PACKAGED BODY ADHERING ABSORBENT ARTICLE
A packaged feminine care absorbent article has an absorbent article with an absorbent structure and a shell. The absorbent structure is configured for disposition adjacent a female wearer's vaginal region. The shell is configured for supporting the absorbent structure at the vaginal region. The shell has a body-facing surface and a garment-facing surface. The body-facing surface has an adhesive thereon for adhering the shell directly to the wearer. The absorbent structure is attached directly to the garment-facing surface. The absorbent article is configurable between a packaged configuration and a use configuration. The absorbent structure is folded longitudinally about at least one transverse fold line and transversely about at least one longitudinal fold line in the packaged configuration. A portion of the shell overlies a portion of the absorbent structure in the packaged configuration.
EXTRA-PROTECTION PADS AND RELATED METHODS
Extra-protection fins and pads, and methods of making and using extra-protection fins and pads are disclosed. The extra-protection fins and pads of the present invention comprise a first triangular face, a second triangular face attached and/or connected to the first triangular face at an angle thereby forming a front apex and a top apex, wherein the fins are configured such that the front apex catches and/or absorbs the menstrual and/or other vaginal fluids first, and the extra-protection fin fills backwards toward the top apex, thus preventing unwanted, embarrassing and annoying leakage onto clothing or bedding during periods of heavy flow and/or when lying down. The extra-protection fin may also comprise a third triangular face attached and/or connected to the first and second triangular faces, wherein a vertex of the third triangular face contacts and/or is connected to the first and second triangular faces at the top apex.

Absorbent personal care articles having longitudinally oriented layers in discrete portions
An absorbent article is provided. The article includes at least one additional layer non-integral with the absorbent layer, and positioned upon the absorbent layer. The additional layer includes at least first and second discrete portions positioned along the longitudinal direction. The at least first and second discrete portions are spaced apart from each other along the longitudinal direction. The portions are constructed of the same base sheet material and the first portion at least partially defines an opening therein with an opening inner edge. The second portion is of a shape mated to fit along its periphery edge, at least partially within the opening. The second portion is of a shape complementary with the opening shape. Edges of the first and second portion are complementary, the inner edge of the first portion being complementary with the periphery edge of the second portion.
DEVICE FOR TREATING THE FEMALE UROGENITAL TRACT
The invention relates to a device for treating the female urogenital tract and is characterized in that the device comprises a covering device (1) for the urogenital region at least in the region of the vulva, the vagina and the urethra; and in that the covering device is treated substantially fully with an antimicrobial and/or antiseptic substance preventing the migration of bacteria into the urogenital tract.

MENSTRUATION PAD WITH INTERGLUTEAL INSERT
A menstruation pad for absorbing exudate from a user, including exudate which might otherwise flow into the intergluteal cleft of the user includes a base panel comprising a flexible material and an absorbent body mounted atop the base panel. A back insertion member is mounted to the absorbent body and is shaped to insert into the intergluteal cleft. Buttock engagement flaps are coupled to the base panel and are positioned on opposite sides of the back insertion member. The buttock engagement flaps are thin such that their outlines are minimized when viewed through the undergarment.
