Double-stringer rotary brush
A double-stringer rotary brush assembly formed of a pair of brush wire mounting hubs having sets of alternating radially staggered radially innermost and outermost brush wire tuft mounting holes having different hole sizes with brush wire tufts extending radially outwardly therefrom having at least one of (a) different lengths, (b) an offset trim, and/or (c) differently sized knots anchoring the tufts thereto. One hub can be angularly offset relative to the other hub angularly offsetting the holes of one hub relative to the other hub from being concentric. The tufts extending from one of the radially innermost and outermost holes are stiffer than the tufts extending from the other one of the radially innermost and outermost holes imparting to the brush assembly tufts having different surface finishing and abrasive removal characteristics.
Brush for Vehicle Washing System
The invention relates to a brush for a vehicle washing system including at least one brush body including multiple receiving spaces, multiple brush elements and at least one cover element. The invention further relates to a brush body for use in a brush according to the present invention. The invention further relates to a brush assembly including an axis and multiple adjacent brushes according to the invention. The invention also relates to the use of such brush and to a method of producing a brush for a vehicle washing system.
BRUSH ENCODING DEVICE FOR SYSTEM TO PROMOTE OPTIMUM PERFORMANCE OF HANDHELD COSMETIC DEVICE
A personal care appliance is provided that includes a brushhead for use in skincare; an appliance body having a motor assembly for oscillating the brushhead, wherein the brushhead or a portion of the motor assembly that is configured to oscillate includes a marking; and a brush encoder configured to detect the marking, and determine the oscillation of the brushhead.
SYSTEM TO PROMOTE OPTIMUM PERFORMANCE OF HANDHELD COSMETIC DEVICE
A system to promote optimum performance of a personal care appliance is provided including: a personal care appliance having an appliance status; and a client device, in communication with the appliance, including circuitry configured to compare the appliance status with the protocol for using the appliance, control display of an indicator based on the comparison.
Cleaning apparatus
A cleaner assembly includes a main body having a first end with a handle portion and a second end with a removable cleaner head; a pneumatic motor contained within said main body; an actuator operatively associated with said motor; a rotational shaft operatively associated with said motor and with a rotational cleaner head support; and a cleaner head removably attached to said rotational shaft.
SIDE BRUSH AND ROBOTIC CLEANER
A side brush for a robotic cleaner. The side brush is rotatable about a rotation axis in a rotational direction and has a brush body and numerous linear bristles including a first bristle having a base end at the brush body and an opposite distal end. An imaginary line extends perpendicularly to the rotation axis. The first bristle extends in a bristle direction outwardly from the brush body. Seen in a top view, the bristle direction extends at a first angle to the imaginary line with the distal end pointing rearwardly in relation to the rotational direction. Seen in a side view, the bristle direction extends at a second acute angle to the rotation axis pointing away from the brush body. A robotic cleaner having such a side brush is also disclosed herein.
Vacuum cleaner and cleaning accessory for a vacuum cleaner
A cleaning accessory for a vacuum cleaner comprises a housing. A rotatable cleaning brush is rotatably mounted to the housing. The rotatable cleaning brush has at least one flexible cleaning element projecting outwards from a side of the housing. The at least one flexible cleaning element is configured to rotate and engage with a surface to be cleaned. A rotatable cleaning bar rotatably is mounted within the housing and the rotatable cleaning brush is rotatably coupled to the rotatable cleaning bar. At least a portion of the rotatable cleaning brush is seated within the rotatable cleaning bar or a drive mechanism coupled to the rotatable cleaning bar.
UNDERWATER MARINE GROWTH BRUSHING MECHANISM WITH PASSIVE SELF-ADJUST FOR CURVED SURFACES
A cleaning device that passively self-adjusts to improve biofoul removal across curved, non-uniform, or irregular underwater surfaces. The cleaning device includes a motor, one or more shafts coupled to the motor and coupled to one another via at least one universal joint, and a cleaning mechanism for removing biofoul from the target surface. The cleaning device includes an alignment mechanism that restricts the cleaning mechanism's movement to improve biofoul removal. The alignment mechanism can include bearings, spring components, dampening material, adhesion components, floatation objects, or a combination thereof.
ROTATING COSMETICS BRUSH
A rotating cosmetics brush includes a movable brush head mounted in a housing. A motion actuator is operative to move the brush head in a rotational motion, wherein the brush head rotates about a rotational axis and simultaneously moves in a non-oscillatory movement about another axis different than the rotational axis.
Brush head for a personal grooming device
A removable brush head for a personal groom device, the removable brush head having a stationary portion, wherein the stationary portion is annular and includes a plurality of outwardly-extending brush bristles. The removable brush head also includes a movable portion positioned within the stationary portion, wherein the movable portion is configured to at least partially rotate relative to the stationary portion, and further wherein the movable portion includes a plurality of outwardly-extending brush bristles. Additionally, the removable brush head includes a locking collar, wherein the locking collar is slidably couplable to the stationary portion so as to axially retain the movable portion within the stationary portion while allowing the movable portion to at least partially rotate relative to the stationary portion.
