GLENOIDAL COMPONENT, SET OF SUCH COMPONENTS AND SHOULDER PROSTHESIS INCORPORATING SUCH A GLENOIDAL COMPONENT

This glenoidal component for a shoulder prosthesis comprises a base which may be immobilized on the glenoid cavity of a shoulder, and an element provided to be mounted on this base and forming a convex surface of articulation centred on an axis of symmetry. This axis of symmetry is non perpendicular to a rear face of the base intended to abut against the glenoid cavity, this making it possible to compensate a defect in parallelism between the resectioned surface of the glenoid cavity and the axis of the patient's spinal column.

A surgeon can select the component in which the axes of symmetry of the components are oriented differently with respect to their rear faces.

The present invention provides cervical implant (30) comprising an upper surface (38), a lower surface (40), a posterior portion (34) and an anterior portion (36) and including a perimeter (42) and one or more apertures (44,46) within said anterior portion for receiving securing means, said apertures having respective longitudinal axes M1, M2, characterised in that said axes extend in a direction substantially through said anterior portion (36) and converge at a point in a plane outside of said perimeter (42).

ZERO-PROFILE INTERBODY SPACER AND COUPLED PLATE ASSEMBLY

An implant for insertion into the disc space between vertebrae. The implant including a spacer portion, a plate portion coupled to the spacer portion, a plurality of bone fixation elements for engaging the vertebrae and a retention mechanism for preventing the bone fixation elements from postoperatively uncoupling from the implant.

An implant includes a plurality of anchoring members and an interbody device. The interbody device includes a front, a rear, a first lateral side, a second lateral side, a central cavity, and a plurality of bores each configured to receive the plurality of anchoring members. The interbody device further includes a porous portion and a solid portion, the solid portion having a higher density than the porous portion. The solid portion substantially surrounds the porous portion on the lateral outer portions of the front, rear, first lateral side, and second lateral side.

Zero profile spinal fusion cage

An interbody fusion cage having upper and lower canals for receiving the heads of bone screws that have been pre-installed in opposing vertebral body endplates. The proximal wall of the cage preferably has a vertical slot that communicates with each canal and is adapted to allow access by a screwdriver and tightening of the screws.

Elbow prosthesis

An elbow prosthesis according to the present teachings can include a stem structure and an articulating component. The stem structure can be operable to be positioned in a bone of a joint. The stem structure can include a stem portion that is operable to be positioned in the bone and a C-shaped body portion having a first retaining mechanism formed thereon. The articulating component can have a second retaining mechanism formed thereon. One of the first and second retaining mechanisms can comprise an extension portion and a first anti-rotation portion. The other retaining mechanism can comprise a receiving portion and a second anti-rotation portion. The articulating component can be advanced from an insertion position to an assembled position, such that the first and second mechanisms cooperatively interlock to inhibit translation and rotation of the articulating component relative to the C-shaped body portion of the stem structure.

Proposed is an augment implant to which different types of porous structures are applied and, more specifically, an augment implant to which different types of porous structures are applied in which a porous structure of an irregular shape is formed on the outer side of the augment implant and a porous structure of a regular shape is formed on the inner side of the augment implant, thereby ensuring an initial fixing power by means of a rough surface, inducing bone ingrowth to provide a long-term biological fixing power, making the augment implant lightweight, enabling a structure thereof to be shaped with a remarkably low amount of data, reinforcing the strength of a body part having a porous structure through a frame part having a nonporous structure, and facilitating the discharge of remaining inner powder through a powder hole.
