COMPRESSION LEG SUPPORT
20170087001 · 2017-03-30 ·

A leg support that attaches to a user's leg and extends below the user's foot, where stepping on the portion below the user's foot causes the portion around the user's upper leg to tighten. This allows the leg support and the user's leg to bear the user's weight with the user's foot remaining untouched. When the user takes his or her weight off of the leg support, the portion around the user's upper leg loosens for the user's comfort. The leg support insures that there is zero pressure on the bottom of the user's foot and all of the user's weight and vertical shear pressure is converted into horizontal compression pressure around the user's leg.

The leg protector according to an example embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a protection part formed to surround at least a portion of a user's leg; a bottom plate part formed integrally with the protection part and configured to support a user's foot; and a midsole provided below the bottom plate part, wherein at least one hole is formed in the bottom plate part, a protrusion portion is formed in the midsole at a position corresponding to the at least one hole, and the protrusion portion of the midsole is configured to be inserted into the at least one hole of the bottom plate part so that the bottom plate part and the midsole are coupled to each other.

BENT KNEE SPLINT
20250127645 · 2025-04-24 ·

A novel temporary knee-splint is disclosed herein. The invention provides an apparatus to immobilize a knee joint following an acute injury in order to maintain the stability of the knee. The knee-splint allows for a variable angle of knee flexion in order to increase comfort. The preferred embodiment of the knee-splint is formed from a thermoplastic polymer and is secured when in use via straps having a hook and loop arrangement. Anchor bars, also secured by the same straps, are used to maintain the desired angle of knee flexion when in use.

An erection-facilitating sleeve for counteracting the effects of erectile dysfunction. The erection-facilitating sleeve includes two open ends at each distal end spaced apart by a plurality of inflatable, semi-rigid passages that extend in a braided, or crisscross, configuration from the base to the top of the sleeve. The sleeve is inserted onto the penis and is made of a resilient material that wraps tightly around the sex organ of a user. The semi-rigid passages are of a predetermined material and thickness so that a user's sex organ maintains at least partially erect even while suffering from erectile dysfunction.

Pressurized liquid cast
09545327 · 2017-01-17 ·

A pressurized fluid cast for stabilizing a broken bone of a patient includes a sleeve having an inner wall and an outer wall with a fluid cavity between the inner and outer walls. The outer wall has at least one access port established therethrough. The sleeve is configured to be placed at a limb of a patient such that the inner wall circumscribes the limb and is disposed at least partially along the limb, with the fluid cavity and the outer wall being radially outward of the inner wall. The sleeve is adaptable to accommodate a particular patient injury and limb. Fluid is provided within the fluid cavity and is pressurized to a selected pressure to apply substantially uniform pressure at the limb of the patient. An outer protective shell may be provided at least partially around the sleeve to limit puncturing of the sleeve.

Sock And Method For Creating A Substantial Squeezing Pressure On One Or More Individual Toes Of A Wearer
20170007465 · 2017-01-12 ·

A sock has individual toe pockets attached to a foot portion of the sock receiving the toes of a wearer which are elastically stretchable to exert a substantial squeezing pressure on an inserted toe sufficient to prevent swelling of a toe as after surgery thereon or to improve blood circulation to the toes. Optionally, splint pockets are attached on the outside of one or more of the toe pockets.

Multi-axis adjustable splint

A multi-axis adjustable splint for treating the fracture of bones includes a rail body that has a longitudinal axis. The splint further includes a fixed clamp assembly coupled to the rail body for securing at least one first bone screw in a first desired orientation. The fixed clamp assembly is translationally fixed relative to the rail body. The adjustable splint further includes a movable clamp assembly movably coupled to the rail body for securing at least one second bone screw in a second desired orientation. The movable clamp assembly is translatable along the longitudinal axis of the rail body. Both the fixed clamp assembly and the movable clamp assembly are each independently adjustable about three axes of rotation relative to the rail body.
