ABSORBENT ARTICLES HAVING LAMINATES EXHIBITING HIGHLY RECOGNIZABLE PATTERNS AND VIBRANT GRAPHICS
An absorbent article having a topsheet, a backsheet, an absorbent core, and an outer cover material or a landing zone having an embossed pattern is provided. A garment-facing surface of the backsheet has one or more graphics. A portion of the embossed pattern overlaps a portion of the graphics. The portion of the graphics exhibits a first L*, a*, b* color value, when measured through a densified region of the embossed pattern. The portion of the one or more graphics exhibits a second, different L*, a*, b* color value, when measured through a non-densified region of the outer cover material. The garment-facing surface of the backsheet has a graphic-free area of about 5% to about 85%. The embossed pattern forms at least one and less than 40 recognizable, discrete indicia.
Sanitary pad for women
A sanitary napkin for women includes a permeable inner sheet, which comes into contact with the skin of a wearer to thus allow secretions to pass therethrough, an outer sheet fused to the inner sheet, and an absorption pad disposed between the inner sheet and the outer sheet to absorb the secretions passed through the inner sheet, the outer sheet being a nanolaminate film composed of a nanomembrane formed by electrospinning a polymer solution and a strength-reinforcing nonwoven fabric laminated on one side of the nanomembrane.
Underpants-type disposable diaper
A cover nonwoven fabric covers a back surface of an inner member from between a front side outer member and the inner member to between a back side outer member and the inner member. In this cover nonwoven fabric, a large number of holes are provided at intervals. The holes penetrate the front surface and back surface from between the front side outer member and the inner member to between the back side outer member and the inner member. The front side outer member and the back side outer member have, at least at portions overlapping with the cover nonwoven fabric and not having any elastic member, a total luminous transmittance of 50% or more.
Absorbent articles with components for a uniform appearance
A taped absorbent article is provided. The taped absorbent article includes a chassis comprising a topsheet, a backsheet, an absorbent core positioned at least partially intermediate the topsheet and the backsheet, and an outer cover nonwoven material joined to the backsheet. The outer cover nonwoven material comprises a first mechanical bond pattern. The taped absorbent article includes a discrete ear laminate joined to the chassis. The discrete ear laminate includes a first nonwoven material having a garment-facing surface, a second nonwoven material having a wearer-facing surface, a plurality of ultrasonic bonds, and an elastic member positioned at least partially intermediate the first and second nonwoven materials. The garment-facing surface of the first nonwoven material comprises a second mechanical bond pattern. The first and second mechanical bond patterns are substantially the same. The outer cover nonwoven material is substantially the same as, or the same as, the first nonwoven material.
Absorbent article with cover nonwoven fabric having improved air permeability
An absorber, a liquid impervious sheet covering a back surface side of the absorber and having air permeability, and a cover nonwoven fabric covering a back surface side of the liquid impervious sheet are provided. The cover nonwoven fabric has a large number of holes penetrating the front surface and back surface at intervals in a region overlapping with the liquid impervious sheet. Edge portions of the holes bend-up toward a front surface side. In a region having the holes in the cover nonwoven fabric, rows of the holes, which are aligned in the front-back direction at intervals in the front-back direction narrower than the dimension in the front-back direction of each of the holes, are repeatedly formed at predetermined intervals in the width direction, and the interval of the adjacent two holes in the width direction is wider than the dimension in the front back-direction of the hole.
Disposable diaper
A disposable diaper 1 has an elasticized leg cuff 10 on each longitudinally extending, lateral side of the crotch portion C. The elasticized leg cuff 10 includes an elastic member fixing sheet 5, an elastic member 6, an inner sheet 31, and an outer sheet 32 in order from the skin facing side. The inner sheet 31 and the outer sheet 32 are bonded to each other via a plurality of longitudinally extending and laterally spaced bonds 7. The elastic member 6 is located between the elastic member fixing sheet 5 and the inner sheet 31 and arranged at a location that does not overlap the bonds 7.
Tape-type disposable diaper
A nonwoven sheet is provided in a formation region of a target portion or a further wide region including the formation region of the target portion. The target portion is a composite of a nonwoven fabric as a base and loop pile fiber yarns which are woven and project from at least an external surface nonwoven fabric. The target portion is fixed to an outer nonwoven sheet forming the outside of a ventral part.
Nonwoven fabric comprising a high loft spunbond layer
The invention relates to a fabric comprising at least one high loft spunbond nonwoven layer having crimped multicomponent fibers, wherein a first component of the multicomponent fibers comprises a first polymer A and a second component of the multicomponent fibers comprises a blend of the first polymer A and a second polymer B, wherein the melt flow rate of polymer A is at least 25% higher than the melt flow rate of polymer B and wherein the second component comprises at least 40 wt.-% of polymer B.
WASHABLE MULTILAYER NURSING PAD
A washable multilayer nursing pad, including an edge and successive layers: a knitted mesh layer at least 1.5 mm thick and perforated, including a top face in direct contact with the skin and a bottom face; a layer of non-woven fibres, in contact with the top face, capable of absorbing at least 2.5 L/m2 of water; a microporous layer including an impermeable and breathable structure; and a protective layer covering the entire microporous layer.
DISPOSABLE DIAPER
A disposable diaper has, in a dorsal section of the outer sheet, a fastening tape extending orthogonally to a dorsoventral direction. The fastening tape includes: a base portion on the outer sheet; a main unit section on a distal end of the base portion; and an engagement portion on a distal end of the main unit section. A dorsal end edge of the main unit section is continuous with a dorsal end edge of the engagement portion, and a ventral end edge of the main unit section is continuous with a ventral end edge of the engagement portion. The fastening tape has a slit portion formed in an extending direction. The main unit section has elastically stretchable members formed in the extending direction at intervals in a dorsoventral direction. A ventral portion and a dorsal portion in the engagement portion extend more distally than a central portion thereof.
