LOCKING MECHANISM FOR A MEDICAMENT DELIVERY DEVICE
20230078909 · 2023-03-16 ·

A locking mechanism for use in a medicament delivery device prevents unintended movement or premature activation of a medicament delivery member cover while a protective cap is attached to the medicament delivery device. Removal of the protective cap unlocks the locking mechanism that can include a protrusion projecting radially inward from an interior portion of a protective cap and a locking ring having an annular shape and being rotatably positioned within the interior of the cap. The locking ring may include a first slot and a second slot, wherein the protrusion is slidably positioned within the first slot and the second slot is located at a distal end of the locking ring. A through hole opening in the locking ring allows the locking ring to rotate relative to the medicament delivery member cover from a locked position to an unlocked position when the cap is moved axially.

A MEDICAL SYRINGE PLUNGER AND A MEDICAL FINGER GRIP
20230128124 · 2023-04-27 ·

A medical syringe plunger and a medical finger grip for a disposal syringe having both a dose accuracy function and a plunger pulling out prevention function are provided. A plunger rod includes a first guide groove for guiding the axial movement by a protrusion of a finger grip which extends toward the center of the hole of the finger grip and moves in it, a second guide groove formed at a position on the plunger rod which is rotated by a predetermined angle in the circumferential direction with respect to the first guide groove for guiding the axial movement, an axial direction movement restriction section formed in the vicinity of the end point of the first guide groove for restricting the protrusion's movement in the axial direction, and a protrusion transition section for enabling the protrusion to transit from the first guide groove to the second guide groove.

AUTOINJECTOR, METHOD OF ACTIVATING AN AUTOINJECTOR AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLING AN AUTOINJECTOR

An autoinjector includes a housing in which a pre-filled syringe is arranged, a drive chassis mounted in the housing, and a release mechanism. The drive chassis is biased with respect to the housing by a drive spring. The drive chassis is fixed with respect to the housing and with respect to movement relative to the housing in a storage state of the autoinjector. The release mechanism includes a trigger arm engaging a stop feature in the housing in the storage state of the autoinjector, and the trigger arm is configured to be disengaged from the stop feature upon activation of the autoinjector.

AUTO-INJECTOR WITH ACTIVE AGENT CONTAINER LATCHING
20230069270 · 2023-03-02 ·

In an elongated casing, an active agent container connected to an injection needle can be shifted axially by a spring force. Auto-injectors distributed pre-filled and with the springs tensed may be provided with a needle protecting cap to ensure sterility of the needle. When the needle protecting cap is removed as preparation for using the auto-injector, a tensile force can be exerted on the active agent container. Therefore, the active agent container and needle must be prevented from being undesirably pulled forwards. At least one latching tongue prevents the active agent container from being prematurely shifted with respect to the casing, by abutting a flange arranged on a sliding sleeve accommodating the active agent container. When the auto-injector is placed onto the skin, a needle protecting tube is shifted into the casing, forcing the latching tongue away from the flange, thereby freeing the travel path for needle movement.

An injection device may include a housing, a container disposed within the housing, the container enclosing a fluid and having a first end and a second end, a conduit movable relative to the container, wherein the conduit is not in fluid communication with the fluid enclosed by the container while in a first position, and is in fluid communication with the fluid enclosed by the container and configured to deliver the fluid from the container to a patient while in a second position, and a lock that is removable from the housing, the lock having a first portion and a second portion.

A PACKAGE ASSEMBLY
20230201449 · 2023-06-29 ·

An assembly for a medicament delivery device is presented where the medicament delivery device is arranged within a package as a first subassembly extending along a longitudinal axis from a first end to a second end and a second subassembly, where the package has a first shell with a first body that extends along the longitudinal axis and defines a first chamber inside the first body that holds the first subassembly. A second shell having a second body extends along the longitudinal axis and defines a second chamber that holds the second subassembly, where the second shell is attached to the first shell by a first hinge. The first shell has a first pulling element extending along the longitudinal axis and is attached to the first subassembly and is attached to the first body by a second, where the first pulling element has a first gripper arranged at a second end of the first pulling element.

Injector safety device

A safety member for use with an injection device is disclosed. The safety member includes a blocking ring extending into a housing of the injection device in blocking association with a latch member associated with a trigger mechanism of the injector, in which the blocking ring blocks movement of a portion of the trigger mechanism into a firing position. The safety member further includes a manipulable portion disposed outside the housing and configured for hand-manipulation by a user to remove the safety member from the housing to unblock the firing mechanism to enable firing of the injector.
