ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH EXTENSIBLE EARS
An absorbent article has a liquid pervious topsheet, a liquid impervious backsheet, an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and backsheet; first and second opposing longitudinal side edges, a front waist region and a back waist region; and a first and second back ear extending outwardly from the first and longitudinal side edges in the back waist region, respectively. The first and second back ears have an engineering strain greater than about 8% at about or below 2 N of force when measured according to the Back Ear Extension Test, and a roughness Ra lower than about 300 .Math.m when measured according to the Roughness Test.
STRETCH NONWOVENS AND FILMS
Elastic polymer compositions that provide stretch recovery to absorbent fabrics and products produced from these absorbent fabrics and methods for their production are provided.
Stretchable Laminate, Locking Member, And Sanitary Material
To provide a stretchable laminate, a locking member, and a sanitary material that can be easily extended at a low stress as well as can enhance the strength. A stretchable laminate 10 according to one embodiment includes a non-woven fabric 14, an elastomer layer 13 laminated on the non-woven fabric 14, and a knitted fabric 15 laminated on the elastomer layer 13. A locking member according to one embodiment is a locking member that is attached to a sanitary material, the locking member including a stretchable laminate 10 including a knitted fabric 15 laminated on an elastomer layer 13, and an engaging portion provided on an end portion of the stretchable laminate 10 opposite to the sanitary material.
Absorbent article
An absorbent article includes: an absorbent main, an abdominal-side band member having a central portion fixed to one end part in a vertical direction of the absorbent main body while covering the one end part from a non-skin side of the absorbent main body, and a back-side band member different from the abdominal-side band member. The back-side band member has a central portion fixed to an other end part in the vertical direction of the absorbent main body, while covering the other end part from the non-skin side of the absorbent main body. The back-side band member has a length in the vertical direction longer than the abdominal-side band member. Each of the abdominal-side and back-side band members has an elastic member. The abdominal-side band member and the absorbent main body overlap at an overlap portion, the overlap portion including at least a part where the elastic member is disconnected.
ELASTICIZED NONWOVEN LAMINATES
Elasticized nonwoven laminates including high recovery power polyurethane elastic fiber, articles of manufacture with these elasticized nonwoven laminates and methods for production of the elasticized laminates and articles of manufacture are provided.
Absorbent article having elastic belt
Disclosed is a wearable article continuous in a longitudinal direction and a transverse direction comprising an elastic belt region, a crotch region, a waist opening and two leg openings; wherein the elastic belt region is a laminate comprising an inner sheet made of nonwoven fiber, and an outer sheet made of nonwoven fiber, and a plurality of elastic bodies configured to stretch the elastic belt region in the transverse direction, wherein the article has a Compression Work index of at least about 70 gfcm and a Stretch Circumference Force of less than about 6.5N according to the measurements herein.
HYGIENIC ARTICLE WITH BACKSHEET ARRANGEMENT
A hygienic article including a topsheet, a backsheet having first and second end edges extending in a lateral direction of the article and first and second side edges extending in a longitudinal direction of the article, and first and second leg elastic members extending along the first and second side edges of the backsheet. The backsheet includes first and second leg elastic anchoring portions extending along the side edges of the backsheet, the first and second leg elastic anchoring portions including two layers of backsheet material, with the first and second leg elastic members being arranged between the two layers of backsheet material, the first and second leg elastic members terminating at a distance from the first end edge of the backsheet, first leg elastic free portions are arranged at the first end edge of the hygienic article.
Pant-type wearable article
A wearable article includes a front and back elastic belts, a crotch region, a waist opening, and leg openings. Each elastic belt is a laminate having an inner sheet, an outer sheet, and an elastic member. Elastic adhesive bonding continuously bonds the elastic member for at least about 10 mm in the direction of stretch adjacent the side edges of the belts. A discrete patterned adhesive bonding is applied to at least one of the inner and outer sheets to intermittently bond the inner and outer sheets. The discrete patterned adhesive bonding extends substantially along the transverse direction between the elastic adhesive bonding, and substantially along the longitudinal direction between the distal and proximal edges of the elastic belts. The same adhesive agent provides the elastic adhesive and discrete patterned adhesive bonding. Heat bonds form side seams, and the remainder of the laminate is free of heat bonds.
ELASTIC DIAPER ELEMENT
An elastic diaper element that includes an elastic layer (1) and at least one layer (2) made of a nonwoven. The elastic element has connection regions (5) between the elastic layer (1) and the non-woven layer (2). The connection regions (5) extend in a preferred direction. The non-woven layer (2) is wavy when the diaper element is in the unstretched condition in order to provide regions (6) as a reserve allowing stretching. The connection regions (5) have an oscillating shape along their extent.
ELASTIC NONWOVEN SHEET
The invention relates to elastically stretchable nonwoven sheets comprising an elastically stretchable nonwoven layer and a stretchable facing layer, and an in-line method for making such sheets.
