Preferably, the safety injection needle assembly (100) comprises a sealing member (260) having two set of indicators (280) for indicating position.
DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE
The disclosure relates to a drug delivery device including: a housing configured to contain a drug container with a needle, a needle shroud that is telescopically connected to the housing, and a cap that is configured to be releasably connected to the housing before use of the device. At least one of the cap and the needle shroud is adapted to unreleasably lock the cap onto the housing after reapplying the cap onto the housing after the drug delivery device is used.
PEN NEEDLE WITH RETRACTABLE SHIELD
A pen needle (30) for a delivery device includes a hub (32) supporting a needle (54) and a distal needle shield (70) that can retract to expose the needle during injection and return to the extended position after use and lock in the extended position to cover the needle. A proximal needle shield (0.102) moves from a retracted position to an extended position with respect to the hub to shield or cover a proximal end of the needle when the needle hub is separated from the delivery device. A spring (130) extends between the distal needle shield and the proximal needle shield to bias each needle shield to the respective extended position. The distal needle shield (70) is coupled to the proximal needle shield (102) in an initial position to retain the spring (130) in a compressed state. The distal needle shield (70) is depressed to disengage the distal needle shield from the proximal needle shield (102) so that the spring expands to an extended state and moves the shields to the extended positions. A locking member (142, 156) can be provided to lock the proximal needle shield (70) and distal needle shield (102) in the extended position.
AUTOMATIC INJECTION DEVICE
An automatic injection device, including a housing arranged along a longitudinal axis and having a forward end and a rearward end, the housing is configured to receive a syringe including at least one syringe piston and a needle coupled to a forward end thereof; a plunger rod adapted to be retained with respect to the housing in an initial operative orientation; at least one resilient element arranged to forwardly bias the plunger rod relative to the syringe; a needle shield adapted for selectable axial displacement with respect to the housing along the longitudinal axis, whereas rearward displacement of the needle shield exposes the needle and forward displacement of the needle shield covers the needle; and a trigger element configured to be axially rearwardly displaced upon rearward displacement of the needle shield relative to the housing and thereby allow forward displacement of the plunger rod relative to the syringe under the urge of the at least one resilient element.
MULTI-USE BLOOD CONTROL SAFETY CATHETER ASSEMBLY
A catheter assembly comprises a catheter (18), a needle (12) having a sharp distal tip disposed within the catheter (18), a catheter hub (14) connected to the catheter (18) having the needle (12) passing therethrough, the catheter hub (14) including a valve (38) that selectively permits or blocks a flow of fluid through the catheter (18), a valve actuator (54) that moves between a first position and a second position, and a return member (56) that returns the valve actuator (54) from the second position to the first position, and a needle protection member (176) that encloses the sharp distal tip of the needle (12).
METHOD OF USING MEDICINAL FLUID INJECTION DEVICE
The disclosed technology relates to a method for using a medicinal fluid injection device comprising a housing having an opening in a side surface thereof, a storage container arranged inside the housing and configured to store a medicinal fluid, an injection needle connected to the storage container and configured to inject the medicinal fluid when stored in the storage container through the opening, and a cover body covering the opening, wherein the cover body includes a cover part configured such that the a shape of the cover part changes according to air pressure caused by the injection needle.
Cap Assembly for Medicament Delivery Device
The present disclosure relates to a cap assembly for a medicament delivery device. The cap assembly comprises: a cap body arranged to be mounted to a proximal end of a medicament delivery device for protecting and for removing a medicament delivery member shield. The cap body has an inner cap structure defining a channel extending along the central axis of the cap body, and a gripping member configured to be received in the channel. The gripping member is radially flexible and has a first leg, a second leg, and a connecting portion extending between the first leg and the second leg. The first leg and the second leg each has a proximal portion that is radially flexible and extends distally from the connecting portion. Each proximal portion has an inclined section extending radially inwards in an axial direction away from the connecting portion. Each of the first leg and the second leg has a distal portion extending from the inclined section, the distal portions being radially flexible and extending radially outwards in an axial direction away from the proximal portions to allow the gripping member to receive a medicament delivery member shield between the distal portions. The gripping member and an inner wall of the channel are configured to engage to retain the gripping member in the inner cap structure. Each distal portion is provided with a medicament delivery member shield gripper configured to engage with a medicament delivery member shield when the gripping member engages with the inner wall of the channel and the gripping member has received a medicament delivery member shield causing the proximal portions and the distal portions to flex radially inwards.
NEEDLE CAPTURE SAFETY INTERLOCK FOR CATHETER
A catheter assembly (10) comprises a catheter (22), a needle (12) having a sharp distal tip disposed in the catheter (22), a catheter hub (14) housing the catheter (22) and the needle (12), the catheter hub (14) having a collar (34) including a notch (36), a needle shield (20) connected to the catheter hub (14) when the needle (12) is in a first position, and a clip (40) disposed in the needle shield (20) that cooperates with the needle (12), wherein the clip (40) engages the catheter hub (14) in the first position of the needle (12), and the clip (40) disengages the catheter hub (14) via the notch (36) when the needle (12) is retracted to a second position to enclose at least a portion of the needle (12).
