An absorbent article, such as, a garment-like absorbent article, can have a front region, a back region, and a crotch region extending between and interconnecting the front region and the back region. Each of the front region and the back region can have an elastic material. The absorbent article can have an absorbent core wherein a portion of the absorbent core can be located in the crotch region, a portion of the absorbent core can be located in a portion of the front region, and a portion of the absorbent core can be located in a portion of the back region. Within each of the front region and the back region, an overlapping region can exist where the absorbent core is in an overlapping configuration with the elastic material within the front region and the back region.

In one embodiment, an array of packages may comprise two or more different sizes of disposable absorbent articles. The Product Waist-to-Side Silhouette of a second absorbent article may be equal to or greater than a Product Waist-to-Side Silhouette of a first absorbent article. And, an Array Average Product Waist-to-Side Silhouette of first and second packages of the array may be from about 1.7 to about 6.0.

A disposable absorbent article may include a chassis that includes a topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet; and a leg gasketing system. The leg gasketing system may include an inner cuff and an outer cuff; the inner cuff may include an inner cuff folded edge and an inner cuff material edge and the outer cuff may include an outer cuff folded edge and an outer cuff material edge such that the web of material is folded laterally inward to form the outer cuff folded edge and folded laterally outward to form the inner cuff folded edge, and the leg gasketing system further including a leg gasketing system pocket with an opening on an inboard longitudinal edge of the leg gasketing system pocket. The disposable absorbent article also includes at least one channel in the absorbent core.

Disclosed is a pant type absorbent article having a back elastic belt comprising a waist guard portion extending towards the crotch region from a closed base line towards an open edge, wherein the waist guard portion is formed by a first inner waist fold extending from a second inner waist fold, the second inner waist fold extending from the inner sheet, and a first elastic member bonded between the first inner waist fold and the second inner waist fold, wherein the waist guard portion is partially bonded to the remainder of the elastic belt from which the first and second inner waist folds extend to define a pocket.

An absorbent article may be constructed by printing graphics on webs used to form discrete components that are joined together at seams to form the absorbent article.

A garment-like absorbent article can have a front region, a back region, and a central region extending between and connecting the front region and the back region. The front region and the back region of the absorbent article can be formed from a combination of elastic materials. The combination of the elastic materials can be asymmetrically configured about the absorbent article to provide an improved fit of the absorbent article to the body of the wearer as well as to provide the wearer with an absorbent article that resembles traditional woven underwear.

In one embodiment, an array of packages may comprise two or more different sizes of disposable absorbent articles. An absorbent article can have a topsheet layer, a liquid impermeable layer, and an absorbent core positioned between the topsheet layer and the liquid impermeable layer. The absorbent article can further include an exudate management layer in fluid communication with the topsheet layer. In various embodiments, the exudate management layer can be positioned on a body facing surface of the topsheet layer. In various embodiments, the exudate management layer can be positioned between the topsheet layer and the absorbent core. The exudate management layer has a first component which defines an opening for direct passage of body exudates into the absorbent core. The exudate management layer has a second component which at least partially overlaps the first component of the exudate management layer and further extends in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article in a direction towards the posterior region of the absorbent article.
