A convertible table having a base frame, a bench element attached to one side of the base frame, a rotating arm mechanism attached at a first side to the base frame, and a table element attached to a second side of the rotating arm mechanism, wherein the table element is displaceable between a table mode having a coplanar top surface, and a bench mode having a raised table surface above and apart from a bench surface. The convertible table may be used as one would use a coffee table, dining table or desk.

An elongated horizontal upper member extends between upper ends of the leg members. An elongated horizontal lower member below the tabletop member lower surface extends between and is joined to the leg members intermediate their upper and lower ends to form a gap with the upper member. A removable accessory bracket includes a substantially flat vertical member extending along a first plane and a lip member coupled to an upper end of the vertical member, the lip member extending along a second, substantially parallel plane spaced from the first plane and engaging the lower member to support the accessory bracket adjacent the outer surface of the lower member.

A table assembly includes a tabletop member having a tabletop worksurface and a downwardly directed lower surface. A leg structure including first and second substantially vertical and spaced apart leg members is coupled to the lower surface for supporting the tabletop member. An elongated horizontal upper member extends between upper ends of the leg members. Collapsible table assembly includes a top panel, a first side panel and a second side panel selectively, each engaged with the bottom facing surface of the top panel. A front panel pivotably connects with the top panel, the first side panel, and the second side panel. A latch carried by the front panel engages with a corresponding latch carried on the top panel when the top panel is pivotably rotated towards the front panel in a stowing position. The first side panel and second side panel are pivotable towards the front panel. In operation, the assembly is moved from an assembled position to the stowed position when the first side panel and second side panel are pivoted towards the front panel, and the top panel is pivoted until the corresponding latch on the top panel and front panel are engaged.

A table arrangement includes a height adjustment mechanisms for movement of one or more height adjustable tabletops. When more than one tabletop is present, each of the tabletops can be independently moveable. Embodiments of the table arrangement can be configured so that a user can manipulate an actuation mechanism to have the tabletop automatically moved to a pre-selected position without the user having to manually control the actuation mechanism to cause the tabletop to move to that pre-selected position.

Collapsible table assembly includes a top panel, a first side panel and a second side panel selectively, each engaged with the bottom facing surface of the top panel. A front panel pivotably connects with the top panel, the first side panel, and the second side panel. A latch carried by the front panel engages with a corresponding latch carried on the top panel when the top panel is pivotably rotated towards the front panel in a stowing position. The first side panel and second side panel are pivotable towards the front panel. In operation, the assembly is moved from an assembled position to the stowed position when the first side panel and second side panel are pivoted towards the front panel, and the top panel is pivoted until the corresponding latch on the top panel and front panel are engaged.

A system and method for communicatively pairing a mobile communication device and a furniture item, such as a desk or table, includes placing the mobile communication device in a communication zone associated with the furniture item. In response to placing the mobile communication device in the communication zone, a communication link is established between the mobile communication device and a communication circuit of the furniture item. A user interface is then displayed on a display screen of the mobile communication device to show a preset height, such as a standing or sitting height, for the furniture device. When a user selects the preset height, an actuator adjusts the furniture item to the specific height. The communication circuit may use any available wireless communication protocol or circuit.
