ABSORBENT PRODUCT COMPRISING INLET MATERIAL
An absorbent product includes a liquid pervious topsheet, a liquid impervious backsheet and an absorbent core enclosed between the liquid pervious topsheet and liquid impervious backsheet. The absorbent product has in its longitudinal direction a crotch part and two end parts. The absorbent product includes at least in its crotch part an inlet material having a plurality of openings. The plurality of openings in the inlet material are formed from a plurality of slits extending in the transversal direction of the absorbent product by expanding the continuous inlet material in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent product. The liquid inlet material has in its transversal direction of the absorbent product a central region and two edge regions. The openings are located in the central region so that the central region of the material with the plurality of openings has a lesser degree of elasticity than the edge regions.
Individual Packaging for and Absorbent Article
The present invention relates to a package for an absorbent article with a permeable topsheet and an impermeable backsheet. The package comprises a flexible gas impermeable sheet on which the absorbent article is arranged such that the impermeable backsheet of the absorbent article is arranged on the flexible sheet. The flexible sheet is bent by describing a first section, a second section and a third section, the first section being folded over the second section such that upon folding of the absorbent article, the topsheet is arranged on itself, and the third section is folded over the first section. The longitudinal edges of the folded flexible sheet are sealed continuously by heat sealing, and the transverse edge is sealed continuously by adhesive seal.
Assorbent Assembly
The invention pertains to an absorbent article (10) comprising: a liquid pervious topsheet (14) consisting essentially of natural fibers, a liquid impervious backsheet (16) comprising a plastic material, an absorbent core (12) arranged between said topsheet (14) and backsheet (16) comprising absorbent material, wherein the topsheet (14) and the backsheet (16) are attached via attachment means to one another in a bonding region (13), said bonding region (13) being positioned along the periphery of the absorbent article (10). According to the present disclosure, said bonding region (13) is substantially free of adhesive.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE COMPRISING A CHANNEL WITH VARYING BOND STRENGTH
A personal hygiene absorbent article (20) having at least one elongated, absorbent material-free channel (26) having a front end (62) and a back end (66) and a middle point (64). The channel includes a channel bond (27) between the core wrap top layer (45) and the core wrap bottom layer (46). The channel bond strength varies along the length of the channel so that the bond strength in an intermediate section (102) is weaker than the bond strength in a front section (100) and a crotch section (104). The bond strength is measured in minutes for each section according to the Static Peel Force Time Test disclosed herein.
ABSORBENT PADS
An absorbent pad configured to be positioned on a surface is provided. The absorbent pad is configured to absorb and contain bodily exudates and improve skin health for babies. The absorbent pad comprises a central longitudinal axis, a central lateral axis, a liquid permeable topsheet, a liquid impermeable backsheet, and an absorbent core disposed intermediate the liquid permeable topsheet and the liquid impermeable backsheet. The absorbent pad comprises a single pair of cuffs extending at least partially intermediate a first end edge and a second end edge of the absorbent pad. The cuffs are each configured to extend upwardly relative to the topsheet. The absorbent pad comprises a wetness guard positioned on a first side of the central lateral axis and having a portion positioned proximate to the first end edge. The wetness guard is positioned over at least a portion of the topsheet and crosses the central longitudinal axis.
DIAPER CORE WITH TRIPLE LEAK GUARD
The present invention generally relates to a diaper core, specifically a triple leak guard diaper core (1) for infant and adult, comprising: a center core (10) comprising liquid absorbing material (12) and a plurality of hollow sections (14) disposed on the core (10) longitudinally, allowing the core (10) to bend upward or forming a U-channel, and a center core top surface (CCTS) is provided facing a liquid discharge source (16); at least one layer of bottom core wrap (16) encapsulates the center core (10) with a bottom core gap (BCG) disposed on the center core top surface (CCTS); at least one layer of top core wrap (18) is disposed on the bottom core gap (BCG) and the bottom core wrap (16); and at least one layer of acquisition distribution layer (20) is disposed on the top core wrap (18).
ABSORBENT PAD FOR A GARMENT
The present disclosure generally relates to an absorbent pad for use in a garment. The absorbent pad includes: a liquid impermeable barrier layer; a functional layer attached to the barrier layer, the functional layer comprising a liquid absorbent component; a liquid impermeable peripheral sealing element bonded to peripheries of the functional layer and barrier layer; and a peripheral attaching element having a first portion and a second portion, the first portion bonded to the peripheral sealing element. The second portion of the peripheral attaching element is detached from the peripheral sealing element and is arranged to be attached to a fabric body of the garment, thereby attaching the absorbent pad to the garment.

The present disclosure generally relates to an absorbent pad for use in a garment and a garment having the absorbent pad. The absorbent pad includes a liquid impermeable barrier layer; a functional assembly attached to the barrier layer; and a peripheral assembly attached to a periphery of the functional assembly, at least part of the peripheral assembly being liquid impermeable. The functional assembly includes an absorbent layer attached to the barrier layer, the absorbent layer for absorbing liquid; and a wicking layer attached to the absorbent layer. The wicking layer is arranged to face towards a skin of a user when in use. The wicking layer transfers liquid to the absorbent layer. The wicking layer and the absorbent layer are attached at a plurality of discrete points between them to facilitate liquid transfer from the wicking layer to the absorbent layer via areas around the discrete points.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE HAVING NONWOVEN LATERAL ZONES
An absorbent article for collecting bodily fluid having a topsheet, a backsheet and an absorbent structure. The article may include a central fluid acquisition zone, a first lateral zone situated on one side of the central zone and a second lateral zone situated on the opposite side of the central zone, wherein the first and second lateral zones are formed by a nonwoven material.
REUSABLE SANITARY AND INCONTINENCE ARTICLE
The present invention relates primarily to a reusable sanitary or incontinence article having a multilayer structure comprising an inner layer including a gusset area nearest to a wearer's skin for taking up body fluid from the wearer and/or transporting the body fluid away from the wearer; an outer layer including a sealing portion for providing a barrier for the body fluid and side edge portions; an absorbent core between the inner layer and the outer layer; and a fluid tight joint connecting the inner layer, the outer layer and optionally the absorbent core to each other along at least a part of a perimeter of the gusset area; wherein the sealing portion is composed of a textile coated with an adhering coating material that forms a contiguous, impervious coating extending at least over the gusset area into the side edge portions, and wherein the side edge portions extend from opposite sides outside the gusset area, are folded over side edges of and connected to the inner layer forming a fluid tight joint between the inner layer and the outer layer along side edges of the gusset area.
