DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE

The present disclosure relates to a drug delivery device. The drug delivery device includes a housing that has a surface adapted to be placed against a skin of a user during use of drug delivery device, and an attachment mechanism for holding the drug delivery device on the skin of the user. The drug delivery device also has a needle assembly, which includes a needle that protrudes from the surface for delivery of the drug to the user and a shield that surrounds the needle after the drug delivery device has been used. The needle assembly can be detached from the housing for disposal.

MEDICAL FLUID INJECTION APPARATUS AND METHOD WITH DETACHABLE PATCH AND MONITORING

Provided herein are systems and methods for monitoring one or more health or physiological parameters in a subject. The systems and methods may comprise a patch coupled to an injector. Data may be transmitted to a mobile device or remote server, where the data may be processed. Processed data may be used to inform a subject on a health or physiological condition.

A wearable medical device may be unpacked, prepared, and/or used while being grasped with a single hand position. For example, the device may be removed from a package, primed, and/or adhered to the skin of a user while being grasped with the single hand position. Optionally, the device may be used with a single hand. Optionally, the device includes a delivery interface (for example, including a needle tip and/or a skin contact surface). Optionally, the device includes a protector that preserves sterility of the delivery interface. Optionally, the cover can be removed with a single hand. Optionally, removal of the cover is performed with the same hand position as placement of the device on a delivery site.

Communication Accessory for a Drug Delivery Device

A medicament delivery assembly comprises a delivery device configured to deliver medicament to a user, a communication accessory releasably coupled to the delivery device, and one or more sensors configured to sense a condition of the delivery device. The communication accessory may be configured to receive a first signal from the one or more sensors assembly and to send a second signal to an external device.

Tube crimping arrangement for drug delivery device

A drug delivery system for injecting a medicament is provided. The system includes a container configured to receive a medicament; a drive assembly which, upon actuation, is configured to expel the medicament from the container; a needle for injecting the medicament to a patient; a fluid path assembly comprising a tube in fluid communication with the container and the needle for conducting fluid from the container to the needle; and a tube crimping arrangement configured to engage the tube to block fluid flow through the tube. The drive assembly causes the tube crimping arrangement to engage the tube after a dose of the medicament has been delivered to the patient through the needle.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DELIVERING MICRODOSES OF MEDICATION

Devices, systems, and methods are provided herein for delivering medication (e.g., insulin) via a wearable pump having a patch-style form factor for adhesion to a user's body. The reusable pump may be coupled to a disposable cap housing a microdosing system for delivering precise, repeatable doses of medication to a cannula configured to deliver medication to a target infusion area beneath the user's outer skin layer. The system further may include an applicator for inserting the cannula into the user's skin and/or applying an adhesive pad to the skin.
