Activation assembly for a medicament delivery device
11202867 · 2021-12-21 · ·

An activation assembly for a medicament delivery device is presented having a delivery member cover provided with legs and configured to be biased in a proximal direction, a movable sleeve configured to be received between the legs, and an activation sleeve configured to be biased in the proximal direction, wherein the delivery member cover is configured to be moved in an axial direction between a first position and a second position, wherein movement of the delivery member cover from the first position to the second position causes movement of the movable sleeve from a first movable sleeve position to a second movable sleeve position. The delivery member cover axially displaces the activation sleeve in a distal direction when the delivery member cover moves towards the second position, thereby causing a first actuation of a sensor. The activation sleeve is configured to move in the proximal direction when the delivery member cover returns from the second position to the first position, thereby providing a second actuation of the sensor.

INTRAVENOUS CATHETER DEVICE WITH SLIDING SAFETY MECHANISM
20210386976 · 2021-12-16 ·

An intravenous catheter device can include a safety mechanism having a slider that couples to a catheter adapter and slides relative to a barrel. A needle hub can be contained within the barrel and can be retracted once a catheter has been inserted into the patient's vasculature. The retraction of the needle hub can be triggered by the sliding of the slider. The slider may also function to guard the distal tip of the needle once the needle hub is retracted within the barrel.

SAFETY SYRINGE APPARATUS

An apparatus for use with a syringe to provide a safety syringe, the apparatus comprising: a sheath (100; 300; 500; 700; 900; 1100; 1300) deployable for at least partially covering a needle of the syringe; a sheath actuator (102; 302; 502; 702; 902; 1102; 1302) for deploying the sheath; and a ratioed mechanism (104; 304; 504; 704; 904; 1104; 1304) linking the sheath and the sheath actuator and configured such that a magnitude of movement of the sheath is greater than a magnitude of movement of the sheath actuator during deployment of the sheath.

NEEDLE UNIT WITH FLOATING NEEDLE HUB

The present invention provides a needle unit (10) for use with a pen injection device, wherein the needle unit (10) comprises a needle shield (50) and an axially movable needle hub (25).

TRIGGERING MECHANISM FOR A MEDICAMENT DELIVERY DEVICE
20220203034 · 2022-06-30 ·

A triggering mechanism for a medicament delivery device, wherein the triggering mechanism comprises: a delivery member cover, a rotator, and a delivery member hub, wherein the delivery member cover is configured to move linearly relative to the rotator, wherein the delivery member cover is configured to cause rotation of the rotator when the delivery member cover is moved linearly in a first direction, and wherein the rotator is configured to cause linear movement of the delivery member hub in a second direction opposite to the first direction when the rotator is rotated.

PUSH-TYPE SAFETY PROTECTION MECHANISM OF BLOOD COLLECTION NEEDLE

The present invention discloses a push-type safety protection mechanism of a blood collection needle. The push-type safety protection mechanism comprises a sleeve member and a valve core member, wherein the valve core member is provided with three parts, namely a needle seat part, a sleeving part and a stopping part; a plurality of limiting grooves is formed in the stopping part; the sleeve member is provided with two parts, namely a first sleeve part positioned at a front section and a second sleeve part positioned at a rear section; an elastic button higher than the side wall of the first sleeve part is arranged on the side wall of the valve core member; a limiting opening matched with the elastic button is formed in the side wall of the first sleeve part; a limiting sliding cavity for accommodating the elastic button and the valve core member is formed from a position of the first sleeve part from the limiting opening to the inner side of the second sleeve part, and the limiting sliding cavity guides and limits front-back movements of the elastic button and the valve core member; and a plurality of elastic limiting protrusions matched with the limiting grooves is arranged on the inner wall of the tail sliding cavity of the second sleeve part. Through the design of the elastic button, medical staff can operate the blood collection needle with the left hand or the right hand alone during use.

Safety pen needle variable indicator

A safety pen needle assembly (12) is disclosed which comprises a hub (30), a needle cannula (20) engaged to the hub (30), the needle cannula (20) having a distal end for insertion into a patient, and a proximal end extending into the hub (30), a sleeve (14) surrounding the hub (30) and needle cannula (20), a shield (16) including a window (18), the shield (16) surrounding the sleeve (14) and movable relative to the sleeve (14) from a first position, to a second position and to a third position to expose and cover the distal end of the needle cannula (20), and a spring (144) urging the shield (16) to move relative to the sleeve (14) from the second position to the third position, wherein the window (18) indicates when the needle cannula (20) is extended in the second position.
