A system includes an interosseous coupler and a driver. The interosseous coupler includes a first anchor; a second anchor; and a tether extending between the first anchor and the second anchor. The driver is configured to couple to the first anchor and the second anchor and apply rotational force to the first anchor and the second anchor.

EXPANDABLE INTERBODY FUSION DEVICE FOR USE WITH POSTERIOR TO LATERAL APPROACH

A disc implant device can be provided in a generally planar rectangular sheet having a first elongated side, a second elongated side opposing the first elongated side, a first end, and a second end opposing the first end. The generally planar rectangular sheet is structured with alternating segments of joint ridges, each segment of joint ridges being configured to form a spacing joint segment and alternating segments of arm ridges, each arm segment being configured to form a plurality of radially extending arms, the joint segments providing flexibility to the device. When the disc implant is folded or rolled from its planar configuration to a generally cylindrical configuration, the arm segments are axially collapsible and radially expandable such that in such a configuration, the implant includes segments of radially expanded arms separated by spacing joint segments.

Six degree spine stabilization devices and methods

An implant stabilizes two adjacent bones of a joint, while enabling a natural kinematic relative movement of the bones. Support components are connected to each bone of the joint, and a flexible core is interposed between them. The core and at least one of the support components are provided with a smooth sliding surface upon which the core and support component may slide relative to each other, enabling a corresponding movement of the bones. The surfaces may have a mating curvature, to mimic a natural movement of the joint. The core is resilient, and may bend or compress, enabling the bones to move towards each other, and or to bend relative to each other.

TISSUE FIXATION SYSTEM AND METHOD

Methods and devices for stabilizing spinal anatomical structures. Some example methods may include introducing a curved segment of an elongate fastener placement rod adjacent to a bone, providing a fastener at the leading end of the curved segment, and/or securing the fastener in place with respect to the bone.

HIP JOINT TETHER DEVICE

Hip tethering devices comprise a femoral implant including a housing that anchors the femoral implant to the femur, at least one spring, and a slider, such that the slider can move relative to the housing via compression and expansion of the at least one spring. A tether has a first end that anchors to the acetabulum, the tether passes through the femoral head, and a second end couples to the slider of the femoral implant, such that the tether spans across the patient's hip joint and relative motion between the slider and the housing allows a limited degree of separation of the femoral head from the acetabulum, while the at least one spring applies a variable tension load to the tether that resists separation of the femoral head from the acetabulum.

Expandable intervertebral implant and associated method of manufacturing the same

An expandable intervertebral implant (10) includes superior (20) and inferior (30) bone contacting members and at least one vertical wire netting (50) interconnecting the superior and inferior bone contacting members. The superior and inferior bone contacting members include at least two bone contacting components interconnected via one or more lateral wire nettings such that the implant is vertically and laterally expandable in situ from a first insertion configuration to a second expanded configuration. The vertical and lateral wire netting are preferably constructed of a plurality of individual link members. The present invention also preferably relates to an associated method of manufacturing the intervertebral implant such that the intervertebral implant can be manufactured as an integral component or part.

JOINT IMPLANT APPARATUS, SYSTEM, AND METHOD

An improved joint implant apparatus, system, and method. The system includes an implant having a bone-facing articular surface configured to replace at least part of a natural articular surface of a bone adjacent to a joint. The system also includes a transosseous coupler and a bone anchor configured to reside proximate another surface of the bone, separated from the natural articular surface by a bone tunnel. The bone anchor is configured to couple the transosseous coupler to the bone such that the transosseous coupler retains the implant in place on the natural articular surface of the bone.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REPAIRING ARTICULAR SURFACES
20230255781 · 2023-08-17 ·

A joint replacement system for repairing an articular surface of a first bone of a joint includes an anchor portion and an implant portion. The anchor portion includes an anchor to be secured to the bone, and an anchor fixation head including a bone-facing surface (BFS) extending radially outward from the anchor and an implant facing surface (IFS) extending from a periphery of the BFS. The implant portion is formed from a material (e.g., CoCr) more dense than the material of the anchor portion (e.g., Ti) and includes a fixation cavity to receive at least a portion of the anchor fixation head (AFH), the fixation cavity includes an anchor facing surface (AFS) configured to form a frictional connection with the IFS, and a load bearing surface having a contour for articulating against a cooperating articulating surface of a second bone of the joint.

ANCHOR FOR AN IMPLANT ASSEMBLY
20230248529 · 2023-08-10 ·

A medical device includes an implant anchor comprising first and second opposing end portions. The implant anchor may also include a fixation element to configured to couple the implant anchor to an implant, and an anchor element configured to couple the implant anchor to bone. At least a portion of the implant anchor has a porous structure.
