The conveyor may include a frame, at least one forward tensioner, at least one drive sprocket and at least one belt about the forward tensioner and the drive sprocket. In one implementation, the at least one belt forms a substantially uninterrupted crop engaging belt surface extending across a majority of the width. In one implementation, each belt has an upper portion and a lower portion with the lower portion being adjacent the crop passage, wherein a crop massager extends between the upper portion and the lower portion and resume only presses the lower portion of the continuous belt towards the crop passage.
Slat-bar cross-members in a feederhouse crop-conveying system
A feederhouse conveyor system for an agricultural harvesting machine is provided. The feederhouse conveyor system includes a power transmitting system. The power transmitting system includes first rollers, second rollers, and power transmitting bands. The power transmitting bands are configured to each transmit power between each of the first rollers and the second rollers. The feederhouse conveyor system also includes rigid cross members, configured to each attach near each end to at least one of the power transmitting bands, and flexible cross members configured to each attach near each end to at least one of the power transmitting bands. The centerlines which extend through the rigid cross members and the flexible cross members are parallel. The mat attaches to the flexible cross members by a pocket in the mat through which the flexible cross members extend.
Drive transfer member for operably coupling a draper header to a harvesting machine
A draper header is attached to a harvesting machine by an adapter including a bottom feed draper and an upper feed roller driven by a coupling from an output of the machine rotatable about an axis parallel to the forward direction and a right angle gearbox. The feed roller is mounted at each end allowing independent up and down floating movement of the ends and there is provided a mechanical linkage using two chains and an idler shaft between the output shaft of the gear box an input shaft of the roller with a universal coupling therebetween. The gear box is located at least partly underneath the discharge opening and underneath the feed roller, rearwardly of the rear guide roller of the feed draper, rearwardly of the axis of rotation of the feed roller and underneath a feed pan which is inclined upwardly and rearwardly over the gear box.
AGRICULTURAL HARVESTING MACHINE
An agricultural harvesting machine has a cutting apparatus formed as a header for cutting and picking up crop of a crop stand, an inclined conveyor downstream of the cutting apparatus and in which a temporal layer height flow is adjusted, and a driver assistance system for controlling the cutting apparatus. The driver assistance system has a computing device and a sensor arrangement with a crop sensor system for generating crop parameters of the crop stand and a layer height sensor for generating the temporal layer height flow. The computing device simultaneously generates the cutting apparatus parameters of the cutting table length, horizontal reel position and vertical reel position so as to be adapted to one another and conveys them to the cutting apparatus to implement a harvesting process strategy in ongoing harvesting operation.
PLANT PRODUCT HARVESTING MACHINE FEEDERHOUSE
A harvesting machine feederhouse that comprises an outer body connectable to and between a head unit and a thresher of the machine. The feederhouse additionally comprises a liner disposed across a bottom surface of the outer body, and at least one conveyor rotatably disposed within the outer body for conveying harvested plant product received from the head unit along the liner into the thresher. Each conveyor includes a first guide, a second guide, a pair of conveyor transports that extend between, and are disposed around, the first guide and the second guide. Each conveyor additionally includes a plurality of plant product sweeps disposed across and connected to the transports. Each sweep is sized to contact the liner as the conveyor transports are rotated around the first guide and second guide, thereby conveying plant product received from the head unit along the liner into the thresher.
Elevator Set of a Harvesting Machine and Harvesting Machine
An elevator set for a harvesting machine, such as cane harvesters, capable of providing a damping effect in response to impacts caused to the elevator set during activities in a field. The elevator set includes an elevator housing and an elevator which extends inside the elevator housing between a lower proximal end and an upper distal end. The lower proximal end is fixed to a chassis of the machine, and the upper distal end has an opening for discharging harvested material. The elevator set has a damper system that includes a first element and a second element. The first element is disposed on the elevator housing, and the second element is encased into said first element in a sliding relationship. A connection element is fixed, at one end, to the second element and, on another end, to a portion of the chassis of the machine.
Draper belt with a rubber insert inside the cleats to increase belt durability and reduce fiberglass rod
A draper belt (8) having a carry layer (14), a pulley cover layer (13), and a reinforcing layer (12) which is situated between the carry layer (14) and the pulley cover layer (13). The draper belt (8) has a first edge (30) and a second edge (31). The carry layer (14) includes a plurality of cleats (7) which run from the first edge (30) to the second edge (31) of the draper belt. The cleats (7) are reinforced with reinforcing rods which are comprised of a cured rubbery polymer which includes at least 3 phr of reinforcing fibers.
AGRICULTURAL HARVESTER WITH CONVEYOR BELT SYSTEM
An agricultural harvester may have a conveyor belt system that facilitates delivery of harvested crops from one or more heads to a storage region of the agricultural harvester. The conveyor belt system may have a first conveyor belt, a second conveyor belt disposed a distance from the first conveyor belt, and a third conveyor belt that may provide harvested crops to a region between the first conveyor belt and the second conveyor belt. The first conveyor belt and the second conveyor belt may rotate in opposite directions to facilitate delivery of the harvested crops to the storage region.
Harvester
A harvester capable of autonomous travel in a field includes: a harvesting unit that harvests a crop from the field; a conveyance device that conveys, toward the rear of a harvester body, a whole culm of the harvested crop harvested by the harvesting unit; a detection sensor that detects a drive speed of the conveyance device; and a clog determining unit that determines a clog of the harvested crop in the conveyance device on the basis of the drive speed. The clog determining unit outputs a vehicle stop command that stops the harvester body when the drive speed becomes lower than a pre-set first threshold during the autonomous travel.
Draper Header for a Crop Harvesting Machine
Crop is carried into a feed opening of a harvester by two side drapers, two rear back sheets defining an opening between inner edges, a central feed draper and a roller with end flight portions and a central finger portion located above the feed draper. In this geometry, a bottom tangent to the flight portions has a position which is at a height below the rear edge of the side drapers. The roller axis of the feed roller is behind the rear edge of the side drapers and behind a common plane containing the back sheets. The inner guide roller of each of the first and second side drapers is located inwardly of the inner edge of the first back sheet and inwardly of an outer end of the end flight portion. A forward most tangent to the flight portions projects forward of or proud of the common back sheet plane.
