Tuft forming apparatus
An apparatus (10) for forming multi-filament tufts for use in a brush seal includes a support (14) for retaining an end of a skein (16) of aligned wires or fibers and a glue reservoir (15) dimensioned to receive the skein end. The support (14) and the reservoir (15) being relatively movable whereby the end can be inserted in the glue reservoir (15) so that the adhesive can adhere the wires or fibers at the end to form the tuft. A cutter (13) is also provided for cutting the wires or fibers to length after the wires and fibers are retained by the support (14).
Dual sided cosmetics brush and methods for making same
A two-component brush and methods of providing same, including a method in which first and second bristle portion are each separately glued together at the base, and then the bases are cut into A and B section, and the A section of the first bristle portion is combined with the B section of the second bristle portion. Also included is a method which includes the use of a two-section mold into which first and second bristle portions are placed into first and second mold portions, and the first and second bristle portions are fixed together before being removed. Also included is a dual sided retractable configuration.

CONSTRUCTION KIT FOR THE PRODUCTION OF BRUSH PRODUCTION MACHINES, BRUSH PRODUCTION MACHINE, AND TYPE SERIES OF BRUSH PRODUCTION MACHINES
In the technical field of the production of brush production machines (1), a construction kit for the production of brush production machines (1) is inter alia provided. This modular construction kit includes at least one basic module type (2a) and a deflection module type (3a), the modules (2, 3) thereof having standardized connection interfaces 5 by which the modules (3) are inter-coupleable to form a brush production machine (1). Since each of the modules (2, 3, 4) is coupleable to each module of the different module types (2a, 3a, 4a), a large number of different brush production machines (1) can be configured by way of this construction kit, without a particular constructive effort being required to this end.

Method of forming a bristle stack for paint brushes
A paint brush is provided and comprises a handle, a ferrule and a bristle stack. The bristle stack comprises a plurality of synthetic, virgin bristle filaments secured at one end in the ferrule. At the opposite end of the bristle stack the ends of the filaments collectively define a first notional plane which is generally curved, and a second notional plane which is generally orthogonal to the first notional plane and is also generally curved.

SYSTEMS, DEVICES, AND METHOD FOR MAKING A COSMETIC APPLICATOR
The present disclosure provides a method of making a cosmetic brush head, having anti-aging ingredients infused therein. The method includes the steps of mixing anti-aging ingredients and synthetic grain, melting the mixture, extruding the mixture to form threads, stretching the threads to a desired thickness, shaping the threads, collecting the threads into a bundle, cutting the bundle, hanging the bundle, combing the bundle, wrapping the bundle, cutting the bundle into shorter bundles, soaking the bundles in a solution to form tapered tips on the threads, soaking the bundles in an anti-aging solution, unbundling the short bundles and randomizing the threads, sorting the threads, and recollecting and wrapping the threads into a brush size bundle. The method may further include shaping the brush size bundle to a desired brush shape and securing the bundle to form a cosmetic brush head.
COSMETIC BRUSH HEAD INCLUDING ANTI-AGING INGREDIENTS
The present disclosure provides an applicator for applying cosmetics, the applicator having anti-aging ingredients infused therein. The applicator includes a tuft of anti-aging filaments including at least one anti-aging material and synthetic grain. The applicator also includes an applicator body physically coupled to the tuft of anti-aging filaments.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A MASCARA BRUSH
A method for manufacturing a brush for applying a product to the eyelashes and/or eyebrows. The brush includes a core having two branches which are twisted together and bristles clamped between the branches, and the method includes the steps of a) producing a brush blank, of which the envelope surface defines at least one first groove, and b) producing, in the blank obtained at a), at least one second groove intersecting the first one, at least one of the grooves being a helical groove.
