the growth of mold, mildew and bacteria. The drive assembly includes a stator assembly, armature assembly, mounting member attached to the housing, elongated pivot arm having a first end directly coupled to the armature assembly and a second end directly coupled to the mounting member, and mounting arm having first and second ends, the first end being directly coupled to the armature assembly and the second end being directly coupled to the treatment member such that the stator, when energized, causes oscillation of the armature in an arcuate manner about a pivot point located at the mounting member in turn causing the treatment member to oscillate relative to the housing.
Cleaning element carrier and toothbrush head comprising it
A cleaning element carrier for a toothbrush in a form of a disk has a back surface including a central depression covering at least 70% of the back surface and forming an edge at the border. The carrier's front surface includes at least one protrusion so that the front surface comprises two levels, wherein the area covered by the depression is larger than the area covered by the protrusion.
Handheld motorized facial brush having specialized torque transfer clip
A Handheld Motorized Facial Brush Having Specialized Torque Transfer Clip. The heads interface with a conventional handpiece so that the facial brush or other facial treatment head can be removed and replaced with a head chosen from a group of treatment heads. The handpiece has a sealed, washable head portion that can be activated to rotate. Each treatment head or treatment assembly includes a torque transfer clip that provides biasing force between the handpiece and the head, but at the same time results in additional vibration being transferred from the vibration generator in the handpiece to the treatment head. The torque transfer clip also allows for some flex between the treatment head and the handpiece.
Power hairbrush with improved sebum-removing brushhead
A power hairbrush which oscillates in operation with a frequency in the range of 55 Hz-120 Hz and an amplitude in the range of 8-20°, with a brushhead adapted to remove sebum and other material from the scalp and hair of a user, the brushhead including a plurality of lines or rows of filament tufts, wherein each filament in the filament tufts at its distal end is split into several portions. The brushhead further includes a plurality of lines of solid tuft members positioned adjacent to the lines of filament tufts. The filament tufts are approximately 1-3 mm taller than the solid tuft members.
APPARATUSES AND METHODS FOR CLEANING A SURFACE
A method of cleaning a surface includes steps of (1) positioning a brush in contact with the surface; (2) rotating the brush relative to a drum about a second axis; and (3) rotating the drum relative to a bracket, supporting the drum, about a first axis, parallel to the second axis, such that the brush orbitally revolves about the first axis.
UNDERWATER HULL CLEANING MACHINE, HULL CLEANING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CLEANING A HULL OF A VESSEL
According to embodiments of the present invention, an underwater hull cleaning machine is provided. The cleaning machine includes a housing including a base region adapted to be arranged facing at least part of an external surface to be cleaned; a guiding mechanism coupled to the housing, wherein the guiding mechanism is configured to enable the cleaning machine to be maneuvered along the external surface; and at least one brush configured to move between an extended position and a retracted position. In the extended position, the at least one brush is extended downwardly towards the base region to be in contact with the external surface. In the retracted position, the at least one brush is moved upwardly away from the base region to be free from contact with the external surface. According to further embodiments, a hull cleaning system and a method for cleaning a vessel hull are also provided.
Sweeping brush for an automatically moving cleaning device
A sweeping brush for an automatically moving cleaning device has a rotational axis receptacle for receiving a rotational axis of the cleaning device and at least one bundle receptacle that extends outwardly from a transition area on the rotational axis receptacle, which holds a bristle bundle having a plurality of bristles. The bundle receptacle is arched as viewed in an axial direction of the rotational axis receptacle. In order to optimize known sweeping brushes in terms of their service life and cleaning properties, the bundle receptacle is fabricated out of an elastic material.
Methods for cleaning a surface
A method of cleaning a surface includes steps of (1) positioning a brush in contact with the surface; (2) rotating the brush relative to a drum about a second axis; and (3) rotating the drum relative to a bracket, supporting the drum, about a first axis, parallel to the second axis, such that the brush orbitally revolves about the first axis.
Video toothbrush
Embodiments of the disclosure provide a video toothbrush. An exemplary video toothbrush may include a handle housing an exciter and a support element including a support neck and a support head. The support element may be configured to extend from a proximal connection with the handle to a distal end. The video toothbrush may further include a camera mounted near the distal end of the support head and a shaft extending from the support neck and configured to support a cleaning head toward a distal end of the shaft and configured to receive vibration from the exciter toward a proximal end of the shaft. The video toothbrush may also include the cleaning head having a plurality of bristles projecting in a first direction. The cleaning head may define a central opening. The central opening may be arranged to provide the camera with a view in the first direction.
Cleansing brushhead for a facial skin cleansing appliance
The brushhead includes an outer brushhead which is fixed in operation when the brushhead is attached to a skin brush appliance and an inner brushhead which oscillates in operation. The outer brushhead includes three spaced sections of elastomeric fingers and three spaced sections of tufts positioned, respectively, between the elastomeric finger sections. The inner brushhead includes a plurality of non-circular concentric rows of tufts.
