Optimal brush configurations for gummy formulations
In one aspect, the present disclosure provides a brush for applying a formulation, the brush having a core having an outer surface and a longitudinal axis, a plurality of bristle rings protruding from the core and spaced apart along the longitudinal axis, each bristle ring having at least 6 bristles spaced radially apart around the outer surface of the core, and a high density zone that covers at least a portion of the outer surface of the core, the high density zone having an equivalent 360 degree linear bristle density of 13 to 31 whole bristles per 0.5 mm of length along the outer surface of the core measured along the longitudinal axis, and a surface bristle density of 3 to 5 bristles per square millimeter of area of the outer surface of the core.
ADJUSTABLE BOTTLE BRUSH
A brush includes a retractable, removable silicone rubber brush head. The diameter of the bristles diminishes as they extend outward. The bristles at the end of the brush head are positioned to contact and clean the corners of a flat-bottomed container.
PERSONAL CARE PRODUCT DISPENSING SYSTEM
A personal care product dispensing system with a body defining a cavity configured to retain a spreadable personal care product. A spreadable material is positioned within the cavity. A cover is mounted to the body. The cover defines a first aperture extending from a top surface of the cover to a bottom surface of the cover. A flexible applicator pad is mounted to the top surface of the cover with a valve positioned over the first aperture. The flexible applicator pad has a plurality of projections and a projection density of 10 to 40 projections per square centimeter.
KITS FOR APPLYING COSMETIC COMPOSITIONS
Kits for applying cosmetic compositions to keratinous material, in particular to (1) applicators comprising a brush comprising a core having an outer surface and a longitudinal axis; a plurality of bristles protruding from the core and spaced apart along the longitudinal axis; and a high density zone that covers at least a portion of the outer surface of the core, the high density zone having a surface bristle density of up to 7 bristles per square millimeter of area of the outer surface of the core, and wherein the bristles have a length from about 0.6 mm to about 4 mm and (2) cosmetic compositions for application to hair, eyebrows and/or eyelashes having a viscosity of less than about 250 Pa.Math.S when measured at a shear rate at 5 s.sup.1 are provided.
COSMETIC BRUSH AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
Disclosed are an improved cosmetic brush and a manufacturing method thereof. The improved cosmetic brush of the present invention includes: a brush bristle coupling portion of which brush bristles are coupled to one side portion; a connection fixing portion of which the brush bristle coupling portion is coupled to the inside; and a handle portion of which the brush bristle coupling portion and the connection fixing portion are coupled to one side portion, in which the handle portion includes a handle body, a first step body provided to be stepped on an end portion of the handle body and press-coupled with an end portion of the connection fixing portion, and a second step body provided to be stepped on an end portion of the first step body and press-coupled with end portions of the connection fixing portion and the brush bristle coupling portion.
Methods of Making Personalized Toothbrush Devices
The various embodiments described herein include methods, devices, and systems for creating customized dental care. In one aspect, a method includes obtaining a dental model of a particular user's teeth and determining, based on the dental model of the particular user's teeth, a configuration for a set of cleaning elements to be included with the toothbrush device. The method further includes forming the toothbrush device for the particular user based on the dental model of the particular user's teeth, whereby the toothbrush device includes: (i) a cleaner body, personalized for the particular user based on the dental model of the particular user's teeth, that defines a cleaning cavity shaped for receiving the particular user's teeth, and (ii) the set of cleaning elements, integrally formed with the cleaner body, that contact and clean the particular user's teeth during application of the toothbrush device, whereby the cleaning elements have the determined configuration.
BRUSH FIBERS WITH CRYSTAL-INFUSED COATING
Example aspects of a mixture for coating a brush fiber, a cosmetic brush, and a method for manufacturing a coated brush fiber are disclosed. The method for manufacturing a coated brush fiber can comprise idling an uncoated brush fiber in a mixer containing crystal particles; introducing a resin into the mixer; heating and agitating the resin and crystal particles within the mixer to form a mixture; and coating the uncoated brush fiber with the mixture to form a coated brush fiber.
TOOTHBRUSH RECOMMENDATION APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR
The present invention relates to a toothbrush type recommendation apparatus. The toothbrush type recommendation apparatus comprises: a user input unit; an output unit; and an operation control unit connected to the user input unit and the output unit. The operation control unit outputs a questionnaire to the output unit, the questionnaire including questions for determining the number of lines of bristles, questions for determining bristle strength, and questions for determining bristle shape, receives answers to the questionnaire as input from the user input unit and calculates a score for determining the number of lines of bristles and a score for determining bristle strength, determines the number of lines of bristles and the bristle strength corresponding to the respective calculated scores, determines a final bristle shape as a toothbrush type for the determined bristle strength on the basis of the answers to the questionnaire questions for determining bristle shape, and outputs the selected toothbrush type to the output unit.
