EXPANDABLE FUSIONS DEVICES, INSTRUMENTS, AND METHODS THEREOF

Expandable fusion devices, systems, instruments, and methods thereof. The expandable fusion device is capable of being installed inside an intervertebral disc space to maintain normal disc spacing and restore spinal stability, thereby facilitating an intervertebral fusion. The fusion device may include a body, a first endplate, and a second endplate. A drive screw may be rotated to move the first and second endplates outwardly and into an expanded configuration. Instruments may be provided to ensure the implant is inserted safely and as intended.

MEDIAL STABILIZED ORTHOPAEDIC TIBIAL INSERT

An orthopaedic knee prosthesis includes a tibial insert and a femoral component configured to articulate on the tibial insert. The tibial insert includes a lateral articular surface and medial articular surface that is asymmetrically shaped relative to the lateral articular surface. The medial articular surface is shaped to reduce anterior translation of a medial condyle of the femoral component, while the lateral articular surface is shaped to allow a lateral condyle of the femoral component to pivot, relative to the medial articular surface, along an arcuate articular path. Additionally, one or both condyles of the femoral component may include a femoral articular surface having a curved femoral surface section defined by a continuously decreasing radius of curvature.

SPINAL IMPLANT SYSTEM AND METHOD

A spinal implant includes an outer body extending along an axis between opposite first and second ends. The outer body defines a bore and a first thread. An inner shaft includes opposite first and second ends. The second end of the inner shaft is positioned in the bore. The inner shaft includes a second thread that mates with the first thread. The second thread includes a series of gear teeth. An end plate is coupled to the first end of the inner shaft. A driver includes a gear configured to engage the gear teeth such that rotation of the driver relative to the outer body rotates the inner shaft relative to the outer body to translate the inner shaft relative to the outer body along the longitudinal axis. Systems and methods are disclosed.

A spinal implant includes a first member that is curved along an axis between opposite ends. The first member defines a bore and a first thread. A second member is positioned in the bore and is curved between opposite ends. The second member includes a second thread engaged with the first thread. The second thread includes a series of gear teeth. A third member is positioned in the bore and is curved between opposite ends and includes opposite ends. A bone graft system includes a two-dimensional mesh sheet sized and shaped to, when folded along fold lines, form a three-dimensional graft containment structure configured to be packed with a bone graft material for placement within a target area of a bone, the mesh sheet including a first end flap connected to a remaining portion of the mesh sheet via a first fold line and a second end flap connected to the remaining portion of the mesh sheet via a second fold line, a third fold line extending from the first fold line to the second fold line so that the remaining portion is configured to be wrapped around folded first and second end flaps to form the graft containment structure, the first and second end flaps substantially corresponding to a profile of the target area of the bone.

IMPLANT EXTRACTOR

An implant extractor including a shaft body and a telescoping push rod extending from the shaft body. An adjustor is engaged with the telescoping push rod for adjusting a length of the telescoping push rod. A support arm extends laterally away from the shaft body and a jaw assembly extends from the support arm. The jaw assembly includes a jaw moveable between a locking position and an unlocking position, and a rocker arm operatively engaged with the telescoping push rod and the jaw. The implant extractor provides a line of force spaced from and substantially parallel to an implant to be extracted. As a consequence, there is substantial clearance for an extension handle such as a C-frame or the like which is oftentimes needed to dislodge the implant from surrounding bone. In addition, the implant extractor is capable of gripping a wide range of sizes of hip stem implant trunnions.

Artificial hip joint stem and stem providing method

An artificial hip joint stem is used to replace the damaged femoral head or acetabulum and includes a stem body having a head fixing part, which fixes a head, and an operating space horizontally opened at the upper side thereof. A head insertion hole connects to the operating space. A screw part is inserted into the head insertion hole. An operation converting part is inserted into the operating space to vertically move by the screw part when the operation converting part is connected to the screw part. A fixing bracket is inserted into the operating space such that the screw part is fixed to rotate without changing the depth thereof. A variable operating part is inserted into a supporting surface of the stem body to adjust a horizontal width by means of the operation converting part. A movable pin fixes the variable operating part to the operation converting part.

Bone fusion system, device and method including delivery apparatus

A bone fusion method, system and device for insertion between bones that are to be fused together and/or in place of one or more of the bones, such as, for example, the vertebrae of a spinal column. The bone fusion device comprises one or more extendable tabs having a central rib. The bone fusion device includes one or more support channels configured to receive an insertion instrument that is then secured to the bone fusion device via a coupling mechanism. As a result, the coupled device is able to be securely positioned between vertebrae using the insertion instrument with minimal risk of slippage.

PEDICLE-BASED INTRADISCAL FIXATION DEVICES AND METHODS

Pedicle-based intradiscal fixation devices, systems, instruments, and methods thereof. An implant for stabilizing an inferior vertebra and a superior vertebra may include a first member and a second member moveably connected to the first member. The implant may have a first, initial insertion orientation and a second, final implantation orientation different from the first, initial insertion orientation. The first member may be configured to be inserted through a pedicle of the inferior vertebra and the second member may be configured to engage bone of the superior vertebra in the second, final implantation orientation.
