CLEANING AND DISINFECTING STICK FOR PIERCED HOLES IN THE SKIN IN WHICH JEWELRY AND PIERCINGS ARE INSERTED AND WORN
Cleaning and disinfection stick is designed in the manner of a nylon toothpick. In contrast to a toothpick, it is arcuate over its length, wherein straight embodiments are also possible. It tapers from its remaining diameter into a fine tip in at least one of its ends regions. Adjacent to the fine tip, the stick can include a round brush. Alternatively, it can also include a felt-like, textile or fluffy surface or be provided with a rod-like paper or plastic attachment. After removing a piercing, it can be inserted, leading with the fine tip into the skin hole and subsequently be pushed further into the skin hole until its cleaning body is inserted therein. It is then gently moved to and fro or rolled to and fro about its axis and pulled out again.
ORAL CARE AGENT DISPENSING SYSTEM
An oral care implement for dispensing an oral care agent includes a housing, reservoir therein containing an oral care fluid, and an electrical circuit comprising first and second electrodes connected to an onboard power source. Each electrode is in contact with the oral care fluid in the housing. An actuator, operably coupled to the power source, is configured to both selectively energize the circuit and activate dispensing of the oral care fluid. An electrical charge is applied to the oral care fluid by activating the actuator when dispensing the oral care fluid. When the fluid comprises a peroxide based tooth whitening agent, the dispensed fluid pH is increased by the electrical charge which improves the efficacy of the whitener. In one embodiment, the implement is a modular system including a powered base unit and one or more interchangeable cartridges each having a reservoir containing an oral care fluid.
Brush apparatus
A brush apparatus has a handle, a first brush, a second brush and a third brush. The handle is located in between the first brush and the second brush, the handle is located in between the first brush and the third brush, the second brush and the third brush are located adjacent to each other, each of the first brush, the second brush and the third brush is laterally connected with the handle, the first brush has a plurality of first bristles, the plurality of first bristles are distributed in a hexagonal array, the second brush has a plurality of second bristles, the plurality of second bristles are distributed in a partial-radial array, the third brush has a plurality of third bristles, and the plurality of third bristles are distributed in a linear array.
SINGLE DOSE PACKAGE WITH APPLICATOR
A single dose package having a material chamber frangibly separable from a handle and concentric partial or semi-cylinders holding an applicator. An outer partial cylinder placed over an inner semi-cylinder encloses and holds an applicator. Moving the handle relative to the material chamber separates the handle from the material chamber to access a material contained within the material chamber. Different sizes and shaped plugs selectively adjust the volume of the material chamber.
PORTABLE HYGIENE DEVICE
A personal hygiene device includes a bottle body configured to hold a fluid, and an extension tube, connected to the bottle body through a connector. In some embodiments, the extension tube includes a brush and an orifice configured to release the fluid. In other embodiments, the extension tube is designed to be inserted into a body cavity and does not include a brush.
Bowl Stabilization System
A bowl stabilization system where a rigid bowl includes a plurality of magnets inserted into the base of the bowl. The bowl can be attached magnetically to a flat ferrous metal panel. A double-sided adhesive panel attaches the ferrous metal panel to any flat working surface, including a low walled tray. When a person wipes the bristles of a brush onto the edge of the bowl, the bowl remains flat to the ground plane because of the magnetic attraction of the metal panel to the magnets on the underside of the bowl. A concave cutout portion on the bowls upper edge allows the handle of a hair coloring brush to remain in a fixed position as the bristles are resting in the bowls interior bottom surface.
COUPLING FOR PERSONAL CARE DEVICE
A first component (16) for a personal care device comprises a first coupling interface for allowing the first component (16) to be releasably and repeatably coupled to a second component for the personal care device via a second coupling interface of the second component. The first coupling interface comprising a portion of material (38) that can change shape with changes in temperature to couple the first coupling interface to the second coupling interface. The portion of the material (38; 60) is configured to deform during coupling and uncoupling, and to revert towards an original shape after the first coupling interface and the second coupling interface have been coupled or uncoupled. The invention also provides a personal care device (10) comprising the first component (16; 12), and the second component (12; 16) having the second coupling interface.
END EFFECTORS AND SYSTEMS INCLUDING COLORIMETRIC WEAR INDICATOR
End effectors and systems including end effectors configured to provide visible indicia of a wear state of the end effectors are described.
UNIT AND MULTI DOSE APPLICATORS AND METHODS OF USE
A dental application device is provided having a handle having a first end, a second end, and a containment chamber disposed within the handle. The device has a dental solution disposed within the containment chamber, a receiver tip coupled to the handle at the first end, a material passage within the receiver tip that forms a conduit between the first end and a receiving end, a frangible seal that separates the containment chamber from the material passage, and a piercing cannula in fluid communication with an applicator tip and having a distal piercing end extending toward the frangible seal. The piercing cannula is moveable between a first position and a second position. When in the first position, the piercing end is spaced apart from the frangible seal, and in the second position, the piercing end punctures the frangible seal and fluidly connects the dental solution with the applicator tip.
END EFFECTORS AND SYSTEMS INCLUDING A HAPTIC OR AUDIBLE WEAR INDICATOR
End effectors and systems including end effectors configured to provide audible and/or haptic indicia of fatigue failure of springs disposed in the end effectors are described.
