AUTOMATIC INJECTION DEVICE
Automatic injection device includes a housing, a syringe, a plunger, and a syringe carrier. The housing includes a barrel between a first end and a second end. The barrel includes an elongated window to allow viewing of contents inside the housing. The syringe is disposed within the housing and has a reservoir. The plunger is at least partially disposed within the syringe and includes a visual indicator. The syringe carrier is disposed within the housing and configured to contain the syringe and displace the syringe within the housing between a first position and a second position. The syringe carrier can be substantially transparent. The syringe carrier can have first and second legs and an extension disposed therebetween, and at least a portion of the extension can be configured to align with the window and the reservoir when the syringe carrier is in the first position.
Drive unit for a medicament delivery device
A drive unit for a medicament delivery device is presented having an elongated plunger rod extending in a longitudinal direction, a drive force element capable of applying a drive force on the elongated plunger rod, and an actuator operably connected to the elongated plunger rod for releasably holding the elongated plunger rod in an energized state when the drive force element is exerting a drive force on the elongated plunger rod. An activator is operably connected to the actuator for releasably holding the actuator in a holding position where the actuator is designed to be movable from the holding position in a direction generally transversal to the longitudinal direction upon a displacement of the activator for releasing the plunger rod.
Medicament delivery device
A medicament delivery device includes a generally elongated tubular housing having opposite proximal and distal parts; a needle shield sleeve slidably and coaxially arranged inside the housing with a proximal part of the sleeve protruding a distance outside the proximal part of the housing; a syringe carrier mechanism having a syringe carrier slidably and coaxially arranged within the needle shield sleeve, a syringe having a stopper, a medicament, and a needle, the syringe being coaxially arranged within the syringe carrier; and a holding member connected to the syringe carrier; a first activator member an a second activator member; a drive mechanism adapted to accumulate a drive force for moving the syringe carrier mechanism in a first step and a second step. The second activator member is arranged within an information device for producing audible, visual, and/or tactile feedback to a user about a completed injection.
Auto-Injector
An auto-injector for administering a dose of a liquid medicament (M) is presented having an elongate case, a carrier subassembly comprising a tubular carrier slidably arranged inside the case, where the carrier adapted to contain a syringe with a hollow injection needle. The injector also has, a drive spring and a plunger for forwarding load of the drive spring to a stopper of the syringe, wherein the syringe is lockable for joint axial translation with the carrier. A control spring is arranged around the carrier for translating the carrier in a proximal direction (P) for advancing the needle beyond a proximal end of the auto-injector, and a trigger button is used for releasing the control spring on actuation.
Supplemental Device for Attachment to an Injection Device
A supplemental device for attachment to an injection device, the supplemental device comprising: a housing; an electromechanical switch arrangement having an open state and a closed state, the electromechanical switch arrangement comprising a protrusion configured to contact a surface of the injection device while the supplemental device is attached to the injection device; a dose dialled detector operable to detect a dose of medicament dialled into the attached injection device; and a processor arrangement configured to: monitor the detected dose of medicament dialled into the attached injection device; detect a change in the state of the electromechanical switch arrangement; and change a display output of the supplemental device when a change in the state of the electromechanical switch arrangement is detected while a zero dose is dialled into the attached injection device.
INJECTION DEVICE WITH END OF DOSE INDICATOR
An injection device includes a housing having an internal volume and a viewing portion. A movable seal is disposed in the internal volume and is movable from an initial position to an injection end position to urge a drug product out of the housing. An indicator assembly is disposed in the internal volume and includes a dose end indicator. The indicator assembly is biased from a dose remaining position toward a dose end position where the dose end indicator is visible through the viewing portion. A release mechanism releasably holds the indicator assembly in the dose remaining position and is linked to the movable seal such that the movable seal reaching the injection end position causes the release mechanism to release the indicator assembly to the dose end position.
VERSATILE SYRINGE PLATFORM
Apparatus and methods for medicament delivery. The apparatus may include, and the methods may involve, a delivery device for delivering a target amount of the medicament from a distal end of the device. The device may include a rod for moving a plunger that discharges the medicament from the distal end. The device may avoid or reduce deformation of the plunger during the discharge. The plunger motion may be stopped by detent that interacts with the rod. The apparatus and the methods may provide an operator indication of progress of stages of operation. The device may feature triggers corresponding to stages of medicament displacement from the device, such as pre-delivery stages, including priming.
Signal Delaying Assembly for a Medicament Delivery Device
The present invention relates to a signal delaying assembly for a medicament delivery device, said assembly comprising a delay female member containing a fluid, a delay male member having at least one passage, a delay unit connected to the delay female member or to the delay male member, wherein a relative movement between the male member and the female member and towards each other causes the transfer of said fluid from said female member through the at least one passage for slowing said movement, characterized in that the delay unit is releasably connected to a signal generating assembly for delaying at least one feedback signal.
A Medicament Delivery Device
A device (1) for delivering an injectable drug to a patient for example from a conventional syringe (37) with a hypodermic needle. The device (1) provides to a user an audible, visible and/or tactile end of dose indication after all of the medicament has been delivered. The end of dose indication can be provided by releasing energy stored within an energy storage means (3d), energy having been imparted to the energy storage means (39) during the delivery of the injectable drug. The energy storage means (3d) acts upon an end of dose indicator (41) which interacts with another part of the device (1), for example an external housing (3), to produce the end of dose indication.
Rectal Injection Device And Method Of Operation Thereof
