A height adjustment mechanism for an adjustable height table includes an outer sleeve, an inner sleeve, a plug, and a locking mechanism. The outer sleeve is disposed outside the inner sleeve, and the outer sleeve and the inner sleeve are slidable relative to each other. The plug is disposed outside the inner sleeve, and is slidably connected to the inner sleeve. The plug is disposed at an upper end of the outer sleeve, and an outer wall of the plug includes a pressing portion. The locking mechanism operates to push the pressing portion tightly against an outer wall of the inner sleeve to increase the friction between the plug and the inner sleeve, so that the plug and the inner sleeve are relatively fixed.

A table may include a tabletop, a frame, and a leg assembly. The leg assembly may include a support element, a translation mechanism, and a lock device. The support element may include an end structure attached to an elongated structure. The end structure may be rotatably coupled to the frame such that the support element is rotatable relative to the frame between a first position and a second position. The translation mechanism may be retained relative to the support element and the frame. The translation mechanism may be configured to translate along the support element as the support element rotates. The lock device may be configurable in an engaged arrangement in which the lock device fixes the translation mechanism to the support element and in a disengaged arrangement in which the translation mechanism is not fixed relative to the support element.

An article of furniture can include a flipping actuation mechanism. A privacy screen apparatus can also be connectable to the article of furniture. The flipping actuation mechanism and the privacy screen apparatus can each be configured to facilitate flipping and stacking or nesting of tables or other types of articles of furniture.

A table has a tabletop, a vertical support, and a mounting frame disposed at a top end of the vertical support and attached to the tabletop. The mounting frame includes a fixing base, a rotating frame rotatably connected to the fixing base, and a rotating handle assembly rotatably connected to the rotating frame. When the table top is at an unfolded position, the operating member is operable from a lock state, where the second engaging portion of the operating member is biased by the resilient unit to engage the first engaging portion of the top seat, to an unlock state, where the second engaging portion is disengaged from the first engaging portion against a resilient force of the resilient unit, thereby permitting pivot movement of the table top to the folded position.

A folding table includes a support stand, a fold mechanism, and a table top. The support stand includes a top seat having a first engaging portion. The fold mechanism includes a fold seat pivoted to the top seat, a resilient unit, and an operating member having a second engaging portion. When the table top is at an unfolded position, the operating member is operable from a lock state, where the second engaging portion of the operating member is biased by the resilient unit to engage the first engaging portion of the top seat, to an unlock state, where the second engaging portion is disengaged from the first engaging portion against a resilient force of the resilient unit, thereby permitting pivot movement of the table top to the folded position.
