Bed having rack and pinion powered width expansion
A bed comprises a fixed width deck section, a wing movably coupled to the fixed width section, and a rack and pinion mechanism for extending and retracting the wing.
PERSON SUPPORT SYSTEM WITH WIDTH EXPANSION WINGS WHICH REACH EXTENSION LIMITS AT DIFFERENT TIMES
A system for changing the width of a person support apparatus includes a bed controller for receiving a command signal indicating a command for width alteration, a first motor controlled by the bed controller for driving an extension of a first deck section of the support apparatus thereby altering the width of the first deck section, and a second motor controlled by the bed controller for driving an extension of a second deck section of the support apparatus thereby altering the width of the second deck section. The bed controller controls the first motor and the second motor in a manner that causes the first deck section to reach a first deck section width alteration limit at a first time and the second deck section to reach a second deck section width alteration limit at a second time, wherein the first time and the second time are not equal.
TABLE AND TRAY ASSEMBLY
The invention disclosed herein is directed to a table and tray assembly that can be used for housing plants. The table can be constructed with optional legs. The legs can be foldable and/or removable. The table has a frame that extends the perimeter of the table. The frame has a top flange that is configured to secure a tray in the table. The table has corner brackets that are configured to allow a first table to be securely stacked on a second table. The brackets have a lower vertical flange that engages with an upper flange of a second bracket in stacked form. The tray has a fluid trap and at least one flow channel extending from the fluid trap. The fluid trap has a connection member that can connect the tray to an external fluid source via tubing. The fluid trap can also have an insertable debris trap.

Leg assemblies
A table may include a tabletop, a frame, and a leg assembly. The leg assembly may include a support element, a translation mechanism, and a lock device. The support element may include an end structure attached to an elongated structure. The end structure may be rotatably coupled to the frame such that the support element is rotatable relative to the frame between a first position and a second position. The translation mechanism may be retained relative to the support element and the frame. The translation mechanism may be configured to translate along the support element as the support element rotates. The lock device may be configurable in an engaged arrangement in which the lock device fixes the translation mechanism to the support element and in a disengaged arrangement in which the translation mechanism is not fixed relative to the support element.
FLIP TOP TABLE
A flip top table includes a leg assembly supporting an axle defining a rotation axis extending in a longitudinal direction. A strike plate is non-rotatably secured to the axle, with the strike plate having first and second circumferentially spaced and radially extending stop surfaces. A worksurface is rotatably supported on the axle and includes first and second circumferentially spaced stop surfaces. The worksurface is rotatable about the rotation axis between a use position and a stowed position. A latch assembly is coupled to and rotatable with the worksurface between the use and stowed positions. The latch assembly includes a lock bolt moveable in the longitudinal direction between a disengaged position, wherein the lock bolt is longitudinally displaced from the strike plate, and an engaged position, wherein the lock bolt engages the second stop surface of the strike plate when the worksurface is in the use position. An actuation mechanism is also provided.
FLIP TOP TABLE WITH A NESTED LEG ASSEMBLY
A flip top table with a nesting leg assembly is disclosed. The flip top table has a primary shaft having a top portion, a bottom supporting plate secured to the top portion of the primary shaft, a hinge assembly connected to a side of the bottom supporting plate, a top supporting plate coupled to the bottom supporting plate via the hinge assembly, wherein the top supporting plate is configured to receive and secure a tabletop, a locking knob operatively positioned at a bottom portion the bottom supporting plate, wherein the locking knob has a threaded portion is configured to secure the bottom supporting plate to the top supporting plate, wherein a counter force from the hinge assembly is configured to dampen a closing weight of the top supporting plate and the top supporting plate has an insert configured to receive the threads of the locking knob to lock the top supporting plate to the bottom supporting plate in a horizontal position.
Table with molded plastic table top
A table may be sized and configured to nest with an adjacent table to reduce a height of a plurality of stacked tables in a nested configuration. The tabletop may include an upper surface, a sidewall and a receiving portion at least partially disposed in the upper surface and the sidewall. The receiving portion may be sized and configured to receive an engaging portion of an adjacent table when the tables are disposed in a nested configuration. The tabletop may also include a plurality of strengthen members disposed in the lower portion of the tabletop that are sized and configured to support the receiving portion. For example, the strengthening members may include an inner surface sized and configured to support an inner surface of the receiving portion.
