LOW-PROFILE MULTI-AGENT INJECTION SYSTEM AND METHODS
Low-profile fluid injection systems and methods for injecting fluid into a tumor within a body comprising an elongate member, a plurality of fluid delivery members, and a plurality of fluid reservoirs. Each of the plurality of fluid reservoirs may be fluidly coupled to a single of fluid delivery lumen of a single fluid delivery member such that each of the fluid delivery members is fluidly independent of every other fluid delivery member. The plurality of fluid delivery members may be configured to extend out of a distal end of the elongate member into the tumor when the system is positioned in the body of a patient. A fluid delivery mechanism may be operably coupled to the plurality of fluid reservoirs in order to deliver fluids from the plurality of fluid reservoirs to the plurality of fluid delivery members and inject the fluids into the tumor.

A therapeutic agent delivery system includes a therapeutic agent delivery assembly carried by a housing. The therapeutic agent delivery assembly includes a chamber including a first passageway, a therapeutic agent carried in the first passageway, and a needle in communication with the first passageway. The therapeutic agent delivery assembly is translatable relative to the housing from a stowed configuration to a deployed configuration. In the deployed configuration the needle at least partially extends distally from the distal end portion of the housing. The therapeutic agent delivery assembly is translatable relative to the housing from the deployed configuration to a retracted configuration. In the retracted configuration the needle is disposed proximally relative to the distal end portion of the housing. A drive mechanism translates the therapeutic agent delivery assembly from the stowed configuration to the deployed configuration and from the deployed configuration to the retracted configuration.
Machine vision based automatic needle cannula inspection system and methods of use
A machine vision based automatic needle cannula inspection system and methods of use. The system comprises of an inspection and control unit, image capture devices (32, 33), light sources (34, 35, 36, 37), a unit that makes the needle cannula (28) and the image capture device(s) (32, 33) rotate relative to each other, and a rejected part removal unit. By means of rotating the needle cannula (28) and image capture devices (32, 33) relatively, a plurality of images captured along the circumferential direction of the needle cannula are directly saved to a computer, the images are then screened, processed and analyzed to fulfill the automatic inspection of multiple quality and technical parameters of the needle cannula without the need to position the bevel area of cannula tip to a specific direction. Inspection parameters and accuracy can be set at any time, the system can automatically record classification and statistics of passed and rejected needle cannulae for query, and the rejected cannulae are removed automatically at next position. All the functions are completed at one work station, and needle cannula tips on both sides can be inspected simultaneously, if needed. Thereby the inspection efficiency and reliability are greatly improved, resulting in extremely extensive application prospects and huge economic values.
System and method for safety syringe
A system for serially injecting liquids includes a syringe body, proximal and distal stopper members disposed in the syringe body, a first liquid in a distal chamber, a second liquid in a proximal chamber, a plunger member, and a needle hub assembly coupled to a distal needle interface of the syringe body. The plunger member includes a needle retention feature disposed in a plunger interior, an energy-storage member disposed in the plunger interior, and an energy-storage member latching member disposed in the plunger interior. The needle assembly includes a needle having a needle proximal end feature, a hub, and a needle latching member configured to couple the needle to the hub. Manipulating the plunger member to insert the proximal stopper member distally relative to the syringe body initially expels the first liquid, then the second liquid. The needle is at least partially retractable into plunger interior.
Packaged products, inserts and compartments for aseptic mixing of substances, along with methods for use therewith
A package comprising a container for holding a first substance, and a product insert for holding a second substance, at least partially inserted info said container, and where the first product and the second product can be allowed to merge by external manipulation of said package. Packaged products and methods are also provided.
MACHINE VISION BASED AUTOMATIC NEEDLE CANNULA INSPECTION SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE
A machine vision based automatic needle cannula inspection system includes an inspection and control unit, image capture devices, light sources, a unit that makes the needle cannula and the image capture device(s) rotate relative to each other, and a rejected part removal unit. By means of rotating the needle cannula and image capture devices relatively, a plurality of images captured along the circumferential direction of the needle cannula are directly saved to a computer, the images are then screened, processed and analyzed to fulfill the automatic inspection of multiple quality and technical parameters of the needle cannula without the need to position the bevel area of cannula tip to a specific direction.
Needle puncture device
A needle puncture device comprises: a needle base; a needle; a first structural member disposed outside of the needle base, slidably engaged with the needle base in an extending direction of the needle, and provided with a first restriction mechanism configured to restrict the first structural member from separating from the needle base along the extending direction of the needle; and a second structural member disposed outside of the first structural member, slidably engaged with the first structural member along the extending direction of the needle, and provided with a second restriction mechanism configured to restrict the second structural member from separating from the first structural member along the extending direction of the needle. The present invention has the advantages of both operational convenience for an operator and skin comfort for a patient, and the structural members above the needle base can quickly cover the needle after use.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SAFETY SYRINGE
A system for mixing drug products and injecting includes a syringe body, proximal and distal stopper members disposed in the syringe body, a plunger member, and a needle hub assembly coupled to the distal needle interface of the syringe body. The proximal and distal stopper members form a proximal drug chamber between there between and a distal drug chamber between the distal stopper member and a distal end of the syringe body. The plunger member includes a needle retention feature, an energy-storage member, and an energy-storage member latching member all disposed in disposed in a plunger interior. First and second sizes of the respective proximal and distal drug chambers can be modified by movement of the proximal and distal stopper members relative to the syringe body. The needle is at least partially retractable into plunger interior upon manipulation of the plunger member relative to the syringe body.
