Hip joint prosthesis
10973642 · 2021-04-13 ·

A hip joint prosthesis is formed of a coil spring having a middle section bounded by first and second opposite ends, with one of the two ends configured as a femoral fixing end and the other of the two ends configured as an acetabular fixing end. A central axis of the coil spring extends between the two opposite ends, providing a freely movable, flexible central coil linking the two ends.

Radial head implant

A radial head prosthesis for implantation in a distal radius. The implant includes a head portion and a stem portion. The stem portion has a cylindrical shaft and tapered tip. The head portion includes a recess for engagement with the stem portion. The head portion includes a first bearing surface for articulation with a humerus, and a second bearing surface for articulation with an ulna. The second bearing surface includes at least one concave and one convex portion immediately adjacent one another.

BONE GRAFT AND METHOD OF MAKING AND USING SAME

A spinal bone graft includes one or more cortical bone portions forming a first unit. The first unit includes an engagement surface for contacting bone, and a mating surface. The mating surface forms at least one first undercut. The bone graft also includes one or more cortical bone portions forming a second unit. The second unit includes an engagement surface for contacting bone, and a mating surface. The mating surface forms either at least one second undercut, or at least one connector. In the former, at least one connector is received in each of the first and second undercuts to interconnect the first and second units. In the latter, the at least one connector of the second unit is received in the first undercut of the first unit to interconnect the first unit and second unit.

IMPLANTABLE COMPOSITIONS HAVING FIBERS AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING THEM

Intervertebral implants for implanting into an intervertebral space are provided. The implants can comprise one or more layers that are operably attached to one another. An implant can comprise a first layer having a first mating surface that mates with a second mating surface of a second layer. The first mating surface and the second mating surface can have features that allow them to complement each other. The implants can include one or more bore holes for receiving a fixation member. The bore holes can be horizontal, vertical or diagonal. In some cases, the bore holes will be blind bore holes.

Mini Bicondylar Knee Implant and Method for Insertion Through Direct Lateral Approach and Instrumentation for Fixation with Insertable Compression Clips
20200281733 · 2020-09-10 ·

A bicondylar knee prosthesis configured to be implanted through a direct lateral approach during which insertion, the femoral and tibial components are affixed and secured to the bone using shaped compression clips inserted laterally into the femoral and tibial components having correspondingly configured receiving channels.

Cervical Disc And Instrumentation

A spinal implant configured for positioning within a space between adjacent vertebral bodies includes an upper end plate including an outer surface extending between first and second end surfaces and opposed side surfaces. The outer surface includes a first convex profile extending between the first and second end surfaces and a second convex profile extending between the opposed side surfaces. The first convex profile and the second convex profile have different curvatures. The spinal implant further includes a lower end plate and a core disposed between the upper and lower end plates and coupled thereto. A method of assembling a spinal implant and a method of performing spinal surgery are also disclosed.

SPINAL IMPLANT SYSTEM AND METHOD

A method for treating a spine is provided. The method includes the steps of: disposing an interbody implant adjacent a posterior portion of an intervertebral disc space; connecting a surgical instrument with at least one fixation element fastened with tissue adjacent the posterior portion; and manipulating the surgical instrument such that tissue adjacent the posterior portion engages the interbody implant and one or more vertebra rotate about the interbody implant. Spinal implants; surgical instruments and systems are disclosed.
