WATER-IN-OIL EMULSION COSMETIC
A water-in-oil emulsifying cosmetic that has a smooth texture while suppressing stickiness, and that further has an excellent fitting sensation when applied. The water-in-oil emulsion cosmetic of the present invention contains (A) a water-soluble thickener in an internal phase; and contains at least one of (B) an emulsifying crosslinked elastomer and (C) a metal soap in an external phase.
AGENT FOR TEMPORARY SHAPING OF KERATIN-CONTAINING FIBERS HAVING A MIXTURE OF CONDITIONING POLYMERS
A transparent cosmetic composition and related methods are provided. The composition includes, in relation to the total weight thereof, 0.1 to 30 wt. % of a mixture of at least two conditioning polymers, 0.01 to 25 wt. % of a polyether-modified polysiloxane, 0.001 to 15 wt. % of a film-forming polymer, and 1 to 90 wt. % water.
AGENT FOR TEMPORARY SHAPING OF KERATIN-CONTAINING FIBERS HAVING A MIXTURE OF CONDITIONING POLYMERS
A transparent cosmetic composition and related methods are provided. The composition includes, in relation to the total weight thereof, 0.1 to 30 wt. % of a mixture of at least two conditioning polymers, 0.01 to 25 wt. % of a polyether-modified polysiloxane, 0.001 to 15 wt. % of a film-forming polymer, and 1 to 90 wt. % water.
CLEAR HAIR CONDITIONER COMPOSITION
A hair conditioner which provides hair conditioning, de-tangling, frizz control and reduced flyaway benefits, without weighing down hair or loosing hair volume, in a clear composition, is disclosed. The composition utilizes a combination of high levels of PEG/PPG silicone surfactants together with cationic polymeric thickeners (such as polyquaternium-37) to provide those benefits.

Treatment agent and cosmetic composition comprising co-modified organopolysiloxane
A surface treatment agent or a powder treatment agent comprising a co-modified organopolysiloxane is disclosed. The co-modified organopolysiloxane is represented by the general formula: R.sup.1.sub.aR.sup.2.sub.bQ.sub.cSiO.sub.(4−a−b−c)/2. The co-modified organopolysiloxane has a number average molecular weight of less than 4500 and includes a long-chain alkyl group and a polyoxyalkylene group in the molecule.

A surface treatment agent or a powder treatment agent comprising a co-modified organopolysiloxane is disclosed. The co-modified organopolysiloxane is represented by the general formula: R.sup.1.sub.aR.sup.2.sub.bQ.sub.cSiO.sub.(4−a−b−c)/2. The co-modified organopolysiloxane has a number average molecular weight of less than 4500 and includes a long-chain alkyl group and a polyoxyalkylene group in the molecule.

Sunscreen compositions and methods of their use
Described herein are compositions useful for protecting the skin from the sun. The compositions comprise cosmetic ingredients such as zinc oxide, titanium dioxide, butyloctyl salicylate, and a dermatologically acceptable vehicle. The compositions may further comprise additional ingredients such as cyclopentasiloxane, neopentyl glycol diheptanoate, butylene glycol, caprylyl methicone, PEG-9 polydimethylsiloxyethyl dimethicone, glycerin, polyglyceryl-6 polyricinoleate, lauric acid, aluminum hydroxide, potassium sorbate, and citric acid.
