HEADER
A header has a middle section disposed on a main frame and at least two side sections disposed adjacent to the middle section, a cutterbar extending substantially across the width of the header, and at least one conveyor device which conveys crop cut by the cutterbar laterally in the direction of the middle section. The conveyor device has a central conveyor including an endlessly circulating, endless conveyor belt which is guided around two rollers disposed on two support elements extending in parallel to the conveyance direction and are each mounted on bearing points provided on the support elements. The support elements each have a guide recess and in which one of the rollers is displaceable so that the conveyor belt can be transferred from an operating position, in which the conveyor belt is tensioned, into a maintenance position, in which the conveyor belt sags, in sections, in the vertical direction.
AGRICULTURAL VEHICLE WITH ACTIVE EDGE WINDROW CHUTE
An agricultural vehicle includes: a chassis; a header carried by the chassis and configured to cut crop material; a chopper carried by the chassis downstream of the header; a spreader assembly carried by the chassis downstream of the chopper; and a windrow assembly carried by the chassis downstream of the chopper. The windrow assembly includes: a windrow chute defining a chute surface and a leading edge downstream from the chopper; and a rotatable conveyor associated with the leading edge and having a surface with at least one conveyor projection extending from the surface, the at least one conveyor projection being configured to convey crop material toward at least one of the chute surface and the spreader assembly during rotation.
DRAPER BELT GUIDE
A harvester head may include a roller having a groove and supporting a draper belt. The draper belt may include a web and an elastomeric belt guide projecting from web, wherein the belt guide has outer side surfaces extending at an angle of no greater than 100 relative to the second surface when the belt guide wrapping about the roller within the groove. The groove may have outer side surfaces, each outer side surface extending at angle of no greater than hundred degrees relative to an outer surface of the roller.
DRAPER BELT
A draper belt for a head of a harvester that is to extend about a roller having an outer groove encircling the roller and may include a web and an elastomeric belt guide. The web may have a first surface to carry crop material and a second surface to face the roller. The elastomeric belt guide may extend from the second surface and may include downwardly projecting teeth.
Monitoring device for monitoring crop yield
An example monitoring device for monitoring crop yield is mounted to a housing of a grain elevator of an agricultural work machine proximate a crop conveyor assembly arranged in the housing and has at least one aperture formed therein. A material engagement member is arranged on the mounting structure and is pivotal with respect to the mounting structure about a pivot point. The material engagement member can comprise a first end and a second end opposite of the first end. At least one rotational sensor is arranged in the monitoring device and is configured to detect spatial movement or position of the material engagement member. A processing device is coupled to the at least one rotational sensor and is configured to determine an aggregate crop yield based on the detected rotational magnitude of the displacement of the first end or second end.
Draper Belt Having Improved Edge Durability
A draper belt (8) having a carry layer (14), a pulley cover layer (13), and a reinforcing layer (12) which is situated between the carry layer (14) and the pulley cover layer (13). The carry layer (14) includes a plurality of cleats (7) which are reinforced with reinforcing rods (15). The draper belt (8) has a first edge section (16), a second edge section (17), and a center section (18) located between the first edge section (16) and the second edge section (17). The first edge section (16) and the second edge section (17) of the draper belt (8) each have a modulus that is at least three times greater than the modulus of the center section (18).
HARVEST MEASURING SYSTEM
A harvest weighing mechanism utilizes a variable speed conveyor comprised of evenly spaced solid rods such that marketable product is suspended on the rods while small foreign material falls between the rods. The product moves at the same velocity as the conveyor until discharged and directed into an impact plate attached to an impact sensor. As the product collides with the impact plate the resultant deflection of the impact plate is converted to an electronic signal which is sent to a control box which uses an algorithm to convert radial velocity to linear velocity and through laws of energy conservation determines the weight of the product required to cause the deflection measured by the impact sensor.
PEANUT HARVESTER
A harvester lifts plant material and usable product off the ground using a header to create one or more distinct ribbons of material which are each fed axially into the front of rotating foraminous drums carrying stripper springs and within which a rotor with threshing springs and a screw conveyor on its outer surface is cooperatively mounted. The usable product thus separated from the plant material exits the foraminous drums to be collected and conveyed to the cleaning portion of the harvester. The product and foreign material are mechanically sized using a series of rollers and an air stream separates the product for subsequent trimming of stems therefrom. The product is then deposited on a sizing conveyor further separation and weighing.
Agricultural Machine for Harvesting a Crop, Comprising a Harvesting Head and a Crop Transportation System for said Harvesting Head, and Related Transportation System
An agricultural machine for harvesting a crop, which is equipped with a harvesting head, includes: a mowing bar for harvesting the crop; at least one transportation system adapted to transport the crop cut by the mowing bar to a collection mouth of the harvesting head. The at least one transportation system includes: a first transmission system having a first flexible element coupled with a pair of first rotary elements; a second transmission system having a second flexible element coupled with a pair of second rotary elements; at least one arm coupled with both of the first flexible element and the second flexible element, in such a way as to extend on the harvesting head substantially transversally relative to the mowing bar both during a transportation step for transporting the crop cut by the mowing bar and during a return step.
DRAPER BELT SYSTEM
A draper belt system is provided that includes first and second draper belt assemblies. The first draper belt assembly includes first and second rollers, and a draper belt looped around the first and second rollers. The first roller defines a first roller diameter, a first central longitudinal axis, and a first plane extending through the first central longitudinal axis. The second draper belt assembly includes third and fourth rollers, and a draper belt looped around the third and fourth rollers. The third roller defines a third roller diameter dimensioned smaller than the first roller diameter, a second central longitudinal axis, and a second plane extending through the second central longitudinal axis. The third roller of the second draper belt assembly is disposed adjacent to the first roller with the first central longitudinal axis extending parallel to the second central longitudinal axis, and the second plane offset from the first plane.
