Agricultural inter-row mowing device
An agricultural mowing device includes a shaft, a first cutting device, and a second cutting device. The shaft has an upper section, a middle section, and a lower section. The shaft is advanced in a field between two adjacent rows of planted matter. The first cutting device is mounted to the lower section of the shaft. The first cutting device extends laterally from the shaft to a distance covering only a distance between the two adjacent rows. The first cutting device cuts plant matter that grows between the two adjacent rows. The second cutting device is mounted to the middle section of the shaft. The second cutting device extends laterally from the shaft to a distance covering at least a portion of at least one of the two adjacent rows. The second cutting device cuts plant matter that grows in the at least one of the two adjacent rows.
Mower with cutting deck suspended from floor pan
A mower may have a frame, a floor pan affixed to the frame, and a cutting deck suspended from the floor pan. A height of the cutting deck over a terrain surface may be adjustable with a lift system. The lift system may couple the cutting deck to the floor pan and move the cutting deck between a minimum height and a maximum height.
Side-Directed Rotary Cutter
A cutter for use with a mower such as a front of a tractor or skid steer has at least one cutting blade disposed below a cutting deck. A first arm assembly connects at a pivot to the deck and preferably connects to an extension extending forwardly relative to a mounting plate connected to the mower. The pivot is preferably spaced by a portion of the arm assembly from a length of the mounting plate. A roller assembly may be utilized to support the cutting blades above a surface to be cut. A second arm assembly may selectively position the cutting deck at preselected angles about the pivot. The first arm assembly may have curved ribs to allow the cutting deck to be declined to a negative angle relative to the pivot.
System and Method for Attaching Implements to Different Skid Steer Mounts
A system and method for attaching implements to skid steer machines having different implement mounting configurations. The implements include or are separately provided with a securement frame defining a mini skid steer pocket engageable with a mini skid steer mount and a larger standard skid steer pocket engageable with a standard skid steer mount. The mini pocket is located between the implement and the standard pocket. A passage opening extends through the standard pocket where through the mini pocket is accessible. For attaching the implement to a mini skid steer, the mini skid steer mount is inserted through the passage opening and engages the mini skid steer pocket while the standard skid steer pocket remains unused. For attaching the implement to a standard skid steer, the standard skid steer mount is inserted directly into and engages the standard skid steer pocket while the mini skid steer pocket remains unused.
Bagger for stand-on mower
A bagger attachment for use with a stand-on lawn mower. The bagger includes, in some embodiments, an impeller, a duct, and one or more bags which are covered by a hood. The hood is attached to a pivot frame that allows movement of the hood between open and closed positions. The bagger attachment may also include a frame assembly that facilitates mounting and removal of the bagger attachment from the mower. The bagger attachment may either contain removable bags, or may include a discharge door for dumping the clippings.
Agricultural mowing device
A mowing device for mowing material between rows of planted crops in an agricultural field, comprising a series of mower assemblies attached to a tractor and spaced from each other so that each mower assembly is located between an adjacent pair of rose of a printed crop. Multiple blades are mounted for rotation on each mower assembly for cutting material growing in the space between adjacent pairs of rows of a planted crop. A first deflector in front of each mower assembly moves planted crops around the outside of the mower assemblies so as not to be cut by the mower assemblies. A second deflector may be provided within each mower assembly and located rearwardly of the blades to push mowed material laterally toward the adjacent rows of a planted crop.
MOWER WITH FRONT MOUNTED ROTARY CUTTING DECK HAVING A TIPPED UP SERVICE POSITION
A mower comprises a frame carrying a front mounted rotary cutting deck. A deck lift moves the cutting deck between mowing and transport positions. The cutting deck can be selectively pivoted on the deck lift into a substantially tipped up service position to expose the underside of the cutting deck for service. The cutting deck has a self-engaging latch to hold it in its service position. A self-engaging catch provides a temporary hold position for the cutting deck that is short of the transport position as the cutting deck is being returned from the service position to prevent inadvertent contact between the cutting deck and the user. For ease of use, both the latch and the catch are releasable by a user from one side of the cutting deck which side also includes a rear foot pad and a front hand grip on the cutting deck.
Outdoor power equipment suspension system
An outdoor power equipment unit includes a front wheel independent suspension system. The front wheel independent suspension system includes a frame, a first front wheel assembly, a second front wheel assembly, a first laterally-extending suspension arm pair, and a second laterally-extending suspension arm pair. The first laterally-extending suspension arm pair includes a first suspension arm and a second suspension arm, both coupled to the frame and the first front wheel assembly. The second laterally-extending suspension arm pair includes a third suspension arm and a fourth suspension arm, both coupled to the frame and the second front wheel assembly. Both the first suspension arm pair and the second suspension arm pair are configured to independently pivot about the frame such that each of the first front wheel assembly and the second front wheel assembly are vertically displaceable relative to the frame.
Agricultural mowing machine and a method for unfolding/folding the machine
An agricultural mowing machine comprises a carrying arm. A lateral displacement structure is connected to the carrying arm and can be displaced relative to the carrying arm in a lateral direction between an inner position and an outer position. A mowing unit is connected to the lateral displacement structure. The mowing unit can be moved between an approximately horizontal working position, a raised headland position, and a transport position. A first hydraulic cylinder and a second hydraulic cylinder are connected to each other in such a manner that hydraulic fluid discharged from said first or second hydraulic cylinder is supplied under pressure to the other of the first or second hydraulic cylinder for pivoting the carrying arm so as to move the mowing unit from the transport position towards the headland position displacing the lateral displacement structure outwards relative to the carrying arm simultaneously.
OUTDOOR POWER EQUIPMENT SUSPENSION SYSTEM
An outdoor power equipment unit includes independent suspension system having a frame, a first wheel assembly, a second wheel assembly, a first laterally-extending suspension arm pair, and a second laterally-extending suspension arm pair. The first wheel assembly includes a first wheel and a first side suspension arm. The first side suspension arm is pivotably coupled at a first end to a first side structural member and is fixedly coupled at a second opposite end to a joint of the first wheel assembly. The second wheel assembly is arranged similarly to the first wheel assembly. Both the first laterally-extending suspension arm pair and the second laterally-extending suspension arm pair are configured to independently pivot about the frame to be vertically displaceable relative to the frame.
