The invention relates to a lubricating member for a razor cartridge comprising a lipid phase comprising a lipophilic structurant and a liquid phase, wherein said liquid phase comprises a metathesized unsaturated polyol ester which can be manufactured in a simple one batch process without thermal degradation and exhibiting improved lubricating and skin care properties over a sustained period.

A cosmetic composition for improved dyeing of keratin fibers is described. The composition comprises alkoxylated organopolysiloxanes and alkoxylated glyceryl esters and/or optionally alkoxylated alkyl glyceryl ethers. The composition may comprise less than 40 wt % water, or may be anhydrous. The composition may further comprise a direct dye, and may be used for bleaching, lightening, or dyeing of keratin fibers.

A cosmetic composition for improved dyeing of keratin fibers is described. In an exemplary embodiment, a process for dyeing keratinous material includes applying an agent (a) to the keratinous material, wherein the agent (a) comprises at least one organic silicon compound. The process further includes applying an agent (b) to the keratinous material, wherein the agent (b) comprises (b1) at least one colorant compound comprising at least one pigment based on a lamellar substrate platelet, and (b2) at least one film-forming polymer.

A composition for topical dermatological delivery of a medicinal or cosmeceutical or cosmetic active including a functional co-enhancer delivery system comprises a primary active agent in combination with an ancillary user adherence-improving skin barrier restoring system comprising nicotinamide and polyhydroxy acid. The composition generally comprises a water-miscible solvent and C.sub.12 or C.sub.14 fatty acids or C.sub.14 alcohol in combination with a hydrocarbyl methyl siloxane, other volatile silicones and a blend of silicone elastomers.

A cosmetic product includes an O/W emulsion of a crosslinked silicone obtained from radical polymerization under emulsion polymerization reaction condition of at least one polyorganosiloxane having at least two aliphatic unsaturated carbon-carbon bonds, and optionally an organohydrogenpolysiloxane, in the presence of a polyether-modified polysiloxane. This water-in-oil emulsion-type stick-shaped deodorant composition contains: (A) a volatile component having a boiling point of 250° C. or less, where the total amount of water and ethanol in the (A) component is 83-100 mass %; (B) component (B-1), component (B-2), or a combination of components (B-1) and (B-2), wherein component (B-1) is an antiperspirant and component (B-2) is a fungicide; (C) a crosslinked silicone surfactant; (D) a non-crosslinked silicone surfactant; and (E) an oily component which has a solid phase at 25° C.
