Antiseptic cap with thread cover
A syringe assembly including: (1) a syringe barrel defining a chamber; (2) a plunger mounted in the chamber and moveable with respect to the barrel; and (3) a cap assembly containing a cap and an absorbent material is removably attached to the plunger.
Antiseptic cap
The present invention provides an antiseptic cap for use with an access site having a housing with a wall defining a chamber, the wall having a set of threads on an inner surface of the wall; and an access site contacting surface associated with the housing having an antiseptic substance for contacting a surface of the access site. The present invention also provides an antiseptic cap equipped plunger assembly wherein an antiseptic cap is retained within a housing of the plunger.
Method of cleaning and covering an access site
A syringe assembly including: (1) a syringe barrel defining a chamber; (2) a plunger mounted in the chamber and moveable with respect to the barrel; and (3) a cap assembly containing a cap and an absorbent material is removably attached to the plunger.
Antiseptic cap with antiseptic
A syringe assembly including: (1) a syringe barrel defining a chamber; (2) a plunger mounted in the chamber and moveable with respect to the barrel; and (3) a cap assembly containing a cap and an absorbent material is removably attached to the plunger.
Antiseptic cap equipped syringe
A syringe assembly including: (1) a syringe barrel defining a chamber; (2) a plunger mounted in the chamber and moveable with respect to the barrel; and (3) a cap assembly containing a cap and an absorbent material is removably attached to the plunger. An antiseptic cap and syringe combination includes a syringe barrel having an access point connection, and a tip cap having a proximate chamber and a distal chamber. The proximate chamber releasably receives and engages the access point connection of the syringe, and the distal chamber removably receives and engages an antiseptic cap.
SYRINGE WITH TWO-STAGE SEALING PRESSURE
A syringe includes a barrel, a plunger, and a sealing member creating a seal between the plunger and the barrel. The barrel includes a first portion with a first inner diameter and a second portion with a second inner diameter that is larger than the first inner diameter. The sealing member engages the first portion of the barrel to give rise to a first contact pressure when the barrel is filled with product. The first contact pressure is sufficient to maintain a gas-tight seal over the expected temperature ranges 25 C. to 40 C. A first force is applied to the plunger to overcome the first contact pressure and move the plunger out of the first portion and into the second portion to dispense product. The sealing member engages the second portion of the barrel to give rise to a second contact pressure that is lower than the first contact pressure. A second force lower than the first force is sufficient to overcome the second contact pressure and move the plunger in the second portion to continue dispensing product. The syringe may include a restraining element for accommodating expansion of the product during freezing.

ANTISEPTIC CAP
A syringe assembly including: (1) a syringe barrel defining a chamber; (2) a plunger mounted in the chamber and moveable with respect to the barrel; and (3) a cap holder assembly containing a cap and an absorbent material removably attached to the syringe.
REUSE PREVENTION INJECTION DEVICE
A disposable injection device may include a syringe barrel having a cylinder-shaped internal structure; a plunger rod which is coupled to the syringe barrel and movably disposed to make a sliding reciprocating motion to inject a medicine contained inside; and an adaptor which is coupled to an upper end portion of the syringe barrel to prevent separation of the plunger rod coupled to the syringe barrel, wherein when the plunger rod moves toward a syringe needle coupled to a lower end of the syringe barrel, a locking flange protruding in a radial direction of the plunger rod is inserted into a flange locking hole passing through the adaptor, and subsequently when the plunger rod is pulled in a rearward direction, the locking flange is fit into the flange locking hole to restrain movements in the rearward direction, thereby preventing syringe reuse.
Dual chamber syringe assembly
A syringe having two variable volumes are described herein. The syringe includes a first stopper and a second stopper, the first stopper being connected to a plunger. A first variable volume of the two variable volumes is disposed between the first stopper and the second stopper and a second variable volume of the two variable volumes is between the second stopper and a distal end of a barrel of the syringe. A flow path structure is disposed at the distal end of the barrel, the flow path structure extending from the distal end of the barrel along an inner sidewall of the barrel.
