A combination of a floor cleaner and a cleaning tray. At least a portion of a base of the floor cleaner is received by a reservoir of the cleaning tray. The floor cleaner further including an upright portion movable between an inclined use position and an upright storage position. The brushroll is powered by a brushroll motor. The brushroll motor includes a control circuit that controls the brushroll. The control circuit has a first switch that is open when the floor cleaner is in the upright position and closed when the floor cleaner is in the inclined use position. The second switch is in parallel with the first switch. The second switch is opened in response to the portion of the base being removed from the cleaning tray and the second switch is closed when the portion of the base is in the cleaning tray.

The paintbrush cleaning device comprises a concave soap tray having a cleaning brush at one end within the soap tray wherein the soap tray is configured to hold a soap for cleaning a paintbrush and wherein the cleaning brush is configured to scrape paint from bristles of the paintbrush. An optional cleaning comb is also described.

The ultrasonic or megasonic vibration causes the particles to dislodge from the brush element into the first cleaning liquid. The particles contaminate the first cleaning liquid.

A cosmetic brush fixing apparatus includes: an outer tubular body, a fixing ring, and a retainer connecting the outer tubular body with the fixing ring. The fixing ring is connected with a silicone disc which is formed with an insertion opening for mounting a cosmetic brush. A technical key point is that the fixing apparatus is for securing a hand-held part of the cosmetic brush, by using a motor to drive the fixing apparatus to rotate, bristles on the cosmetic brush are driven to rotate, which facilitates the cleaning of the cosmetic brush. By use of cutting grooves formed in the silicone disc, it can adapt to most of cosmetic brushes. Limiting grooves can make a circle center of a cross-section of the cosmetic brush and a circle center of the silicone disc basically coincide with each other when the cosmetic brush is inserted into the silicone disc.
