UNDERPANTS-TYPE DISPOSABLE DIAPER
The present invention is intended to improve the dynamic fit of a crotch portion. The foregoing issue is solved in such a manner that a vertical stretchable part vertically extending and contracting in length is provided in a vertical intermediate portion of an absorber in a front body, an outer body of the front body has a portion overlapping at least the vertical stretchable part, width-direction both side sections of the portion, and a waist opening-side area of the portion and the sections, lifting elastic members having a contraction force of lifting a portion of the vertical stretchable part on a rear side of a front end toward width-direction both sides and an obliquely upward side at least when the diaper is worn are provided in the outer body of the front body on closer to lateral sides than to a width-direction intermediate portion of the absorber, and the vertical stretchable part vertically extends and contracts in length by elastic extension and contraction of the lifting elastic member.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH POCKET PROVIDING ENHANCED CONTROL
An absorbent article (10) can include a pocket (64) disposed in the front waist region 12. The pocket (64) can include a first side edge (70), a second side edge (72), an upper lateral edge (74), and a lower lateral edge (76). The pocket (64) can be closed with respect to the absorbent assembly (44) at least at the first side edge (70) and the second side edge (72) and can be open with respect to the absorbent assembly (44) at least at the lower lateral edge (76). In one embodiment, at least a portion of the upper lateral edge (74) can be closer to the front waist edge (22) of the absorbent article (10) than is the first end edge (40) of the absorbent body (34).
ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH PARTIALLY ENCLOSED WAIST CONTAINMENT MEMBER AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THEREOF
An absorbent article (10, 110) can include a waist containment member (54) with a first longitudinal side edge (72), a second longitudinal side edge (74), a proximal portion (76), an intermediate portion (77), and a distal portion (78). The proximal portion (76) can be coupled to the chassis (11) of the absorbent article (10, 110). The intermediate portion (77) can be free to move independent of the proximal portion (76) and the distal portion (78) and free to move independent of the body facing surface (19) of the chassis (11) to provide a containment pocket (82) for containing body exudates. The distal portion (78) can be disposed underneath the intermediate portion (77) when the absorbent article (10, 110) is in the stretched, laid-flat configuration. The waist containment member (54) can also include a first lateral tack-down region (83a) and a second lateral tack-down region (83b).
DISPOSABLE ARTICLE WITH REINFORCED HANDLE
A pant-like absorbent articles having handles on side panels of the article for ease of removal and donning of the absorbent garment is disclosed. The article includes a front waist region, a back waist region, and a chassis extending longitudinally between and interconnecting the front and back waist regions attached by at least one side panel. Formed within the side panel is at least one handle. The handle includes an aperture formed through the side panel. The handle further includes a reinforcing material operatively joined to the at least one side panel adjacent distal side edges of the aperture.
UNDERPANTS-TYPE DISPOSABLE DIAPER
The present invention is intended to improve a fit to the lower part of a gluteal region. The foregoing issue is solved by an underpants-type disposable diaper in which an outer body is formed by stacking an elastic sheet layer between a first sheet layer and a second sheet layer, when the elastic sheet layer is extended in a width direction, the first sheet layer and the second sheet layer are joined together directly or indirectly at a large number of dot-like joint portions arranged at intervals left in the width-direction and front-back direction, cover parts of the outer body of a back body have peripheral edge regions and surrounded regions surrounded by the peripheral edge regions, and the arrangement density of the dot-like joint portions in the peripheral edge regions is higher than the arrangement density of the dot-like joint portions in the surrounded regions.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH PARTIAL LAMINATE WAIST ELASTIC MEMBER
An absorbent article (10) can include a waist elastic member (50, 150, 250). In one embodiment, the waist elastic member (50, 150, 250) can include a first longitudinal zone (92), a second longitudinal zone (94), and a middle longitudinal zone (93). The first longitudinal zone (92) can include a first elastic member (76) disposed between two layers of material, the second longitudinal zone (94) can include a second elastic member (78) disposed between two layers of material, and the middle longitudinal zone (93) can include less layers of materials than each of the first longitudinal zone (92) and the second longitudinal zone (94).
ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH ACCESSIBLE POCKET
An absorbent article (10) can include a pocket (64) disposed in the front waist region 12. The pocket (64) can include a first side edge (70), a second side edge (72), an upper lateral edge (74), and a lower lateral edge (76). The pocket (64) can be closed with respect to the absorbent assembly (36) at least at the first side edge (70) and the second side edge (72) and can be open with respect to the absorbent assembly (36) at least at the lower lateral edge (76). The pocket (64) can be configured such that it has improved accessibility for a caregiver.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH SELECTIVELY POSITIONED WAIST CONTAINMENT MEMBER HAVING AN IMPROVED WAIST SEAL
An absorbent article can include a chassis including an absorbent body. The chassis can include a body facing surface. The absorbent article can also include a waist containment member. The waist containment member can include a proximal portion coupled to the body facing surface of the chassis and a distal portion that includes a distal edge. The proximal portion includes proximal portion elastic members and the distal portion can include distal portion elastic members. The distal portion can be free to move with respect to the chassis when the absorbent article is in a relaxed configuration.
Absorbent article with a waistband and leg cuffs having gathers
A disposable absorbent article comprising a first waist region, a second waist region, a crotch region disposed between the first waist region and second waist region; a first waist edge and a second waist edge; and a first longitudinal edge and a second longitudinal edge; the disposable absorbent article comprising a waistband and a leg gasketing system, wherein the waistband has a first gather count and the leg gasketing system has a second gather count such that the ratio of the first gather count to the second gather count is from about 0.75 to about 1.25.
Disposable Diaper And Cushion Sheet
To maintain, in a wide state, the spaces in a ventilation channel formed when a waist expansion member contracts. This disposable diaper has formed therein, on one or both of a front part (1) and a rear part (2), a cushion part (40). The cushion part (40) includes: an inner sheet (41); an outer sheet (42); one or a plurality of waist expansion members (43); and a cushion forming sheet (44). In a state where the waist expansion member (43) is stretched in the width direction, the member is secured between the inner sheet (41) and the outer sheet (42). The cushion forming sheet (44) overlaps one or both of the inner sheet (41) and the outer sheet (42), and is joined thereto so that in the width direction joining portions (51) and non-joining portions (52) are alternatingly continuous. The joining portions (51) are formed by joining-lines (53) which are straight and extend in the longitudinal direction and at least two columns of which are side by side. The space (second space (D2)) between the joining-line columns in one joining portion is narrower than the space (first space (D1)) between adjacent joining portions.
