Composite liquid-retentive substrate for a hygiene article
A composite liquid-retentive substrate for a hygiene article comprises a base layer of first liquid-absorptive material. The base layer having a posterior end and a diametrically opposed anterior end interconnected by an intermediate tapered region. The posterior end has opposing posterior corners and the anterior end has opposing anterior corners. A posterior liquid-flow abutment comprising second absorptive material is disposed substantially around a perimeter of the posterior end. At least one anterior liquid-flow abutment comprising second absorptive material is disposed proximate one of the anterior corners of the anterior end.
Human wearable and detachable incontinence device
A detachable urine flow collection device that integrates with a disposable nonwoven or underwear garment worn by a human male or female. The incontinence device fits through an opening in the disposable nonwoven or underwear garment. The incontinence device is ellipsoid in shape and will be in direct and intimate contact with the users' genitals. This design allows the incontinence device to collect urine when the user urinates in different body positions. The main purpose of the incontinence devise is to channel this urine and liquid away from contact with the user and their skin as the constant contact of the liquid and urine is harmful. The channeling of urine and liquid away from the users skin is accomplished by the design of the incontinence device and the combinations of nonwoven materials that direct, move and store the urine and liquid in the device.
Disposable absorbent article
A disposable absorbent undergarment is disclosed. It includes an absorbent assembly comprising a core formed of a synthetic tow or of synthetic nonwoven layers and having first section comprising a slow acting but high absorption capacity SAP and a second section comprising a fast acting but lower absorption capacity SAP, all of which is wrapped in a wrapper to hold the SAP in place. The absorbent assembly may be quilted and corrugated. The undergarment also includes releasably securable fasteners to enable it to be readily removed and a suspension system to ensure that the garment fits properly and doesn't leak even when holding a large amount of exudate. Odor removal/masking and treatment features may be provided. It addition the undergarment may include a wetness indicator.
Absorbent article with klemm gradient and water repellent finishing
An absorbent member containing a hydrophobic material subjected to hydrophilic treatment, a plurality of through holes passing through the absorbent member in a thickness direction formed at a portion of the absorbent member in a target region (P). The absorbent member has a layer-stacked structure of a plurality of layers, stacked in the thickness direction. The Klemm water absorption height of a lower layer most proximal to the backsheet is higher than that of an upper layer most proximal to the topsheet. The backsheet contains a moisture permeable film including a plurality of microvoids, and having water repellent portions formed by water repellent finishing, on a portion in the target region (P) of a skin-facing surface of the moisture permeable film. A ratio of the total area of portions on which the water repellent finishing is performed to the area of the target region (P) is from 30% to 60%.
ABSORBENT PRODUCT COMPRISING ODOR CONTROL MATERIAL
Hygienic product comprising an odor control material having a longitudinal direction, a transverse direction and a thickness direction, the odor control material including a first carrier material wherein a plurality of odor control particles are bonded to at least one surface of the first carrier material by a binder substance wherein the first carrier material in an unexpanded condition has a plurality of transversal slits, and that the first carrier material in an expanded condition in the longitudinal direction has a plurality of openings, and that the first carrier material is fixed in the expanded condition in the hygienic product whereby the odor control material is in the form of a reticulated structure.
