HEADER FOR COMBINE HARVESTER
A header for a combine harvester includes a center section having a first draper belt configured to move crop material in a first direction. The header also includes a wing pivotably coupled to the center section about a pivot axis and extending laterally away from the center section. The header also includes a second draper belt coupled to the wing and configured to move crop material in a second direction different than the first direction. The wing and the second draper belt are in a fixed positional relationship with each other, such that the wing is configured to remain at a constant distance from the second draper belt at all points along the wing during pivoting movement of the wing.
AGRICULTURAL HARVESTING HEAD WITH NESTED DRAPER BELT DRIVE
An agricultural harvesting head.
AGRICULTURAL HARVESTING HEAD WITH FLOAT ARM PIVOTS BELOW RECIPROCATING KNIVES
An agricultural harvesting head includes a laterally extending frame with several spaced apart float arms pivotally coupled to the frame at their rear ends, and a reciprocating knife fixed to the forward ends of the float arms, wherein the float arms are constrained to pivot with respect to the frame about pivot points that are lower than the reciprocating knife.
CENTER KNIFE DRIVE FOR AN AGRICULTURAL HARVESTER
A header for an agricultural harvester comprising a frame and an epicyclical drive operatively connected to the frame. The epicyclical drive includes a first rotatable wheel having a first central rotational axis and a first flange. The first flange includes a first eccentric axis rotatable about the first central rotational axis, and a first output shaft spaced from the first eccentric axis. The epicyclical drive further includes a second rotatable wheel having a second central rotational axis and a second flange. The second flange includes a second eccentric axis rotatable about the second central rotational axis, and a second output shaft spaced from the second eccentric axis. The header further includes a first cutter bar directly connected to the first output shaft and a second cutter bar directly connected to the second output shaft. Operation of the epicyclical drive results in substantially linear oscillating motion of the cutter bars.
MONITORING DEVICE FOR MONITORING CROP YIELD
A monitoring device for monitoring crop yield is disclosed. The monitoring device is mounted to a housing of a grain elevator of an agricultural work machine proximate a crop conveyor assembly arranged in the housing and has at least one aperture formed therein. A material engagement member is arranged on the mounting structure and is pivotal with respect to the mounting structure about a pivot point. The material engagement member can comprise first end and a second end opposite of the first end. At least one rotational sensor is arranged in the monitoring device and is configured to detect spatial movement or position of the material engagement member. A processing device is coupled to the at least one rotational sensor and is configured to determine an aggregate crop yield based on the detected rotational magnitude of the displacement of the first end or second end.
HARVESTING ATTACHMENT FOR WHOLE PLANT HARVESTING
A harvesting attachment for whole plant harvesting includes a pick-up for picking up plants from a field, a first transverse conveyor belt and a second transverse conveyor belt for conveying the plants picked up transversely in a direction toward of a longitudinal center plane of the harvesting attachment, and two longitudinal conveyor belts which are arranged side-by-side and adjacent to the longitudinal center plane of the harvesting attachment and are set up to convey the plants entering from the transverse conveyor belts rearward to a rear discharge point of the harvesting attachment. The two longitudinal conveyor belts are inclined vertically upward in a direction toward the center plane at least over part of their length along the center plane.
CROP DEFLECTOR FOR A HARVESTING HEAD
Harvesting machines and agricultural harvesting heads for harvesting machines are disclosed herein. A harvesting machine includes a frame, an elongate reciprocating knife, a conveyor system, a drum conveyor, and a crop deflector. The elongate reciprocating knife is coupled to a forward edge of the frame and configured to cut crop material adjacent to the ground. The conveyor system is supported by the frame and configured to carry cut crop material toward a central portion of the frame and rearward therefrom. The drum conveyor is located directly behind at least a portion of the conveyor system, and the drum conveyor includes an elongate cylindrical drum supported for rotation on the frame about a drum axis and a plurality of elongate fingers that at least partially extend through an outer wall of the cylindrical drum.
Agricultural elevator supplied by multiple cross augers
An agricultural harvester includes a chassis, a cleaning system carried by the chassis, a crop material elevator supplied with crop material that has passed through the cleaning system and has a first inlet and a second inlet, and an auger system supplying the crop material from the cleaning system to the crop material elevator. The auger system includes a first auger defining an auger axis that extends in a conveying direction toward the crop material elevator and is configured to supply crop material to the first inlet, a second auger defining a second auger axis that extends in the conveying direction, and a crop material conveyor configured to supply crop material from the second auger to the second inlet generally transverse to the second auger axis.
Draper belt guide
A harvester head may include a roller having a groove and supporting a draper belt. The draper belt may include a web and an elastomeric belt guide projecting from web, wherein the belt guide has outer side surfaces extending at an angle of no greater than 100 relative to the second surface when the belt guide wrapping about the roller within the groove. The groove may have outer side surfaces, each outer side surface extending at angle of no greater than hundred degrees relative to an outer surface of the roller.
AGRICULTURAL ELEVATOR SUPPLIED BY MULTIPLE CROSS AUGERS
An agricultural harvester includes a chassis, a cleaning system carried by the chassis, and a crop material elevator for receiving crop material that has passed through the cleaning system. The crop material elevator has a top-most end, a bottom-most end, a first inlet between the top-most end and the bottom-most end, and a second inlet between the top-most end and the first inlet. The agricultural harvester also includes an auger system for supplying crop material from the cleaning system to the crop material elevator. The auger system includes a first auger defining an auger axis for supplying crop material to the first inlet, a second auger defining a second auger axis, and a crop material conveyor for supplying crop material from the second auger to the second inlet.
