PROTECTOR-ATTACHED PUNCTURE NEEDLE
A protector-attached puncture needle 10 in which a protector 14 is tiltably supported by a needle hub 18 of a puncture needle 12, and the protector 14 includes an accommodating groove 40 which opens toward the puncture needle 12 in a tilting direction and accommodates the puncture needle 12. Inner surfaces of both side walls 44, 44 of the accommodating groove 12 of the protector 14 include respective reinforcing ribs 52, 52 extending from a groove bottom portion toward a groove opening side. The reinforcing rib 52, 52 include respective recesses 54, 54 each opening to the inner surface of each of the side walls 44, 44. Diametrically both sides of an outer peripheral portion of a cap 30 enter and are locked in the respective recesses 54, 54 of the reinforcing ribs 52, 52 such that a tilt position of the protector 14 in an unused state before removal of the cap 30 is held.
SYRINGE NEEDLE SAFETY SYSTEM
A housing or enclosure is provided with a notch or an opening to receive the tip of a syringe with a needle and cap assembly. A user inserts the syringe into the notch or opening and guides the needle and cap assembly into an assembly that allows easy separation of the needle and cap. After separation, the user can inject the needle into a patient as usual, and thereafter place the exposed needle back into the notch or opening. A cap placement assembly uses a manual lever or a motor to secure the cap in place the needle and release the syringe/needle if needed.
Needle and Syringe System with Automatic Safety Shield that Renders a Needle Safe
A safety syringe system that automatically shields a needle after an injection. A plunger extends into a barrel. An elastic return construct is provided that has at least one stretchable arm. The elastic return construct engages the barrel and positions each stretchable arm along the exterior of the barrel. A safety shield is provided that slides over a first end of the barrel. In a first position, the needle is protected by the safety shield. In a second position, the needle is exposed. The safety shield engages and stretches the elastic return construct when moved from the first position to the second position. A locking mechanism is used to lock the safety shield into its second position. The locking mechanism is released by elements displaced by movement of the plunger.
DEVICE FOR THE NEEDLE TUBE OF A SYRINGE
A device for the needle tube of a syringe includes a housing which can pivot on a carrier element for the needle tube and which has an open housing side in the pivoting plane of the housing such that the needle tube can be swung into the housing in order to be held there after being used for injection. The arrangement of the rear free end of the needle tube in the carrier element enables controlled piercing, of the all of a container that is replaceable in the carrier element.
Protector housing plastic spike with flash intended for DVO last drop extraction
A device for transferring fluids in a closed system transfer device using flash for last drop extraction and to reduce coring. The device including a piercing member having a distal end and a proximal end and defining a longitudinal fluid channel. A first opening positioned at the distal end of the piercing member wherein the first opening is in fluid communication with the longitudinal fluid channel. A cover or flash positioned over the first opening. The cover including a pre-cut pattern wherein the cover opens along the pre-cut pattern upon application of a distally directed force from the longitudinal fluid channel. The distal end including the first opening having a steep taper to facilitate last drop extraction.
AUTO INJECTOR WITH AUTOMATIC RIGID NEEDLE SHIELD REMOVER
An auto injector for delivery of a medicament is disclosed. The auto injector comprises a housing, a syringe holder configured to receive a syringe; a first drive module adapted to move the syringe holder relatively to the housing; and a rigid needle shield remover comprising a first part adapted for separating a rigid needle shield from the syringe.
Subcutaneous needle
The present invention relates to a type of medical instrument, in particular a fifth generation FSN needle, being a special tool for Fu's subcutaneous needling (FSN), comprising a needle handle, a needle core, a soft casing pipe and its handle, and a protective sleeve. The needle core is fixed on top part of the needle handle and consists of a needle core body and a needle core tip. On top part of the needle handle, a round-hole-type groove is provided. On this groove, a positioning notch is provided, including first longitudinal position point, and inlet and second longitudinal position point at two sides of the first longitudinal position point. The soft casing pipe handle is a round tube that can be inserted into said groove. On the soft casing pipe handle, a first bulge and second bulges are provided: the first bulge is used to fix the soft casing pipe and its handle; the second bulges are used to prompt sweep position.
AUTO INJECTOR WITH CASSETTE
A cassette for use in an auto injector for administering a medicament, the cassette comprises a syringe compartment containing the medicament; a hollow needle in fluid connection with the syringe compartment; a rigid needle shield connected to the syringe compartment and covering the hollow needle; a stopper movable inside the syringe compartment; a syringe holder extending around at least part of the syringe compartment; a rigid needle shield holder having a first part positioned between the rigid needle shield and the proximal end of the syringe compartment, and a cassette skin sensor. Also disclosed is the auto injector.
Hypodermic Safety Needle
A safety needle device for connection to a medical connector, including threaded connections. The safety needle comprises a collar configured to interdigitate with a conventional needle hub, the collar having attachment points for a hinged cap, the hinged cap being in a two-piece configuration. In further embodiments, the safety needle device comprises a removable hard needle cover configured to cover needle cannula and a distal portion of a needle hub. The hard needle enclosure further comprises a cap configured to interdigitate with the needle cover and cover a proximal portion of the needle hub. The cap and at least a portion of the needle cover are covered by a removable sleeve which holds the cap and the needle cover together. Even further embodiments comprise a needle hub, a needle cover, an adapter and a cap, the adapter configured to attach to a conventional needle cap.
Hard-Packaged Safety Needle Device
A hard-packaged safety needle device comprises a needle hub having a needle cannula extending therefrom and a hard needle enclosure including a needle cover and a cap. The needle cover has an elongated body and a ribbed surface configured to create an interference fit with a proximal portion of the hub. The cap includes a body having an open distal end, a closed proximal end, and a cavity defined by the open distal end and the closed proximal end, the open distal end of the cap abutting an open proximal end of the needle cover.
