The grip part internal engagement is configured to slidingly engage the middle part track, and the middle part engagement is configured to slidingly engage the inner part track such that the inner part, the middle part and the grip part are telescopingly slidable in relation to one another.
DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE
A drug delivery device according to an embodiment may include a body including an opening; a magnetic element disposed in the body; a reservoir disposed in the body, connected to the magnetic element, and configured to store a drug; and an opening/closing structure coupled to the body and configured to open or close the opening.
INJECTION DEVICE FOR INJECTING A PHARMACEUTICAL SUBSTANCE, AND INJECTION LOADING PART FOR SUCH AN INJECTION DEVICE
The invention relates to an injection device (1) for injecting a pharmaceutical substance, having a proximal part (5) which has a drive (7) to implement an injection, and having a distal part (13) which is configured to accommodate an injection loading part (3), which has a packaging means receiving part (17) and a primary packaging means (23) which held in the packaging means receiving part (17) and in which a pharmaceutical substance is received, wherein the pharmaceutical substance can be injected from the injection loading part (3) when the injection loading part (3) is arranged in the distal part (13), wherein the distal part (13) is designed in such a way that the injection loading part (3) can be inserted axially into the distal part (13), and wherein the injection device (1) has a screen (15) which is designed and arranged in such a way that an injection needle (25) of the injection loading part (3) is concealed from a user during use of the injection device (1).
Housing with syringe holding feature
A securing device for an injection device which receives a syringe with a proximal end portion having a radially outwardly projecting flange, has a body with proximal and distal end portions, an opening for accepting the syringe, an outer surface, and a proximal end surface for contacting a distally-facing surface of the flange when the syringe is advanced distally, preventing further advancement. A securing arm includes a free end; a base end fixed to the outer surface; a first portion extending radially outwardly from the base end to permit the flange to pass; and a second portion extending radially inwardly in a rest position, contacting the flange as the syringe is advanced. The securing arm is elastically flexible to allow the free end to move radially outwardly, allowing the advancing flange to pass, and is biased to the rest position to secure the flange and the syringe against proximal movement.
Safety device with collapsible housing and trigger activation
Drug delivery safety devices having trigger activation systems activated by pressure against the skin of a patient and which automatically shield the needle after withdrawing the needle from the skin of the patient.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR REMOTELY PROCESSING DATA COLLECTED BY A DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE
Systems and methods are disclosed for processing sensor data collected by a drug delivery device with an external computing device. The drug delivery device may include a reservoir and a delivery cannula having a proximal end in fluid communication with the reservoir and a distal end to be received within a patient. The drug delivery device may further include one or more sensors configured to generate sensor data representative of a condition and/or operational state of the drug delivery device, and a communication module configured to transmit information to the external computing device. The external computing device may process the information received from the drug delivery device according to information stored in a memory of the external computing device to determine the condition or the operational state of the drug delivery device and/or generate instructional or informational prompts to be displayed to a user or patient.
SAFETY NEEDLE DEVICE
A safety needle device is disclosed having a housing configured to couple to a syringe, the housing having a proximal end, a distal end, and a housing body. A first guide path, a second guide path and a third guide path may be disposed on the housing body. A needle hub is disposed on the proximal end of the housing and a needle cannula is attached to the needle hub. The device having a retractable sheath configured to move between an initial position, a retracted position and an extended position with respect to the housing, wherein the initial position partially exposes a distal tip of the needle cannula, the retracted position fully exposes the needle cannula, and the extended position fully covers the distal tip of the needle cannula. The retractable sheath also may have a guide element. The first, second and third guide paths are configured to slidingly receive the guide element. The device also having a first locking member, a second locking member, a rotating cam disposed in the housing body, and a spring element to bias the retractable sheath to an extended state to cover the distal end of the needle cannula upon completion of an injection.
DEVICES FOR INJECTING MEDICAMENTS AND METHODS OF USE
A device for injecting a medicament is provided. The device has a housing with a container within it which can hold a medicament. At its proximal end the container has a needle and a stopper. The device includes a plunger which at one end can engage the stopper. At the opposite end, the plunger can engage a first resilient member to move the stopper within the container to inject the medicament from the container. The device includes a collar with distal and proximal ends, the distal end engaging with a carriage and causing its rotation and the proximal end engaging with a second resilient member. The second resilient member can engage with a skin sensor which has distal and proximal ends. At the proximal end, the skin sensor can contact an injection site. The housing has a cap which can reduce or prevent movement of the skin sensor.
