Assembly for a medication delivery device and medication delivery device comprising such an assembly

An assembly for a medication delivery device having a body, a piston rod and a setting nut. The piston rod is rotatable relative to the body in a dose setting state and is axially movable in a distal direction with respect to the body in a dose delivering state. The setting nut is secured against rotational movement with respect to the body, but is axially movable relative to the body, being helically coupled with the piston rod to axially travel in the proximal direction for setting a dose of a medication due to a helical movement of the setting nut with respect to the piston rod when the piston rod is rotated in the dose setting state, and is able to axially travel in the distal direction for delivering the set dose of the medication when the piston rod is axially moved in the dose delivering state of the assembly.

FIXED DOSE INJECTION DEVICE

A shield activated drug delivery device for delivering a plurality of fixed doses comprising a housing, a drive mechanism comprising a drive element (180, 280) adapted to rotate and thereby rotate and axially advance a piston rod (109, 209), wherein the drive mechanism is adapted to expel a dose of the plurality of fixed doses, in response to activation. The injection device further comprises an activation mechanism, and a locking-and-resetting mechanism for releasably locking the shield in an activation position, in response to rotating the shield, and for inducing a rotational movement of the shield, in response to the drive element releasing a releasable lock.

Drug solution administration device and method for controlling drug solution administration device
11484656 · 2022-11-01 · ·

A drug solution administration device includes a drug solution reservoir, a drive unit, a rotation detection unit, and a control unit. The control unit counts the number of rotations of the drive unit from when a rotation sensor value reaches a blockage start threshold value until the rotation sensor value reaches a blockage detection threshold value. Further, the control unit determines that a blockage of a flow path has occurred when the rotation sensor value reaches the blockage detection threshold value, and rotates the drive unit in a direction opposite to a direction in which the drug solution is administered based on the counted number of rotations.

DOSING SYRINGE
