PATTERNED APERTURED NONWOVEN
The present disclosure relates to a nonwoven substrate comprising a plurality of apertures that form a pattern and define a plurality of discrete non-aperture zones. Each of the plurality of discrete non-aperture zones has a periphery formed by a continuous line of apertures, with adjacent apertures being spaced apart by an edge-to-edge distance of no more than 3 mm, while each of the plurality of discrete non-aperture zones is substantially free of apertures within the periphery. Particularly, the area ratio of such plurality of discrete non-aperture zones over the nonwoven substrate ranges from 60% to 90%, and at least some of said plurality of discrete non-aperture zones have an area of 100 mm.sup.2 or more.
Hygiene articles containing nanofibers
A hygiene article including a nonwoven web having nanofibers. The hygiene articles include diapers, training pants, adult incontinence pads, catamenials products, tampons, personal cleansing articles, and personal care articles. The nanofiber webs can be used as a barrier, wipe, or absorbent material. Particularly, the nanofiber web is used in a diaper as a barrier-on-core, outercover, and/or leg cuff. It may also be used as a wipe.
PRESSURE-EMBOSSING
A polyolefinic seepage protection layer in hygiene products with at least one layer having cavities. The layer includes a first area and at least one further area. The first area has a higher volume fraction of cavities than the further area.
Pant-type wearable article
Disclosed is a wearable article comprising front and back elastic belt regions and a crotch region between the front and back elastic belt regions; the front and back elastic belt regions each comprising a laminate, an elastic bonding continuously bonding an elastic member in the direction of stretch, and a vertical bonding applied to at least one of inner and outer sheets to intermittently bond the elastic member to at least one of the inner and outer sheets, the vertical bonding having a transverse dimension VG2 and spaced apart from each other with a transverse pitch VG1, wherein the outer sheet comprises a repeating pattern of apertures, the repeating pattern of apertures spaced apart from each other with a longitudinal pitch DF2, and spaced apart from each other with a transverse pitch DF1, wherein VG1 is greater than DF1, and wherein the repeating pattern of apertures have a Longitudinal Orientation.
STRETCH BREATHABLE PROTECTIVE ABSORBENT ARTICLE USING BILAMINATE
A disposable absorbent article of a brief or pull-up type incorporates a breathable laminate material composed of two layers. The laminate is an elastic material and may include non-elastic portions created by deactivating the material. The laminate material may be made breathable by the ultrasonic bonding process used to create the laminate. A third layer is adhered or bonded to the laminate and with leg elastics positioned between the laminate that the third layer. The absorbent article includes an absorbent assembly that overlaps with the non-elastic portions of the laminate.
WAIST ASSEMBLY HAVING APERTURED LAYER AND NON-APERTURED LAYER FOR ABSORBENT ARTICLES
An absorbent article having a front region, a back region, and a crotch region extending between and connecting the front region and the back region generally includes an absorbent assembly extending longitudinally between the front region and the back region, and a waist assembly attached to the absorbent assembly along the front region and the back region. The absorbent assembly includes an inner layer for facing a wearer, an outer layer for facing away from the wearer, and an absorbent structure disposed between the inner and outer layers. The waist assembly defines a waist opening of the absorbent article when the article is in a wear configuration, and includes an elastic laminate including a non-apertured body-facing layer, an apertured garment-facing layer, and an elastic layer disposed between the body-facing layer and the garment-facing layer.
CRIMPED FIBER SPUNBOND NONWOVEN WEBS / LAMINATES
Nonwoven webs/nonwoven laminates for use in absorbent articles are disclosed. The nonwoven laminate includes a first nonwoven web with continuous spunbond crimped fibers and a second web joined to the first nonwoven web. A plurality of apertures extend through at least one of the first nonwoven web or the second web. The nonwoven web includes a plurality of continuous spunbond crimped fibers wherein a plurality of apertures extend through the nonwoven web.
Absorbent article with klemm gradient and water repellent finishing
An absorbent member containing a hydrophobic material subjected to hydrophilic treatment, a plurality of through holes passing through the absorbent member in a thickness direction formed at a portion of the absorbent member in a target region (P). The absorbent member has a layer-stacked structure of a plurality of layers, stacked in the thickness direction. The Klemm water absorption height of a lower layer most proximal to the backsheet is higher than that of an upper layer most proximal to the topsheet. The backsheet contains a moisture permeable film including a plurality of microvoids, and having water repellent portions formed by water repellent finishing, on a portion in the target region (P) of a skin-facing surface of the moisture permeable film. A ratio of the total area of portions on which the water repellent finishing is performed to the area of the target region (P) is from 30% to 60%.
Three dimensional nonwoven and absorbent articles having the same
The present disclosure relates to a three dimensional nonwoven comprising a protruded area comprising a first area having a first light reflectance and a second area having a second light reflectance. The three dimensional nonwoven comprises a recess comprising a third area having a third light reflectance, wherein the first light reflectance is different from the second light reflectance, as measured according to Light Reflectance Test. The present disclosure also related to an absorbent article comprising the three dimensional nonwoven.
