A patella implant for knee arthroplasty includes a cap and a base. The cap has an articulating surface and a plurality of first connection members. The base is to be attached to the backside of a patella of a patient. The base includes a cap support mounted to the cap. The cap support includes a plurality of first connection recesses. Each first connection member of the cap is disposed in a corresponding one of the first connection recesses of the cap support to mount the cap to the base.

A partial ankle prosthesis includes a tibial component including a superior surface configured to be attached to a lower end of a patient's tibia; a poly component that is fixedly attached to the tibial component and includes a concave inferior surface of an anti-friction material; and a talar component including an inferior surface configured to be attached to a patient's talus and a single convex superior surface configured to mate with the inferior surface of the poly component; and the partial ankle prosthesis is configured to be implanted in a single compartment of a patient's ankle.
Implant with curved bone contacting elements
An implant includes a body having a leading edge portion, a trailing edge portion, and an intermediate portion extending between the leading edge portion and the trailing edge portion. The leading edge portion includes a substantially smooth surface forming a substantial majority of a leading edge surface of the leading edge portion. The trailing edge portion includes a monolithic structure including at least one receptacle configured to receive an insertion tool. In addition, the intermediate portion includes a plurality of elongate curved structural members.
Early intervention knee implant device and methods
A replacement knee implant has a femoral implant and a tibial implant, each of which are inset in a bone surface. The tibial implant is generally elongated with one end rounded and an opposite end conforming to the shape of the tibia, and is made of a metal alloy or a ceramic. The upper surface is dished while the lower surface is planar and can be parallel or sloped relative to the upper surface, and can have a keel for fixation. The femoral implant for implementation in a femoral condyle is rounded such that, when implemented, the femoral implant is flush at the anterior and posterior sides and protruding away from the femur between the anterior and posterior ends. The femoral implant can have an elongated keel for extending into the femur, and can be made from a highly cross-linked polyethylene.
Stabilized total ankle prosthesis
The present invention relates to a stabilized ankle prosthesis configured for use in patients with compromised soft tissue in the ankle. The prosthesis of the present invention is a two-component design comprising a stabilizing lip configured to constrain movement in the general direction of compromised soft tissue.
Anchoring device and system for an intervertebral implant, intervertebral implant and implantation instrument
Various embodiments of intervertebral implants, anchoring devices for intervertebral implants, and implantation instrumentation are provided, along with various embodiments of methods for using one or more of the devices. Some embodiments of an anchoring device have a body comprising at least one curve and a rigid plate elongated along a longitudinal axis so that its front end enters at least one vertebra while its rear end remains in the passage of an implant. In some embodiments, the plate comprises at least one longitudinal slot separating at least one posterior portion of the plate into two branches, with at least one branch comprising at least one withdrawal stop configured to retain the device in the implant.
Vertebral body placement and method for spanning a space formed upon removal of a vertebral body
A vertebral body replacement includes first and second end plates, and a compliant connector section between the end plates having one or more helical cuts to provide limited compliance between the end plates. The compliant connector section can be provided in a separate spacer that fits between the end plates or directly in one or more of the end plates. The adjoining end plate surfaces, and/or adjoining surfaces of the spacer, include a rotational interlock to inhibit rotational motion between the surfaces and allow a modular stacking assembly of the vertebral body replacement to accommodate a wide range of patients.
Methods and techniques for tibial implant placement
Methods, techniques and apparatuses are disclosed including exemplary methods of performing a knee arthroplasty of the tibia. One exemplary method can include determining at least a depth of a distal fixation feature of a tibial implant, and forming a metaphyseal recess in a proximal portion of the tibia. The recess can be configured to receive the distal fixation feature therein and can be sized to exceed at least the depth of the distal fixation feature such that when a distal surface of the tibial implant contacts a proximal surface of the proximal portion of the tibia and the distal fixation feature is received in the metaphyseal recess, a gap remains between the distal fixation feature and one or more surfaces that form a portion of the metaphyseal recess.

The present invention relates to various embodiments of anchoring devices for intervertebral implants, intervertebral implant and implantation of instrumentation, sharing the characteristic to cooperate with the anchoring device (1) comprising a body comprising at least one curve, rigid plate (10) elongated along a longitudinal axis (L) so that its front end enters at least one vertebra while its rear end remains in the passage (21) of the implant (2) by pressing said implant (2) against said vertebra with at least one retaining stop (14), the device (1) being characterized in that the plate (10) comprises at least one longitudinal slot (11) separating at least one posterior portion of the plate (10) into two branches (12, 13) which at least one comprises at least one withdrawal stop (15) configured to retain the device (1) in the implant (2).
Anchoring device for a spinal implant, spinal implant and implantation instrumentation
Anchoring devices for rachidian implants, implants, surgical instruments, and surgical systems and methods are disclosed. In some embodiments, an anchor comprises a stiff plate with a longitudinal axis, configured for penetration of its anterior end into a vertebral surface while its posterior end remains engaged with the implant. An implant may include a locking mechanism for the anchor. An anchor may include an abutment configured to abut a complementary abutment of an implant. In some configurations, inserting an anchor in a passage of an implant may displace a locking mechanism, which may resile and lock the anchor in the implant with complementary abutments of the anchor and implant abutting.
