INJECTION PEN WITH DIAL BACK AND LAST DOSE CONTROL
A medication injection method where a medication injection pen comprises a dose set knob rotatable with respect to a housing to set a desired injection dose. The dose set knob comprises at least one internal thread. A leadscrew includes a thread element for advancing in a first direction via a corresponding thread engagement. A driver is rotationally fixed to the leadscrew and is rotatable in a first direction to rotate and advance the leadscrew in the first direction. The setback member is rotationally fixed to the driver. The dose stop member is rotationally coupled to the setback member and is axially movable relative to the dose set knob when the dose set knob is rotated relative to the setback member. Axial movement of the dose stop member limits the user from setting a dose that is greater than an injectable volume of medication remaining in a cartridge.

INJECTION SPRING FOR AGED PREFILLED SYRINGE AND AUTO INJECTOR
An auto injector apparatus includes a prefilled syringe including a barrel and a needle disposed at the distal end of the barrel. A therapeutic fluid including fremanezumab is held within the barrel. A stopper is disposed within the barrel. The auto injector apparatus also includes an auto injector that holds the prefilled syringe. The auto injector includes a piston rod and an injection spring that drives the piston rod into abutment with the stopper to apply a dispensing force to the stopper.
Control of medical device using wireless communication
The present invention provides a system (1) comprising: a pen injection device (10) holding a specific type of medicament and comprising a dose expelling mechanism and pen communication means (15), a mobile communication unit (30) comprising mobile communication means (35) adapted to communicate with the pen communication means (15), and a software application program configured to determine a recommended type of medicament to be delivered to a user based on information indicative of a physiological condition of the user, wherein the pen injection device (10) further comprises indication means which in a first state indicates that the dose expelling mechanism is to remain idle and in a second state indicates that the dose expelling mechanism is available for operation, and wherein the mobile communication unit (30) is configured to, via a communication from the mobile communication means (35) to the pen communication means (15), a) prompt a change of state of the indication means from the second state to the first state in response to the recommended type of medicament to be delivered differing from the specific type of medicament, and/or b) prompt a change of state of the indication means from the first state to the second state in response to the recommended type of medicament to be delivered corresponding to the specific type of medicament.
Drug delivery device and a drug information detection device
A drug delivery device which includes a first housing part, a second housing part, a button, a drug expelling mechanism, a graduated plate, a circuit board and a pressing rod. The button is connected to the first housing part. The drug expelling mechanism is disposed inside the second housing part, and includes a dose setting member which is rotatable and configured to set a drug dose to be expelled. The graduated plate is disposed inside the first housing part and connected to the button, and includes a first conductive element and a plurality of second conductive element disposed on a surface thereof. The plurality of second conductive elements are arranged in interval and the first conductive element is electrically connected to the plurality of second conductive elements. The circuit board is disposed inside the first housing part and connected to the dose setting member. The pressing rod is inserted through the graduated plate, and includes an end connected to the button and the other end movable on an axial direction to trigger the actuating switch.
Information sensing syringe
Syringe systems and flow control systems configured to detect information associated with a liquid material are described. The syringe systems may include a syringe body for housing the liquid material and an injector piston for expelling the liquid material out of the syringe through a discharge outlet at a distal end of the syringe body. Components of the syringe, such as an injector piston, may include sensors configured to measure and/or detect a property of the liquid material, such as concentration, pH, or radioactivity. The flow control system may include a pinch valve and a platen arranged about a fluid delivery channel. Flow within the fluid delivery channel may be controlled by increasing (squeezing the fluid delivery channel) or decreasing the distance between the pinch valve and the platen. Components of the flow control system may include detectors configured to detect properties of fluid in the fluid control channel.
Medical device for delivering at least one fluid from a medical device
The invention relates to a medical device and a method for delivering at least one fluid from a medical device. More particularly, the present patent application relates to medical devices for delivering at least one, in particular two drug agents from separate reservoirs. The technical problem of preventing after-dripping and at the same time improving the safety and the dose accuracy of a medical device is solved by a method for delivering at least one fluid from a medical device, wherein the fluid is ejected from a reservoir by an advancing movement of a bung, wherein an electromechanical device is instructed to move the bung via a piston over a predetermined distance and wherein, after a dwell time following the advancing movement of the piston, the piston is retracted by the electromechanical device.
Syringe device with a dose limiting mechanism and an additional safety mechanism
