Flexible draper and cutter bar having shiftable crop divider with deflector
A harvesting machine includes a harvesting header with a header frame, a cutterbar assembly attached to the header frame along the length thereof and configured to cut a crop, and a draper assembly positioned behind the cutterbar assembly and operable to receive severed crop material from the cutterbar assembly. The draper assembly includes a center draper that delivers crop material to a feeder house of the harvesting machine and oppositely spaced side drapers that deliver crop material to the center draper. The harvesting header is operable to flex and thereby follow an uneven terrain.
Agricultural harvester header with retracting paddles for conveying crop material
An agricultural harvester includes a header with an infeed assembly including a driving element configured to rotate; a cylinder rotationally coupled to the driving element and having a plurality of openings formed therein; and a paddle assembly eccentrically positioned and rotationally held within the cylinder. Each paddle assembly includes a plurality of paddles variably positioned through the openings in the cylinder. Each paddle includes a laterally slidable wing that withdraws into the cylinder when the paddle retracts into the cylinder, and slides outwardly as the paddle extends form the cylinder.
SYSTEM AND METHOD TO CONTROL MERGER OPERATIONS
A header and a crop merger are operably attached to a harvester, wherein the crop merger receives cut crop from the header. A controller is operably connected with the header and the crop merger to determine if the header is approaching a headland or crop to cut. The controller receives one or more of a merger belt speed provided by a belt speed sensor associated with a crop belt of the crop merger, a maximum crop flow distance, and a merger belt motor pressure provided by a merger belt motor pressure sensor associated with a motor of the crop merger to determine whether to actuate a crop merger actuator to raise or lower the crop merger as the header approaches the headland. The controller receives harvester system inputs that include at least vehicle speed and cutter width of the header to identify the headland.
Draper seal for crop header
A header includes a forwardly disposed cutter bar assembly and a rearwardly disposed draper deck assembly. The draper seal includes a flexible strip that runs parallel to the cutter bar assembly and perpendicular to the direction of travel. A bracket secures the forward edge of the flexible strip to an upper surface of the cutter bar assembly, which bracket also biases a rearward edge of the flexible strip into engagement with an upper surface of the draper deck assembly, thereby creating a seal between the cutter bar assembly and the draper deck assembly.
Floating floor assembly of a header
A floor assembly (300) of a header including a floating floor (310) with a stationary lower floor portion (312) and a movable upper floor portion (314). The upper floor portion is configured for contacting a crop material which applies a force onto the upper floor portion. The floor assembly also includes at least one biasing member (320) that is connected to the upper floor portion and configured for biasing the upper floor portion (314) so that the upper floor portion moves in response to the force applied by the crop material.
Agricultural header with inter-belt crop divider
An agricultural header comprises a first side draper belt, a second side draper belt, a first center draper belt, a second center draper belt, and a crop divider. The first and second center draper belts are positioned laterally between the first and second side draper belts which extend laterally outwardly in opposite directions away from the first and second center draper belts. Each of the first and second side draper belts are arranged to feed crop material laterally inwardly, and each of the first and second center draper belts are arranged to feed crop material rearwardly for processing by the agricultural harvester. The crop divider is positioned laterally between the first and second center draper belts to separate crop material fed laterally inwardly from the first and second side draper belts respectively to the first and second center draper belts.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE OPERATION OF A HARVESTING IMPLEMENT OF AN AGRICULTURAL HARVESTER
A harvesting implement for an agricultural harvester includes a frame and an auger rotatably supported on the frame. Furthermore, the harvesting implement includes a first crop feed component configured to direct a first portion of crop material from a field toward the auger and a second crop feed component spaced apart from the first crop feed component in a lateral direction that is perpendicular to a direction of travel of the harvesting implement, with the second crop feed component configured to direct a second portion of the crop material to the auger. In this respect, when the harvesting implement travels along a turn, one of the first or second crop feed components on an outside of the turn is driven at a greater rate than the other of the first or second crop feed components.
Draper with belt guiding unit
A draper for an agricultural machine. The draper includes a middle segment and two side segments, each with a frame, a flexible cutter bar, that is arranged or positioned on support arms pivotably articulated to the frame, as well as one or more continuously circulating conveyor devices arranged or positioned behind the cutter bar. The one or more conveyor device comprises a first guide roller that is arranged or positioned on the middle segment, and a second guide roller that is arranged or positioned at the end on the particular side segment around which the endless conveyor belt circulates. The two side segments are each pivotably connected to the middle segment by a frame joint about a pivot axis running substantially horizontally. The particular side segment has a belt guiding unit with a guide roller.
PLASTIC DRAPER TRACK
A draper track comprising a track portion and a lug. The track portion has a center portion and a ramp extending from an end of the center portion. The ramp is configured to guide cleats on a return run of a draper belt onto the center portion and over a header leg when the draper track is mounted on the header leg. The lug is fixedly coupled to the center portion of the track portion. The lug is configured to be coupled to the header leg.
Harvester header with lateral belt roller mount
A header system is provided. The headers system includes a conveyor belt and a belt roller assembly comprising a belt roller configured to contact the conveyor belt and to rotate about an axis during movement of the conveyor belt. The header system further includes a belt roller assembly mount configured to secure the belt roller on the header system, wherein the belt roller mount assembly comprises a first mounting member configured to secure the belt roller to an infeed deck frame included in the header system.
