ABSORBENT PADS

An absorbent pad configured to be positioned on a surface is provided. The absorbent pad is configured to absorb and contain bodily exudates and improve skin health for babies. The absorbent pad comprises a central longitudinal axis, a central lateral axis, a liquid permeable topsheet, a liquid impermeable backsheet, and an absorbent core disposed intermediate the liquid permeable topsheet and the liquid impermeable backsheet. The absorbent pad comprises a single pair of cuffs extending at least partially intermediate a first end edge and a second end edge of the absorbent pad. The cuffs are each configured to extend upwardly relative to the topsheet. The absorbent pad comprises a wetness guard positioned on a first side of the central lateral axis and having a portion positioned proximate to the first end edge. The wetness guard is positioned over at least a portion of the topsheet and crosses the central longitudinal axis.

Absorbent article with non-uniform dimensioned side barriers

An absorbent article has non-uniform dimensioned side barrier features and includes a lower structure. The article also includes an upper structure in fluid communication with the lower structure. The upper structure is adjacent and bonded to the lower structure. Embossment channels or embossment features and said side barrier feature lateral-most edges define side barrier features having either non-uniform lateral width dimensions or a combination of non-uniform lateral width and non-uniform height dimensions along the longitudinal direction of said article.

Absorbent article including containment flaps

An absorbent article having a first and a second containment flap each having a stem, an inner flap projection, and an outer flap projection. The absorbent article can include a first and a second folding line for packaging each being substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis. The first and second containment flaps can be positioned in the absorbent article such that the distal end of the outer flap projections can be positioned laterally inside of each folding line, the distal ends of the inner flap projections can be positioned laterally outside of each folding line, or such that the first fold line extends through at least a portion of the inner or the outer flap projection of the first containment flap and the second fold line extends through at least a portion of the inner or the outer flap projection of the second containment flap.

A double gusset cloth diaper including an inner surface and an outer surface forming an hourglass shape, having a groin area proximate a center line of the reusable diaper and defining at least one recess therebetween. A fluid absorbent material is removably located in the recess through the opening. A first gusset is attached to the reusable diaper to form a first seal between the inner surface and the legs of the user. A second gusset is attached to the reusable diaper proximate the first gusset. The gussets are formed of an elastic material attached to the wrong side of the inner surface in a channel formed by stitching the inner surface to form channels.

ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH EMBOSSED SHAPING ELEMENTS

An absorbent article includes a fluid permeable topsheet, a backsheet and an absorbent core. The absorbent core includes a first absorbent structure located between the topsheet and a second absorbent structure, the second absorbent structure being located between the first absorbent structure and the backsheet. The second absorbent structure includes a central embossed shaping element including first and second central embossed shaping portions. The first and second central embossed shaping portions extend between a longitudinal centerline and first and second side edges, respectively. An outer embossed shaping element is provided in at least either of the topsheet or the first absorbent structure. The outer embossed shaping element includes a first and a second outer embossed shaping portion. The first and second outer embossed shaping portions are, in a transversal direction, provided outwards with respect to the first central embossed shaping portion and the second central embossed shaping portion, respectively.

Disposable hygiene article

Disposable hygiene article having a liquid-permeable topsheet, a liquid-impermeable backsheet and an absorbent core. The article is releasably attached to a garment and has liquid side barriers arranged substantially along longitudinal edges of the absorbent core. The article has a front portion, oriented upwards during use, having a tapering shape with a maximum width of the front portion, measured between first left and right edge points, and a minimum width, measured between second left and right edge points. A first imaginary connection line connects the first right edge point to the second right edge point and a second imaginary connection line connects the first left edge point to the second left edge point. The first and second imaginary connection lines extend in an angle ranging between 60 and 90 with the transverse direction T and have a length of at least 15% of the full length of the article.

Disposable hygiene article

Disposable hygiene article is provided including a liquid-permeable topsheet, a liquid-impermeable backsheet, an absorbent core and liquid side barriers arranged substantially along longitudinal edges of the absorbent core and provided to reduce side-edge leakage. The coloured indications are provided on the article along the liquid side barriers to indicate the presence of the liquid side barriers to a user, the coloured indications being provided underneath at least one layer of translucent material so as to be visible through the at least one layer of translucent material while avoiding direct contact with the user's skin.
