The disclosure relates to a drug delivery device for expelling a pre-determined or pre-settable amount of a liquid medicament formulation which improves the stalling behavior and indicates the stalling state to the user. The device comprises: a medicament reservoir attached to a housing and an expelling mechanism configured for acting against the medicament reservoir in order to expel a portion of the liquid medicament formulation therefrom, the expelling mechanism comprising an arrangement of a threaded nut in a fixed axial relation to the housing and a lead screw in threaded engagement with the threaded nut, the threaded nut and the lead screw being rotatable relative to each other by a rotational input interface, a mechanical energy reservoir (for storing energy, the stored energy being releasable from the energy reservoir by a rotational interface, a drive train having upstream and downstream interfaces; and a trigger movable relative to the housing.

AUTO-INJECTOR

The carrier is adapted to contain a syringe with a hollow injection needle, a drive spring, and a plunger for forwarding load of the drive spring to a stopper of the syringe, wherein the syringe is lockable for joint axial translation with the carrier, wherein the drive spring acts between the carrier and the plunger, wherein the plunger, in an initial state, is locked to the carrier by a ramped engagement to the carrier and by being prevented from rotating out of this ramped engagement, depending on a relative longitudinal position of the carrier in the case, and wherein the plunger is arranged to be released for rotating out of the ramped engagement.

The present disclosure relates to drug administration. In an exemplary embodiment, a system can include a drug administration device configured to dispense a drug to a patient, a monitoring device configured to log a delivery event of drug delivery from the drug administration device into the patient, and a sensor configured to sense a patient parameter following delivery of the drug into the patient. In another exemplary embodiment, a drug administration device can include a drug holder configured to hold a drug, a dispensing mechanism configured to dispense the drug, and a sensor configured to sense a patient parameter, and the drug administration device can be configured to locally activate the drug at a target location in the patient. In another exemplary embodiment, methods, devices, and systems are provided to assess when operation of a drug dispensing mechanism is complete and to confirm whether drug administration was successful.

Vial Transfer and Injection Apparatus and Method

Drug delivery system, injection device, transfer apparatus, vial holder and method of administering and transferring are disclosed. The system may include transfer apparatus and an injection device. The transfer apparatus may have receiving stations for a drug source, such as a vial or vial holder, and for an injection device, and fluid flow pathways for transferring drugs from the source into the injection device. The injection device may include an expandable elastic bladder and an injection cannula that is movable between a plurality of positions.

The present disclosure refers to a switch assembly for an electronic system of a drug delivery device. The switch assembly includes a chassis supporting a PCBA including at least a first electrical contact, a second electrical contact, a third electrical contact and a fourth electrical contact and a ring with a ratchet profile. The chassis moves axially relative to the ring from a first axial position to a second axial position during a first switch operation mode. The chassis and the ring are configured such that the ring rotates relative to the chassis during a second switch operation mode. The first electrical contact and the second electrical contact are arranged such that upon axial movement of the chassis towards the ring during the first switch operation mode, an electrical connection between the first electrical contact and the second electrical contact is closed.

AUTOINJECTOR

An autoinjector includes a housing and a drive chassis arranged linearly moveable within the housing. The drive chassis includes a dispensing limb and a trigger limb.
